Exterior Well-built, stylish and fluidic sculpt gives the nextgen i10 a glamorous look. The side mirror turn indicators is really a good feature.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The features of the interiors show innovation. Although it is less spacious than the other cars of its segment, one still can feel comfortable sitting inside. The comforts of the passengers are cent-percent guaranteed. Driving comfort is extremely high as it is a mid-size car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2 lt engine of 1200cc is a very powerful one. Infact it has the most powerful engine among all its competitors. The sellers promises mileage of 20.36 km/lt. But we normally enjoy 15-16 km/lt. the gearbox is very well-built and easy to handle.
Ride Quality & Handling Easy to handle and a great pleasure in driving. Gives a very high pick-up speed.
Final Words Stylish, comfortable sweet little car.
Areas of improvement Fuel efficiency should be greater. Though space is not a big factor still, it should be a little bit more spacious.

Exterior Good exteriors. and looks also.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nice interiors and quite sapcious nad dirving comfort is appreicable as no backpains after continious 4-5 hrs of drving.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is commendable no abnormal behaviour. Less in fuel economy. Gears are hard and needs efforts for reverse gear.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good. Handling of car okay. As I drove through the worst roads of jharkhand jungles. Where roads are alomst vanished. only ditches. But the car didnt had any problem.
Final Words I purchased the new I10 in march 2011. since then its plesaure in driving as I sharpened my driving skill in it only. Its worth buying if u neglect it fuel econmy otherwise pleasure in driving. I drove it alomst 2200 kms in 1o days. Absolutely no pbolem with the car. only it costed me 7000 rupees of petrol.
Areas of improvement Fuel economy. And new digital fuel gauge is little bit doubtful as its each bolck depicts how much of fuel.

Exterior When I bought this car the exterior could be appreciated. now with the new cars coming up, it need to improve the exterior. also a great part of it is fibre so be careful and don't dask.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is constrained for 5.4 is good and decent. boot space is not great though not bad.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Impressive engine. the pickup is good and frankly speaking 1.2 engine is really peppy when you drive in the city roads as well as go through the expressways. i have done a Pune-Mumbai, Pune-Mahabaleshwar and Pune-Aurangabad and was impressed. city roads in pune are not bad so it was not an issue to drive. Gearbox has always been very impressive. AC is good and powerful but rear people have issues with the air flow not reaching them immediately. Doors don't close smoothly. i have driven around 22k and i get a mileage of 16 in the city(with less AC) and a mileage of around 18 (with ac) in highways. i do a servicing every 10 months.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good and it is very easy to drive through and negotiate in small towns and busy roads. The headlamp is though a less powerful. on bad roads be careful and drive slowly but till now i have not hit the bumper in unexpectedly bad road. again it depends from driver to driver. but one thing is sure- one hit from even a cycle and you might get a dent or deep scratch as most part is fibre.
Final Words Will recommend to people who are driving at most 4 people. need a "peppy" car and want low maintancne and good mileage. I have not checked on the spare parts but i heard that they are easily available. Hyundai has made effort to keep the prices in check for spare parts.
Areas of improvement Boot space surely and AC vents if possible in the rear. A bit more stronger body is desirable but then that might bring down the mileage.

Earliar i was using MRAUTI 800. I purchased i10 Hyundai Kapppa 1.2 two months back. The Exterior of car are good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The Interiors of car are also good. The side mirror adjustment feature is good. The four power windows are good . The power steering is also a good feature.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Very poor. It only drives well with lots of gear changing. Otherwise it acclerates less with full power . I think this is the only reason where the gear indicator is provided in the car. Fuel economy is also very poor. The gearbox is smooth in comparison to other maruti cars. The fuel consumption per liter is 9 km/l.

Ride Quality of the car is goo. The Handling of car is also smooth
Final Words
After driving i can say that the decesion to buy this car is not a good idea.Not a wise thing to buy. It is better to buy a maruti car.

Exterior With hexagonal grille at front and well rounded proportions, it looks beautiful. Its a very proportionate car for its size. Turn indicators on OVRM's add spice to the overall looks. width is small frmo outside, very useful for navigating in heavy traffic zones.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors definitely belong to a sedan segments. Better than any competetive cars from a segment above even. Very soft plastics, durable and excellent value for money. Day night mirror etc from base 1.2 variants
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Butter smooth engine,Even after 24,000 kms in around 1.8 years, no rattles from car and excellent performance from engine. 3rd gear is what all you need ever driving this car. Mileage in city comes around 12 and on highways i constantly get 19-20 with 50% a.c. for both city and highways. very smooth and refined engine with excellent low end torque, you need not rev the engine till above 2000 rpm for performance, you have it all the way, as soon as you start the engine.
Ride Quality & Handling Its only achilles heel, it suffers from bouncy ride on uneven roads. Only ONE technique to avoid this, ride SLOW on uneven surfaces and car handles well. Ride quality is amazing, very soft suspension aided by high profile tyres.
Final Words Excellent car and most value for money car in the segment. If you need a petrol car, look no further than i10 from Hatchbacks available in India. NO swift, yes its doesnt have low end torque capabilities of i10. Hyundai next gen i10 has got best power to weight ratio and it pulls of very easily than most other heavier hatchbacks.

