let anybody see the car from the front, and he will definately think this is a biggggg car. Looks like Verna Fluidic from the front. Very good Styling. Nice rear light cluster. Nice lines coming from both the ends on the bonnet makes it looks very attaractive.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
List the features it has, and it will easily outsmart other cars in its segment. Even some costlier cars dosent have features what Hyundai offers. Rain sensing wipers, theatre dimming internal light, smart key, USB connectivity, Buetooth Connectivity, Fog Lamps, Steering Controls, Mind blowing power steering, electrically foldable side view mirrors, ECM type rear view mirror, 4 cup holders, cooled glove box, smart information display, auto climate control A/C., rear view camera, huh, it has got it all.......
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Nice engine, though it lacks that punch, but seems it is tuned for giving better average. Nice stability on the highways, and city manueveribility is awesome. can just take ur car to anywhere for parking. some what conerned abt the fuel avg. though. Gives aroung 10-11 km/lt. with A/c. but just drove only 300 kms. hope will give around 15-16 after the first service.

Nice ride quality but seems suspension lacks smoothness on bumpy roads, but nice to ride otherwise.
Final Words
must buy if u r looking for a city car, (though no problems on the highway). if u dosent require a boot space and sheer power go for this car.....

I bought i20 (MH01 BG1623) in February 2013 from Sharayu Hyundai Mumbai; within a year its engine broke down i.e on February 01, 2014 (Melting of ‘SKURT’ part in engine, due to rising temperature) near Pune and the car is still in the service center (Garve Hyundai Service Center, Vadgaon, Pune – Avinash, Service Manager) for warranty claim. This is literary a kind of harassment while dealing with Hyundai.
Today its 45th day and counting; I still have no idea when my car will be ready. I have called several times in last 40 days to customer care and service manager; but I feel there is no intent to provide satisfactory services to the customers.
My car broke down at Vadagaon near to Pune; I had no choice other than taking it to the service center. After all the discussion I handed over the car to Pune Service Center. They filed warranty claim within 5 days with Hyundai head office; and were waiting for all the approvals (as told to me by Mr. Avinash three consecutive approvals are required i.e. Pune, Mumbai and finally Delhi) to come before ordering the parts. Subsequently I confirmed with the Hyundai customer helpline (Sharafat – Mumbai); who told me that there is no requirement to obtain all the three approvals and parts can be ordered even after first approval is in place. This was to my surprise that two Hyundai people/associates telling me different things; I requested Sharafat to speak to Avinash and guide him about the process and order my parts. Finally, parts were ordered on February 07, 2014.
Till date, parts have not come to the service center as told to me parts have to come from Delhi head office to Pune; which I believe is a real repulsive policy. Whatever would be the case 5 weeks are more than enough to order/deliver/manufacture any item from one place to another in this World, provided there must be intent to provide such kind of service. I believe even Hyundai won’t be taking more than 5 weeks to manufacture a new i20.
I spoke to, Service Manager in Pune and Sharafat - Customer Care, both told me that some parts are not in stock and have been ordered to suppliers from head office that why it’s taking time. Being one of the major automobile player in this country, if you don’t have parts in stock or can’t order/deliver parts within 5 weeks; then providing services to customers is ofcourse a big question mark, and customers satisfaction will be unimaginable.
Also, I enquired in the market; that automobile industry provides back-up vehicle in case of warranty claims or engine break down. I checked for the same at Pune Service Center; they told they don’t have any back-up vehicle so they can’t provide. Then I called up Sharaft (Customer Helpline) and requested him to arrange for a Back-up vehicle till my car is in service and he told me that the onus to provide back-up vehicle is with Pune Service center; since my car is with them. It was certainly a shock that Hyundai quoting that the “Onus of providing the back-up vehicle is of Service Center where car breaks down and not of Hyundai”.
I really want to question this irrational policy; consider me driving my car from Mumbai to Chennai for a day work and my car breaks down in Chennai, and I give the car for repair to XYZ service center and come back to Mumbai after completing my work. Now I request XYZ to arrange a back-up car for me since my car broke down; will this be sensible that I first go to Chennai again from Mumbai to pick up that back-up car and drive back to Mumbai and use it for a month (with Chennai number plate and registration), and then again drive it back to Chennai from Mumbai to hand it over and collect my repaired car. I believe it’s surely a way of saying NO to customers.
In such a case, Hyundai can every time keep their hands up and say – that onus is on the Service center or dealer or some other party. However, I have purchased the Hyundai Car and not a dealer car; I have every right to ask Hyundai for my discomfort and harassment, it has caused me in this process.
I understand that it takes time to repair a car, but my question is more on the lapses in their system of arranging/ordering/manufacturing. When we talk of Hyundai, we expect that after sale services has to be prompt to their esteemed named in the market however my experience with Hyundai was not at all good to cherish and I would make sure that I and my near ones never buy a Hyundai product in future.
I have complained the above harassment to Hyundai on March 12, 2014, and to my surprise there has been no response from the Company.

