Exterior Simply Superb, Good Aerodynamic design coming with attactive colours. In sportz model the Electric Red is simply excellent.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent interiors with beige color. Good space in leg room. Excellent seating (height) when compared to all other models in this segment. Coming with very powerful AC.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
1.2L Kappa Engine is very smooth to handle. There is Zero noice inside the car. I am getting 18.75Km/litter in city driving with 100%AC. The Gear shifting is very smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. Handling is very easy with excellent power steering.
Final Words Simply Superb. This is People Car (All my friends & relatives were opposed me to buy this car because they have an opinion of low milege. But in practical it is giving more than expected)
Areas of improvement Additional features can be added for this cost. (Ex:- Fog lamps, Remote lock & etc.,). The sound quality of integerated Audio player is very bad. This needs to be improved.

Improved interiors with dual colours, comfortable drive, less space on rear side, good that power mirrors introduced in Sportz model
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine performance is very good, Fuel average is between 10-12 in City with AC on, while 14 with AC off...Highway average with BPCL fuel gives an Average of 17 with AC on and 19 with AC off..
However Hyndai vehicles gives excellent average with IOCL fuels and BPCL fuels...All Hyundai users pls try it...you will notice the change...
Ride Quality & Handling
Superb riding, good suspension, Excellent driving comfort....drivers should see the RPMs while changing the gears in AT, it should not exceed 2000 RPM while accelerating...or else the average shall go down...
Overtaking is not at all a problem....press the accelerator fast and the vehicle zooms...Hilly area ridings is not a problem...can climb in D mode need not put in 2...
Final Words
New VTVT technology has surely improved the AT vehicle performance...it is really a value for money

I am writing third review of my i10 Magna 1.2 Kappa2 after completing 10K KMs in last 10 months and completing 2 Services.

I got the second free service done on 4th May 2013 from Authorised Hyundai Service centre. They charged me Rs. 1060 for Oil change and some work on Filter (with taxes). The car is running butter smooth as of now. There was some viberation coming from the RVM, they did rectify it but it has come back again. I got a call yesterday from the hyundai service centre asking about the feedback of the service. As all my concerns were taken care of, I gave them 9 out of 10. She also asked me, If I would like to make any complaint with regards to any issues, I said no. I was attended properly by the rep. before and after the servicing was done. Now, I have been advised to visit them when I have reached 20k KMs.
Now that I have driven 10K KMs, I am in better position to comment on the overall performance of the car.
Talking about the FE, which is the most important concern for all of us. It is a cause of concern while driving in City. The FE on petrol comes out to be around 13 and on highway, it gives around 16-17 on AC which is fairly decent keeping in mind the 1200cc engine. Though there is CNG fitted in my car, I run 20% on petrol and 80% on CNG. There is hardly any power loss with CNG and I have driven @ 120 KMPH with 5 people onboard and fair amount of luggage and it doesnt disappoint you. I get around 18 KM/KG in city with 50% AC and around 23 KM/KG on highway on CNG. I paid 60K extra at the time of purchase for CNG kit and I will be able to recover the cost by running 20K Kms.
Engine performance: Engine performance is satisfactory. It respond well in city and on highway. I don't drive too fast. My average speed is 80-90 KMPH on highways so not too obsessed with high pickups even in the city as I drive smoothly and not rashly.
Earlier, I thought about buying Diesel car but as I stay in DELHI NCR where CNG is readily available, I decided to go by CNG and the running cost is around Rs. 2 per KM in city and around 1.75 per KM on highways which is same as running a two wheeler today.
Comfort and Space: Car is decent enough for 5 passengers and the drive is comfortable. Due to the soft suspensions, the passengers at the back face some problems at bumps, if the speed is not less. Gear transmission from 1st to 2nd gear and vice versa is little hard else gear shifting in other gears is very smooth. Not sure whether this problem of gear shifting from 1st to 2nd gear is with me only or with all the i10 owners.
The only advise I would give to my fellow members who have installed CNG kits in their vehicles or are going to install, they should get it fitted from the best retrofitter in the town even if they would need to shell out few extra bucks, but it would be worth spending them as the safety aspects would be taken care of by experienced retrofitters and you would not need to pay them visit too often.