All,
I purchased my i10 Magna Kappa2 in May 2011. Just after running 3000 KMS i noticed that the car engine was making a bit of knocking/rattling sound in 3rd and 4th gear. This was not in low RPM.
I checked with Trident Hyundai in Bangalore and they serviced it 4 times but the problem was not resolved. I then took the step of going to consumer court and then I got a response from the service manager that a person from Hyundai Motors, Chennia named Shiva Kumar wants to take a lookat my car. Post the inspection, he said that the car head seems to be blocked and that the fuel lines should be checked. They took the car and opened the upper part of the engine, cleaned it and delivered it after 5 days. The problem looked resolved. I then ran the vehicle for sometime and the car has not run 12000 kms and the problem has come back. This time on straight roads when the car is in full speed.
I took the car to the same Trident and they are saying that it could be problem with the ECM and they are suggesting me to upgrade the ECM Version (which they are going to do free of cost). I am literally paranoid with this. New car, and all sorts of problems. I read a lot of people with the same complaing on i10 Kappa2 VTVT.
I wrote to Hyundai India but they are lame ducks and are not ready to reply.

Exterior It is real eye-catcher and I am proud of my I-10.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Descent interior, Dashboard is very attractive with sufficent space for mobile, etc. Its interior gives feeling as it were sedan. Gear is nicely placed and very easy to handle.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is almost soundless when sitting inside with closed window. Its aerodynamic style is useful in zigzag riding in busy streets of Allahabad. You can control it without using break in traffic. Gearbox is like mukkan. As far as fue economy is concerned, I am not very much bothered in city because it is giving me 11 kmpl in city which is almost similar in all petrol cars but in highway I am getting 17-18 km without AC and 15-16 km with AC. I drove my I-10 on even 120 km to judge its performance but friends, it was smooth like on 40's, without shaking.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is uncomparable and three persons can easity sit on rear seat without complaining of space laxity. Driving comfort is awesome, just press the accelator lightly and enjoy like a king. Gear shifting is smooth.
Final Words I have gone through car related web-site and after a R&D of 3 month and test drive of Maruti Vagon R, Spark and Hundai EON, I finally brought I-10. It was a wise decision. Some people complain about its FE but if you drive your car below 1000 km, prefer petrol car and in the segment of 4.5 Lacs, I-10 is still best in class. In cities every car gives a average FE and even Maruti is not exception. Car performance and driving pleasure is not comparable with any car of Maruti. Those are far behind. One who is desirous to purchase in a budget of 4.5 lac, must go for I-10 and he will feel it like Sedan.
Areas of improvement Headlights are not so effective, especially on highways. Clutch is hard and needs to be improved.

When I bought the car, I made a thorough research about the car on internet. I didn't miss any single review about it. So I am surprised or shocked by the performance of the car after I started using.
Hyundai started its journey in India with the Santro and the i10 seems to have taken it forward from where the Santro left, I knew the pros and cons of the car. For this price this is undoubtedly the best car. Ofcourse there few cons for this car, but every car have got its own cons and we need to take a balanced decision considering both the good and bad aspects. making way for this very car. Great buy.

Exterior Like the exteriors, best of the lot amongst the segment. There a quite a few colours to choose from as well.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fair enough features for a small car. Did a 200 kms drive once and a couple of days later I was in an 'Ayurvedic' clinic for a back massage. Space is comfortable for 4 people and 1 small child. I would not travel more than 10 kms on this car whilst on the back seat with other 2 adults beside me.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I bought this car whilst I was in the city but since I started using highways more frequently I can feel the need for a bigger and better engine. I feel like a turtle on the road in this

Final Words Good for short family trips. More like a ladies car as far as I am concerned. My wifey likes it so I am going to give it to her and buying myself a Rapid or Vento
Areas of improvement FE is really poor. I understand I own an Automatic version but still considering the lack of power you would expect atleast 12 kmpl mileage when company is claiming 15kmpl. I get 8kmpl even on my Prado overseas. For i10 I get only 9.5kmpl !!!!!

Final Words Its a cool car to drive. Very comforatble for city drive and espacilly for ladies its too good car. but it get negative making for its mileage. The mileage as indicated if compared is too less.
Areas of improvement Hyundai in my views should work on mileage for automatic transmission cars. the mileage is too bad. As per service team the mileage is good but actually the mileage is worst. I was told the mileage would be 15 km/ltr, but its less than 10 km/ltr. It has a good space for legs while driving. Its get only disqualified while comparing it on prices. overlal if we see its ok car, good to drive, manover is smooth, comfortable for a small family. Sunroof gives and added advantage.
