After 95K Kms, still at 15Km/L with AC in City Condition

 

Exterior Quite good. I bought the car in Nov 2006 and no polishing done eversince. Still the quality of paint and shine is equally good for any 2 year old car.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Decent for a small size car. Through plastic but pleasent. Very good leg space for front seats. I am 6 ft tall and drive this car very comfortably. A.C. is very powerful I must say.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I simply love its engine. I can rave about it day and night. One would ask why. So here it is. My car has done 95,000 Km since Nov 2006 and still giving me the fuel economy of 15 Km/L in city conditions. With an engine this old and run so much, the pick up (with AC on) is very good and touch max speed of 140 km/hr with 5 passengers and luggage. Gear box is very smooth, feather touch. You can actually change gear with just one finger. So smooth.

 

Ride Quality & Handling  Excellent. There is no terrain that i have not driven this car on. Mud & Mountains, Water logs, Rough roads, Villages, Hill stations, you name it and this car has proven its worth. Having driven at varied places, dont recall even a single incident where the car faced any sort of trouble. I have not spent anything other than scheduled servicing. Santro is truely amazing.

 

Final Words Excellent. Excellent and Simly Excellent.

 

Areas of improvement Only area I can suggest for improvement is Suspension. Its not that bad, but if I compare it with other Santro experiences, this falls short. Else this is a zoom car.
