Till now I have driven roughly 11000Km and completed 2nd service very recently and following here some of my observations in city driving conditions.
1. With A/C switched on occassionaly, it has given mileages 14Kmpl to 16Kmpl and 22 Kmpl during long drive. So on an average it is giving me 15kmpl in city driving conditions. So may be after the free service it might improve is a hope.
2. The reverse gear shift was little hard and some times. This got fixed in my first free service. Now the gear shifts simply work great.
3. The engine is quite silent. You never know whethar its in the running or in the off condition. On a long drive with 4 people on board, the drive is really smooth and suspension is great. Long drives are enjoyable.
4. A/C is quite power full and keeps the car cool.
5. I have gone for extra warranty period so I have 3 yrs/60Km warranty for my car. You never know when the parts can go bad.

I have driven 15000kms in just 6months all over maharashtra on all surfaces. Express to no roads condition. i10 never disappointed me. With A/c on, it clicked 18-20kms/litre in full load as well. You do not get tired even after 300kms stretch. If you have a budget around 4lac, close your eyes and go for i10. Experience the Hyundai gearbox power and softness.

Dear friends,
I have puchased i 10 Sportz GLS 1.2 Kappa on this diwali. After that i just gone to sajjangad, wai, lonavala (Xpress highway) etc & i got mileage of 18.33. i checked this from full tank to full tank. For 550 Kms car taken only 30 lts. Total people 4 & 1 child (10 Yrs.) I was surprised with its performance. Speed for full trip is 80-90 & sometimes 100.
Previously i having Hyundai Getz 1.4. But this perform alsmost similar to my old car with superb looks & excellent pickup & milage.
overall one can go for this car as per my idea.
great fuel economy & best looksnot as such seen upstill now.

Exterior
Great design with a lot of appeal for a small car... maruti cars somehow lack the look/ appeal that i10 has succesfully established in a single stroke. The unique front lamp design is trendy & now also seen in a lot of big cars. The overall look of the car is contemporary & sharp. The rear could have been a little better as the Santro genesis is very evident.The rear wiper & defogger is quite a boon in the Delhi rains.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Good space, front seating is comfortable, the rear tends to get bumpy on high speeds.The tall boy design is optimized & better than a Wagon R.
The music system is good, the entire console has been done neatly and is well spaced however the reach to the controls is constrained if the driver seat is pushed back completely. The upper incline lever for seats is on the opposite side which is a welcome feature since you can manage the co passenger seat more easily esply if travelling with small kids.The quality of the seat belt needs improvement.
I have opted for the interior red pack that goes very well with the fiery red exterior colour; making the car look very appealing & well coordinated.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Sturdy engine, average feul economy but AT is a boon for Delhi traffic so not a big deal. The car zooms up but you do feel the constraints for power when there is a drop in speed due to sudden breaking. Overall a very smooth & perky drive.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is good, but there are the usual limitations of a small car. Handling is very smooth, I have done 120+ on Greater Noida Expressway no complaints whatsoever.Very stable at high speed.
Final Words
Great buy esply for women drivers like me since the AT is a big blessing, would strongly recommend to people who do a lot of driving daily. I do almost 100+ kms daily & dont feel the drive at all despite the delhi traffic peak hour driving.
Areas of improvement
The given model should have fog lamps since retro fitting the same isnt always desirable.

The Looks are good and indeed not much to comment in the review as everybody can see it for themselves.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Interiors are very spacious and definitely 2+3 is comfortable seating. as compared to wagon r and santro this car is very spacious.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
As i own the automatic transmission i would not want to comment on the manual gearbox but the automatic transmission is very smooth so far. Engine performance is also good but the mileage is only 10 kms / litre before the first service with A/C on. i expect the mileage to be above 14 and hope not to be disappointed.
Ride Quality & Handling
Easy to handle and fantastic drive. the car zips past in the D2 mode and the D mode is excellent to use as well.
Final Words
overall a excellent vehicle except the fuel economy but hope it will get better after the first servicing.
Areas of improvement
i did hear that the i10 is expected to come with diesel engine and better fuel efficiency. with Ritz diesel claiming 21 KMPL in diesel the i10 with 10 KMPL in petrol is really poor. If we can get the I10 with a diesel engine at the same price as the i10 petrol and with a 1.1 crdi engine we should be able to have a best seller car and i think it may also challenge the likes of indica etc.

only that, speed brekers or pot holes are felt too hard evn if u really slow down the speed.

Ride is bumpy, it shud improve with better tyres and shock absorbs. But thn it will b @ cost f milage.

