I10 - Car worth every penny spent

Its been more than six months since I bought my new Hyundai I0 from Modi hyundai showroom and let me tell you that I havent had a moment where I have not enjoyed sitting behind the steering wheel.

This was my first new car and therefore it holds a special place. Six months back after lot of deliberation i zoomed in on Hyundai I10. The main parameters that tilted my decision towards I10 were

1. Good compact exteriors 2. Cool Interiors 3. Hyundai's better known driving experience than MAruti and Tata's small car segment

Its been 4500 km and some of my observations of the car

1. I have driven this car on the Mumbai Pune expressway and it gave me a more than satisfying average of 16Km per litre

2. The AC cooling of this car is amazing.It can combat the Mumbai Heat in peak summer as well.

3. Spacious interiors. Five people can easily sit in the back of the car

4. My drive from home to office is approx 8 km oneway through peak traffic zone - Sakinaka. The average on those drives is something I am bit disappointed with - it gave me 8 km  per litre. But then I have tried changing my office route through a longer , lesser traffic zone areas and it gives me a decent 10km per litre on that. Kind of compensates for the longer distance that I trave

5. Smooth gear changing especially post 2nd gear. 1st and reverse can be a bit hard

6. Decent boot space

Finally Regarding the Dealer - I took my car from Thane Modi Hyundai showroom and believe me guys this team is really professional. Right from the day of my delivery to the servicing times, they have ensured I get the best experience.
