It has cool and dynamic styling.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The base model comes with good audio system. The space is good enough to accommodate up to 3 people at the back. The boot space is good. The adjustable steering is a good bonus but adjustable seat height would have been a good addition. The air conitioning is not as good as in other cars.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The engine originally designed for I-10 does not do justice to this car and cannot compare with Swift's engine. The gearbox is realy smooth. The braking is priety reliable. The fuel economy is not as expected in the city.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handling is awesome even in high speeds but the suspension brings the total ride experience down.
Final Words
There are other cars in this segment which are more competitively priced and are a good option than the I-20 magna. The looks and interiors of the car covers up the mess inside the hood.
Areas of improvement
Hyundai Chennai should improve the quality of supprt service offered.

Final Words I love this car. I will use it for 7 years. I would suggest people to buy this car. this car is a very good option and i think this car will be very successful by 2012. if u want to buy a hatchback then its best for u. its central locking is also very good. very spacious. many people likie this car.its a luxury car the car is awesome and everything in it is very good. people love this car and sportz model is very good. when I saw it in the showroom it looked really nice. the pick up is very good.

Exterior I feel style is very subjective. But i liked the design which is europian in nature.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort Interiors looks very stylish and rich. But reaching out to nrake, accel, clutch can at times can cause some discomfort.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is excellent and plain road acceleration is superb. This car can drive at 140 without much issues. Flip side is fuel economy. Hyundai should have gne with slightly better tyres ad should have increased ground clearance little more. If anyone can help me in improving mileage please suggest!!

Areas of improvement Fuel economy for diesel is not so good. I bought my i20 Asta (CRDI) for 8.5L On road for Bangalore. That seems to be slightly highly priced for a hatch. Ground clearance is not the best.. In rough roads you have to be very careful in passing bumps. Tyres used are appollo which are not the best. Should have gone for slightly better tyres.

I got my Magna 1.4 on Nov 20, I choose to take the delivery on 20112011(20Nov2011) because I liked the date and will not forget it as this is my first car.
Extremly happy with my decision to buy 1.4 engine because of the performance and efficiency. People who argue that the difference between a pertol and diseal variant is around 1 lac, I dont buy that. Firstly you get less power in petrol variant and mileage. Secondly why do you want to go for the same variant, instead you can choose the next lower version in dieseal.Third , you can get better resale value for diesel. Fourthy if you see the recent car sales, most of the buying is happening in the diesel section and so you do not get any discount.
Now here is problem I have, whenever I shift the gear from 1st to 2nd , I feel that the car shakes a bit, even the clutch padel seems to shake under my feet.Does any one have this kind of problem or this is just the way a car should be.

Final Words I have a very bad experience and regrets of buying an I-20 Sprtz Petrol Version.
1) due to vehicle performance
2) More regrets buying from Sikka Automobile Pvt. Ltd at Mayapuri, New Delhi. They have poorest pre/post sales. PLEASE DON'T BUY FROM THEM
CAR PROBLEMS
Now I am facing problem with my I-20 after running for over 1000 kms.
1. It does not have pickup, It does not climb a flyover in 5th Gear.
2. It feels, as if I am driving a second hand Maruti 800 car
3. Whenever you release your foot from accelerator pedal, speed drops like anything
4. I have to change gear frequently whenever I release accelerator.
5. While on congested traffic it does not run steadily in 2nd gear you have to move your car in 1st gear.
6. Vehicular smoke, foul smell of outside, pollution inside the car. It seems, as if we are driving with our windows open.
7. There is always a “THUD” sound comes whenever small pit comes under any of the tyre. It feels some part is loose and striking with chassis.
8. Outside body is very fragile.
9. Body paint is of so poor quality a small scratch takes out full paint.
10. Music system is pathetic.
11. No response/reply on complaining to Hyundai Motors India.
DEALER PROBLEM
Sikka Hyundai people are not concerned about your convenience, time and money. They are totally unprofessional and unethical.
Vehicle was delivered without explaining a single point about the vehicle operations. Bill received against payment are not matching, No explanation or answer to these differences. Nothing was explained about warranty/Guarntee.
Petrol slip was given for far off Petrol Pump (around 2kms away) instead of Pump 100 meters away from the show room. Car did not have petrol to run even 500 meters.
Registration of Vehicle it was surprising that there was no online registration. They will register your vehicle on their own convenience it could be 40 kms away from your residence like in my case I am staying in Dwarka and nearby authority is Janakpuri, they registered my vehicle in Wazirpur Authority, which is roughly 40 kms from my residence.
Nothing was explained how to get High Security Number Plate (HSRP).
Poor Hospitality.
They were not ready to send RC/ Extended Warranty to my residence and want us to collect from your showroom. They straight off refuse to give services. Sales staff is not at all committed to their saying.
If you really want to buy Hyundai please DON'T BUY FROM SIKKA HYUNDAI MAYAPURI NEW DELHI. I don't know these are actual problems with all I-20. So please don't go by looks and features buy some better car of reputed better service company.

It is a pure sesnsation to be driven in this car.
n i20 front seats are excellent with good visibility though a bit lower than Santro. I felt a little bit uncomfortable since I am very much used to Santro Xing which gives an excellent visibility plus driver seating comfort for me :). Driver seat is spacious and comfortable for my height. However, I would doubt if seating will be the same for people over 6 feets. They would certainly feel the seat to be upright, steering to be low and not very comfortable. However the good news is that the front seats are adjustable in many ways. So make sure you get the right adjustment before you drive. My thighs were slightly brushing against the steering wheel when I sat initially, later on I managed to adjust the seat and then it was comfortable. Even the streering is adjustable. However the comfort level is not the same with rear seats. The legroom space is just about enough for rear seats and unfortunately is just okay for kids. It would be tough for elderly people to sit comfortably since the rear seats are too low. Also, the rear seat is very upright and this may make long journey for the passengers at the back slightly uncomfortable. Middle portion has a bulge and it will be uncomfortable for the person sitting in middle. Hence I would call it a 4 adult seater vehicle instead of 5.

This is my first review of a car. The features that highlight i20 are comfort, style, safety, performance and fuel economy
Comfort: i20 has best comfort in its class, it is very spacious and has enough boot space for 3 to 4 days travel. This is a good family car for 5 people. Electric Motor driven steering is smooth as butter for no-stress-strain driveability
Style: Has the european niche to it. Taken cues from Skoda Fabia and Honda Jazz. Interior are truly a masterpiece, no cheap plastic work.
Safety: First time in India with 6 airbags in a hatch, ABS and EBD enhances the safety to it. But this comes at a price.
Performance: It is the same Kappa engine which powers the i10, has good torque and power to it. Refined engine for both city and highway driving.
Fuel Economy: Best in class fuel economy, with the new energy efficient engine technology with Euro V ready
Pricing: This is the place where it matters most, It gets deep into the pocket of the buyer. Is it worth spending on this car, then also quality comes at a price so its worth every penny to go for it.