Being government servant i was die heart fan of Maruti Suzuki (beacause of easily available service center as posting are unpredictable )
Initially i planned for Maruti A-star(vxi)( because of low budget). i found it a good car with fair power ,excellent looks with style a good choice for college student or newly married couple (as in my case) ,i was going to book d car but after seing d boot space i was disappointed .Moreover i found it bit uncomfortable for guys taller than 5 10".And personally i was not satisfy with power.
so i decided to increase my budget and then i hv four option Ritz(vxi)/Swift(vxi)/Beat/I-10 1.2 (magna)
i found Ritz a car with good power,fair mileage but however my wife didn't liked its looks especially from back, however i like its sporty look and recommended my brother for Ritz and they hv already booked it and getting delivery on 28 jun10.Swift i found it a good car with superb power of 87 bhp,spacious,but its mileage is disappointing, more over i found it bit dicey for learner(because of its greater dimension and invisible curves) and its look remind me of old Ambassador of my grand pa.
Being Government servent i kept Chevrolet veh at back seat but however i was highly influence by Beats Exterior ,so i took a test drive and i found that its AC was noisy and its pick up was same as alto or even less when AC is on. .
Last but not the least I-10 magna.Recently i have purchace I-10 1.2 magna and found Excellent power of 80 bhp( more than sufficient for me),good looks ,spacious ESPECIALLY boot space and leg space,gear are really MAKHAAN ( as soft as moving pen on paper),We drive down from Ghandhinagar to mumbai (after purchacing from showroom) its highway mileage was 17 (with 100% ac on and 13 -14 Km/l without AC in mumbai city) i m expecting an improvment in mileage after 1st and 2nd servicing,AC is effective ,tilt steering is one of best feature which is not available in any model of MARUTI SUZUKI ,free insurance was one of attractive offer which i availed
however rear seat of I-10 1.2 MAGNA donut hv head rest,i really donut know what is concept Hyundai personal hv used its really surprising and poor network of service center is really a matter of concern because it is not as wide ( interiors) as Maruti Have
Dont buy any accessory from Hyundai showroom it is Double/triple .Go to local market you can save more on same brand which are availabe in showroom.

Good and stylish look, good for city driving , not very good for country side driving because of less ground clearnce and noisy on uneven road.

Interior looks good , but less space for middle person on back seat if 3 people sit. dashboard reflect on front glass. less ground clearance.boot space acceptable, very good audio system and air conditioning and heater system.its good to have in built 4 speakers plus magzine space on door and cup holder are good.

Excellant. . Its really fantastitc to have brake pedal at higher level than accelrator pedal, POWER STERING is very good. Except at turning, not good control at high speed turning probabaly because of lack of ABS in this version.

I got a Champagne Gold 1.2 Magna.. The exterior looks beautiful.. It is Strong and the Curves at the Front gives it an elegant look. ALso the rear end completes the design.

Interiors are Very Comfortable.. Lot of space and headroom at the front. A liitle less leg space in the back seats. The AC is very powerful and cools the car in a matter of seconds.. The Controls are also easily mounted and very handy..
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The Unique palcement of the gears very close to the Dashboard gives a very handy feel while changing gears. The engine is cool and revs beautifully at the slight touch of the Accelarator.. Also there is absolutely no noise whoch comes from the engine to the inside. It is a smooth upshft whcih happens while Accelerating.. U will not notice when the car went from 40kmph to 100kmph. Car gives an efficiency of 13kmpl on Crowded city conditions and have been able to push to 17-18 kmpl on the highway driving..
Ride Quality & Handling
Superb Ride Quality. The Car zips across the streets with almost no challenge. Then it can be a crowded trffic infested street or an empty highway, climbing on the ghats or coming down the ghats.. The car has excellent control and reacts to even the smallest requests. Very good suspension takes car of almost all but the worst potholes without any discomfort...
Vibrations can be felt only at about 130kmph and higher.. Below that every speed is comfortable.
Final Words
This is the Car to go For.. Even if you are looking at small traffic infested distances or long drives during the weekends..
Areas of improvement
Small cars have the challenge of Smaller Rear leg spaces and Smaller boot spaces.. But Leg spaces are much bettter than the Santro and Swift. Also features like rear defoggers and rear wipers need to be introduced in the Magna too..

After comparing with Swift & Figo finally I select I 10 1.2, Magna. Vehicle performance is quite satisfactory & meets the expectation.
Good exterior look and probably best interior among the hatchbacks. Unlike Swift, rear sheets are quite comfortable with adequate leg room. Quality of plastic at dash board, AC grills, sheet pockets are very good. Front sheets, leg / head room is quite good, giving sedan feeling.
Quite & smooth engine, coupled with effortless gears shift and remarkable suspension makes long drive comfortable & very pleasant. 1197 cc engine in relatively light vehicle makes I10 best to maneuver in city drive and at the same time gives adequate power to excel on highways
Fuel economy is reasonable with 12-13 on city & 15-16 on highway with 100% AC on. Little compromise at fuel economy is acceptable as quality of ride & performance is far more superior.
Vehicle Tyre width is little less & Rear Bumpers are fancy without any strength to absorb jerks. Hyundai service stations are inferior in terms of quality of services and responsiveness.
Overall, its superior quality, value of money vehicle.
