Santro Xing GLS ( Good choice only if its your 1st car)

 

Exterior Same old exteriors since ages, pretty light weight body, every part vibrates with my sub woofer.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good on front seats unless you are not above 5.8", back suitable for only 2, lower legspace, boot space is good, lack of power windows on the backside even on the highend versions, A/C Sucks in afternoon and is noisy on hogh fan.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good Pickup, bad on mileage, 10kmpl on city with 50 % A/c, 12 kmpl on highways, pretty old locking system, Grearbox is not that smooth as compared to other hatch backs, Not good for high speed hoghway rides, highly unstable on above 120 kmph. Best for city drive if petrol cost is not your concern.

Ride Quality & Handling Best car to learn driving, Santro is fun to drive, buy a second hand santro and make your entire family learn driving and then sell it, Handling is pretty good in congested areas.

Final Words Overall an a good car if you are driving for the first time, although not suitable for long drives, the back seat pessengers will have to go for back and knee replacement surgery due to lack of space and unconfortable sitting, Good for city drive, low cost of maintainance for Hundai Santro.

Areas of improvement A/c is very noisy on high speed and ineffective in sun, lack of space in back seats, gear box is not confortable, locking system is old style, Car style is pretty old, Brakes are not that effective, car not stable on high speeds, outer body is weak.
