Exterior Well rounded exteriors, aerodynamic design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Lacking in space for 5 people. Well designed driver seat with ease accessibility to the gear shaft.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent on performance, great pickup, light weight car, MPFI engine, a good 11-12 kmpl in city drive and 17-18 kmpl on highways with the AC, Slightly sluggish with AC on and when climbing a slope. Boot space enough for 2 people on a 3 - 4 day vacation. Easy.
Ride Quality & Handling Bumpy when sitting at the back. Need to drive slowly with people in the back. Excellent pickup with a zippy drive. Power steering can be handled with a single fingure.
Final Words My first car and enjoying the car even after 6 years of driving around in it. Absolutely low cost maintenance since I had mid range version of the car. Worth having as your first car.
Areas of improvement The bumpy ride on the back seat.

It is small family car. comfortable for 4 members. Good space at Boot. Back seat folding gives more space for couples want to take a journey.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
1.1L petrol engine give excellent performance in its class. good pick-up(if no AC).
We can feel smooth drive and almost nil noise inside. Infact re-started even it was in on condition in my earlier days. Based on my suggestions most of my friends begine with santro(pur)..later moved to different brands.
Ride Quality & Handling
Driving is comfortable even for long trips. I drove it for 43K KMs...still it is looks brand new.
Final Words
I purchased in 2007 till now enjoying the drive. Made more than 15 long trips(300-500KM).
In general it is the best car in its class. More over best re-sale value.
Any new buyer can start with Santro.

Exterior The car has good looks and also hard shell. Headlamps and indicators are good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Resonably good space, the dash board is good, Good power windows, Power stearing has good responce. bottle/cup holders are bad and non standard size.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The mileage of the car is consistent. It has 14KM city(normal traffic) and 17-18KM long drive, Second gear shift is hard and is difficult in city driving conditions. The clutch becomes hard after 35000KM and had to change the clutch after 40000KM. I was told that most Santros have same problem.
Ride Quality & Handling Good driving comfort in long drives. Back seat is not good, so the car is recommended for a very small family :).
Final Words Good first time car, change car after 5 to 6 years.
Areas of improvement The design of Shock absorbers should be looked at especially as it is real challenge for indian road conditions. Should improve the comfort for Back seat passengers.

Exterior As this car is an economy and small family car, I don't really bother much about the exterior and looks, but they're still good enough considering the price we pay. As for the version I have (Santro Zing XO), the looks are pretty decent and far better compared to the initial versions of Santro.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are not quite luxurious. Space is Very good for 4 people and with little adjustment even 5 people can be accommodated (ofcourse, consider the size of persons also :)). The A/C controls for the rear windows are placed in the centre between the two front seats instead of placing them on the interior of the doors. I don't understand the logic behind placing them there. Each time a person sits in the rear seat of the car, the person has to search for the A/C controls in vain until I tell them where they actually are.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is excellent. Fuel economy is very good. My car gives me 14-15 kmpl in city with A/C and on highways it gives more than 16 kmpl. Even after 50K+ kms of driving, my car still gives me the same mileage and this consistency in fuel economy is the thing I like the most about this car. Gearbox is fine. I haven't had any problems with that so far.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good, though it can be a little bit bumpy for the people sitting in the rear seat. I have been to several long drives in this and the car is an excellent one for long drives as well. It's a veru sturdy vehicle.
Final Words According to me, this is the best car among all small cars with the price range in it's vicinity.
Areas of improvement Quality of shock absorbers, Interiors, more user-friendly placement of controls.

Exterior I fell for the looks, its improved a lot . Good Exteriors, headlamps, fog lamps, grill fills the beauty. Even though small in size dominating in the crowd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are good, but leg space is bit short, dashboard design has to be improved.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Epsilon engine rocks. performance is up to the mark, makes it well in the city traffic with short curves and slow moving traffic. it a pleasure to ride on the highway easily peaks to 100 kmph and stable ride. Mileage is also pretty good.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is smooth and handling is good in busy traffic, short curves. Gear box is soft like flower and clutch, breaking has seen lot of improvments.
Final Words Good value for money, Great car with super looks, good engine.
Areas of improvement May be improve interiors, make it more spacious.

Exterior It ish balanced in shape as per indian liking (Previoulsty Santro sahpe was having a janpenese lolk) and beautiful in exterior.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space inside is quite sufficeint in its segment, particulary its double fold rear seat which give a large room for any parcel to be carried. Only problem I found is the rear to fixed plastic netted space for speaksr which put some resistence in keeping big article inside like children byclyle when folded. Diving is very smooth and enough leg space give comfornt to driver.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very fine. Very nice. I never felt any problemc in 8 yers of my driving. Pick up is still lke when I got it new.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride is very comfortable and enjoying.
Final Words Any one who is plannig to buy a car in this segment, I recommed him for Santro Xing. for small family.

Exterior Good and trusted exteriors which are not too flashy or too old styled the new santro is a pleasent to the eyes.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Beige interior is difficult to maintain especially with the service centre people making it dirty with grease.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Trusted Engine, No Complaints at all.
Ride Quality & Handling The tyres that come fitted with the car is too thin. Doesnt allow you to do spirited drive, runs out of grip quickly. You can notice the same on highways when you speed above 90km/hr.
Final Words I had bought aq HYUNDAI Santro xing GLS from "SANSAI MOTORS NALGONDA ADDANKI ROAD ph:08682248666" i got tortured so much by the showroom that i am planning to sell car as soon as i get the registration so pleeesa people of NALGONDA A.P. if you want to buy a santro which a exellent car please dont buy atleast from the above mentioned Dealer, ,Thank You.

Exterior Conventional design however suited for middle age and senior adults not so much for young adults.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are not at all luxurious compared to Chevy beat or other cars in the segment eg wagon R,seating comfort is zero especially in the driving seat and quite hard,orthodox speedometers and odometers Hyundai can update them to keep up with the times.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Clutch assembly and clutch gets tight after a few 1000 kms and clutch is quite hard compared to other vehicles in the segment.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent and best to drive in crowded cities and places. Easy to park and ride.
Final Words If low on budget and to buy your first car ,santro xing is your best option else go for i20, i10 not so much. Seating comfort is a compromise.Best for people who are mindful of their wallets. Easy to drive, great fuel economy and service centres are well known for this car so any kind of service can be expected,easy to handle and smooth driving, though changing gear can be quite a menace due to hard and tight nature of the clutch. If a little more money can be spared, I would advise going for the chevy beat.
Areas of improvement Odometers and speedometer, seating and interiors can be made more comfortable.