This car has all the features that the new generation car requires, whether it would be bluetooth connectivity or BACK CAMERA.The interior is top class, you would feel like driving a luxery with you.The foot space is much making it feels as a sedan car. The front LED in sportz catches the eyes of peoples. This car is definatiely more then other hatch back cars like Swift,Punto,Brio etc.THE bluetooth function is awesome jst sit in connect your mobile n play any song you want without coping it in to CD or USB. The sound system is Fab......one can feel the virations inside in the half range of volume.The back camera is of very useful, you do not need to turn back while taking a reverse jst look in to the mirror, also to provides a sensor technology which detects any thing in the short range ane informs the driver.
jst one draw-back the car can have is the fuel economy which is 18 on highway and 15.5 in city. But as compared to the Facilities that ist gives, definatly this factor can be made of nigligible importance because the POWER SAYS IT ALL....:-).

Exterior The car looks like a sedan from the front end, Amazing hood lines gives it a muscular feel, Turn indicators on ORVM'S gives that rich feel to car, Back of the car looks good with nicely placed lights..Over all its a category leader in Design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The leg space, Head room is awesome as its the longest car in its segment, The interior looks rich and feels great. The leather wraped steering wheel and gear feels good to hold. Electronic OVRM's with heater is certainly a permium sedan category feature. Now I20 comes with reverse sensor and camera, wow!!! That feature is simply great to use, Praking in tight spots was never so easy for me. Bluetooth connectivity is another great feature, Electrocromic rear view mirror which doubles as display screen for reverse camera...Great!! Hats of to Hyundai. Lots more to say..but as of now, its just awesome!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performce is good, Not so responsive at lower reps, you really need to work thoes gears to get the best out of that 1.2 kappa2 engine. With full A/C the car engine respond like its on 5th gear when you are actually on 2nd gear...it takes ages to respond to acceleration...Gosh!!
Fuel economy?? Dont even think of I20 if fuel economy is your priority, It will burn a hole is your pocket...But yes its still value for money for amount of features it offers at given price.
Gearbox is smooth and feels good to hold.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good, It handles indian road perfectly. The car handeling is good even at high speed ( I tried till 120kmph), Overall its a nice car to drive.
Final Words If you want class, Practicality and good praises I20 is car for you.

Final Words I have a very bad experience and regrets of buying an I-20 Sprtz Petrol Version.
1) due to vehicle performance
2) More regrets buying from Sikka Automobile Pvt. Ltd at Mayapuri, New Delhi. They have poorest pre/post sales. PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THEM
CAR PROBLEMS
Now I am facing problem with my I-20 after running for over 1000 kms.
1. It does not have pickup, It does not climb a flyover in 5th Gear.
2. It feels, as if I am driving a second hand Maruti 800 car
3. Whenever you release your foot from accelerator pedal, speed drops like anything
4. I have to change gear frequently whenever I release accelerator.
5. While on congested traffic it does not run steadily in 2nd gear you have to move your car in 1st gear.
6. Vehicular smoke, foul smell of outside, pollution inside the car. It seems, as if we are driving with our windows open.
7. There is always a “THUD” sound comes whenever small pit comes under any of the tyre. It feels some part is loose and striking with chassis.
8. Outside body is very fragile.
9. Body paint is of so poor quality a small scratch takes out full paint.
10. Music system is pathetic.
11. No response/reply on complaining to Hyundai Motors India.
DEALER PROBLEM
Sikka Hyundai people are not concerned about your convenience, time and money. They are totally unprofessional and unethical.
Vehicle was delivered without explaining a single point about the vehicle operations. Bill received against payment are not matching, No explanation or answer to these differences. Nothing was explained about warranty/Guarntee.
Petrol slip was given for far off Petrol Pump (around 2kms away) instead of Pump 100 meters away from the show room. Car did not have petrol to run even 500 meters.
Registration of Vehicle it was surprising that there was no online registration. They will register your vehicle on their own convenience it could be 40 kms away from your residence like in my case I am staying in Dwarka and nearby authority is Janakpuri, they registered my vehicle in Wazirpur Authority, which is roughly 40 kms from my residence.
Nothing was explained how to get High Security Number Plate (HSRP).
Poor Hospitality.
They were not ready to send RC/ Extended Warranty to my residence and want us to collect from your showroom. They straight off refuse to give services. Sales staff is not at all committed to their saying.
If you really want to buy Hyundai please DON'T BUY FROM SIKKA HYUNDAI MAYAPURI NEW DELHI. I don't know these are actual problems with all I-20. So please don't go by looks and features buy some better car of reputed better service company.

I brought the car 3 months back and unfortunately met with an road accident last month. Response from Hyundai road side assistance is terrific and horrible. My phone is damaged and I managed to call them from other guy's phone and they made me call so many numbers and almost 3 hours got wasted in calls without getting any help. Finally the response from them is that first I need to get the car on the road since it went off the road and crashed on road side and then I need to call them after which they will tell me how much time it will take for them to send a vehicle and how much time it will take for vehicle to reach the accident place.Finally I've got fed up with them in that situation and brought the car myself after spending 25,000 RS from my own pocket which is not reimbursable again.And accident is so bad that car engine got damaged and all the body got structurally damaged after rollover and crash in high speed. But still the airbag didnot come up.As a car, I like my I20 very much but after all this experience I felt helpless with Hyundai after sales service. Now it is more than 1 month since I put my accidental car in Hyundai service centre by paying 250 rs for each day and still insurance work is not being taken care. And to my wonder , I got zero dip insurance cover but still they are saying there will be some depreciation and cut off charges in insurance process
