Exterior Looks good, Nice 18" alloys, some traces of Audi Q7 to Hyundai santro.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It's actualy good, better headand sholder room than the Fortuner, All functional required instruments there. Wood trim is much like real wood. Feels like a raised car from inside.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Engine- Nothing like it. More powerful than a PRADO, I took it from 0-100 in around 8.5 sec, No engine noise till revs uptill 3500rpms. went upto 140 in 4th (It has 6 gears) and its far better than any other suv in the range. The engine is the most refined diesel ever producing 90 bhp per liter. It's slightly better than the X!. Not to forget the ESP which makes u feel safe at any road condition

 

Ride Quality & Handling Handles good, better than endy or fortuner. The 4wd unlike fortuner gives a confidance on road even at very high speeds. Ride quality not as great as CR-V(But after loading CRV has no ground clearence at all)

 

Final Words With only limited to sale(300 per month aroundour country), Its not going to be a sight ever corner like the fortuner now, So resales must be good. Do not judge the car before testdrive. I'm much of a power oriented person. And Search for Santa Fe's Off road videos on youtube, and also go through reviews from other country. And As per my calculations.

Its 1.6x price of endy but

it has 1.7 times power

1.6 times the safety

and 1.6 times driveable top speed

 

Areas of improvement At that price, i would atleast want a option of sun roof. Better Sales 300 a month, I'm waiting to book it for 4 months now.
