      First of all it's still a very popular car among budget buyers. Bought it at around 1.5 Lakh with very good Condition and CNG fitted. Servicing is available all over India and service cost is also reasonable including parts availability and pricing is also very affordable. Completed almost 1.5 lakh kilometers and still engine is in stock condition just oil , air and fuel filters changed. Still looks new due to high quality parts by Hyundai and if you take care properly it'll stay in good shape. Installed CNG kit and paid 300 Rs. for CNG for around' 200 km which is very economical. 2012 model still running fine and if you do service on time and drive carefully then it'll go on and on... I am happy with everything :)

      I had a Maruti 800 for 9 months and one day i happened to drive Santro Xing Erlx. I liked the smoothness of the engine and the front clear visibility (as a tallboy car). I owned that car -Santro Xk (Without AC and Power Steering) and driving the same last one year. I am getting 13.65 kmpl in city and 17kmpl in highway . I have driven this car in Chennai Bangalore Highway and also in Bangalore-Mysore Road (Best in Class), the drive is very smooth till 90km/h - 100 km/h. Suspension of the car is very bad, it really hurts sometimes. over 100km/h if you overtake any other car or Big bus (like Volvo), will feel little unstable while crossing. Its a car to be owned for city drive. A good car without features. The lower model comes without even left mirror. After a long drive in the car will make you tired. Hope to see more features and highway stability in future from Hyundai. Cheers......

      Exterior is very stylish with beutiful head lamp and tail lamp. Radiator grille is stylish in design. We choose Maharaja red with metallic paint. Colour is very beautiful. Car's shape is beautiful.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious and beautiful interiors. Large Boot space in the front and rear positions. Foldable rear seat is very useful.  Air conditioner is very much effective. Road is clearly visible through front and sides of the car from the driver seat.  Front Power windows are good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very silent in sound with marvellous pick up because of 1086cc. Gear shifting is very smooth. Engine area is very neatly arranged with clean finish with all security measurements.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable and controllable. Brakes are superb. We can control the car with easily. Smooth driving.

      Final Words It is best car to purchase for small family who wants stylish,comfortable and best in pick up. I recommend this car to buy.

      Areas of improvement All areas are satisfied. Rear power windows are missing.😎 

      Car is good in style. It's front disc brakes are very accurate. We can get good control on the car.No comment

      I have purchased Santro Xing XO three months back, this cars is very easy for the first time dirvers... the fuel economy is very good, I initally opted for Alto but I was lucky enough to go for Santro...otherwise I would have repented. Con: When ever we try to shift to second and first gears some times we hit the person in the passanger seat.Good Fuel Economy (14-15 kmpl in city ride & 18 in Long Rides), East to maneuvers, Easy parkingBad placement of gear -

      I have a 2 month old santro xing XL. It's a great car in all aspects, except for the fact that the gears should've been a little more in the front like the Zen. If you're moving to 5th gear,(especially for big people) it's a little uncomfortable as the gear is very close to the body. Also for those who are used to the zen, where you can keep your hand on the gear, in the santro the gear vibrates a lot as if you're in high revs!

      That's about it. other than that the Santro is THE best car availble. great power comfort and style it's amazing. I chose the Santro over Zen Estilo and the Wagon R.

      Exterior This is better leave up to readers since today when the industry is flooed with too many cars each individual have there own perspective. i personally judge the car by its performance, maintenance cost, FE & very important is budget I have 😊

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Again here I am 5.7 and daily commute alone to office so I will say this is too much spacious. However even on weekends I travel along with my wife, 1 year son and my mom n dad & is well suited for my needs. (infact this car is always suitable for my needs but no car is made yet which is suited for my greed).

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent pick up in this segment. this gives a ease comfort in bumper to bumper traffic in Pune City. Gears are like sliding a spoon on butter. FE is something which I am happy. I am getting a constant average of 14+ in City & 18+ in highways with 100% AC on. Once while doing a Pune- Thane-Pune-Thane-Pune trip in single day I have acheived a FE of 22 KMPL on xpress way without AC. This was done while my brother got transferred to Thane & helped him in shifting his stuff in Santro. This was after the 2nd Free service at about 8K on ODO. I wanted to check the maximum effeciency hence didn't switch on the AC & was driving at constant speed of 80-90 KMPH.

      Ride Quality & Handling Again ride quality is best at 3.80 L worth car. I myself have tried at speeds upto 120 on express way & other certain National Highways but found that above 100 you need to hold a force to get a stable steering grip. in short above 100 I do not recommend this tall boy to run unless you have a straight visible road ahead.

      Final Words I am happy with my move with Santro GL & now it has clocked 40 + K on ODO with only normal servicing charges. I have recently replaced the wheels with tubeless upsize (Michelin XM+) and set of alloys (Star spokes) which is giving a better grip on road.

      Areas of improvement The gear kno placements is acting like obstacle if a average tall person seats ahead. Basically the person has to sit in strict position without moving his right leg (Sawdhan position) 😊.

      Handling, mileage & almost allGear knob position & stability at speeds above 100

      I got it because it's a very low maintenance car, which had a descent ride quality. We can say that it's not that good in terms of looks. But when I knew that Santro xing production is closed. Nothing bothered me. And that moment I bought santro. It was never a hectic for maintaining or cleaning the car. And even servicing cost is not that much. Now talking about the Pros I'll say its rode quality, compactness. And when go for the cons,the main one is mileage,it's very less nearly about 12-14

      very sexy looking small car , it perfect suits to my profile I have a small suggestion to Hyundai Motors India Pvt Ltd. please make some more space for rear passengers , But overall this is very good car , it is better than I10 even . Now it is there in CNG & LPG also to save more money .

      Exterior I bought Santro XL e RLX - III car (2006 Model) two year ago..and it has covered 75000 km now. You woldnt believe that even today my car looks as new as year old car.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are so good and with a simple cleaning shines like new.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is still is very good condition even after 75 K run...excellent pick up with A/c on and I have been consistantly getting 13.0 kmpl on city roads with AC on and 17.00 on long rides.

      Ride Quality & Handling It has very good control even on high speends @ 100 km/h. but we would not feel safe after crossing 110 km/h speed as the engine starts generating some kind of harsh noise and even the steering also starts obling. So it is a good car @ > 100 km/h speed.

      Final Words Buy Santro and you will be a happy n proud owner.

      Areas of improvement Suspension needs a bit improvement.

       Perfect car for the city . I have driven about 1600 km - all of them inside the town and I am very happy about my choice. Many of my friends who had bought bigger ,spacious cars are now repenting their choices. My car does a cool 11 km per liter inside the city . What more do you want from an Automatic car ? 

      Less spacious. Basically a 4 passenger car.