Exterior Dear friends / Car is Good and their hospitality is also very good. I was the user of lpg 1 10 era that i sold out due to company poor / mono poly / policy regarding spare parts.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I visited Handuai agency kaithal for service of my LPG vapouriser. They told me that two rubber of vapouriser have to be replaced [ whose cost should be approximately 200/-] But they told me that company do not supply rubber , whole part [ gas vaporiser whose cost is 23000 ] to be replace. After one year again rubber will have to be replaced [ it mean 23000 rs again ] Are you agree with. So be alert company can cheat you in this way . So keeping in mined the future of my vehicle 1 10 era I sold out on the same day just in one hour.
Car is good but compny polcy regarding Spare parts is Bad . I was the user of LPG 110 era andspare parts not availabe . you have to change completeइक्सटीरियर/स्टाइल्स

The car is great in ride with very good power steering and suspension. The TILT Steering also enhances comfort however the headrest should have been detachable.
It would have been a best seller if the engine had some more power. The car runs well on highway and delivers good fuel economy but may run out of steam on hill ride with full load and AC on.
Initially i was thinking of going for Maruti swift Lxi and was really impressed with the power it carries, but the interior and fuel economy let it down in comparison to i10. Also i thought for how long one needs power , in city driving i10 fares better over swift but on highways swift is obviously better. Bottom line - one had to drive in city 28 days in a month and only 2 days on highway. So i went for i10 Era.
Have driven 2000 kms with no complains at all, engine is so silent that u get mistaken sometime if it is actually on.
Good build quality and finish. Thumps UP to Hyundai...!

i bought a i10 magna in january 2008. the car has done only 2800 kms. while going out of town (to karnal from delhi) on G.T karnal road driving at speed of only 20 km/hr in heavy traffic the car suddenly brock down, i discovered dat there was no connection between gear box and engine.(it means dat d car remained neutral in all gears). as a result d car stopped in d middle of d road. i called d Hyundai OnRoad Service, n d company's guys were there within an hour. the car was towed to d nearest Hyundai workshop. they inspected it n found dat front axle which drives d car has failed due to some technical fault. d front axle and d clutch assembly of d car has been replaced n now d car is running fine. All expences were paid by d company as d car is still under warrenty.
Hyundai's on road emergency service is one of the best.
But still d question arises dat how can such a major fault occur in a brand new vehicle??? wat more can happen after using this car for some more time?? is it safe enough to take this car on long drives?????

I bought this car in Jan 2009. It has been a very satisfying
ownership till now. The gearbox is awesome smooth and precise, its a
pleasure changing gears. The engine is very refined. the quality of
interiors is truely awesome and best among all others in the segment,
even better than that of swift.
However I found out one fault when i took the car on the highway. There was a little unwanted vibration in the accelerator peddal at high speeds. I will take the car to the service center and get to know the cause of the problem, but i'm sure there is some issue there (under the bonnet).
The car is awesome in terms of looks, driving feel, space, quality of interiors etc but it is a little expensive when you go for upper models in search for better features. The model I bought, ERA, has no features at all. I was surprised that it doesn't even have a RPM meter. Only AC is not good enough !!!
All in all better than A-Star (much much better), WagorR, Santro, Zen Estilo, (Fabia and Swift in terms of value for money but its not exactly compatable with them)Good fuel economy, Good style, good engine qualitylittle expensive for the features you getइक्सटीरियर/स्टाइल्स

Looks Exterior : Amazing! Great job by Hyundai. Looks a bit Honda Civic-ish from the front. Rear is a bit ugly.
Looks Interior : Extremely good. The beige interior is the best in class. You will fall in love at first sight.
Comfort : Easily accommodates 5 Adults. Adjustable steering is a big plus for tall people.
Engine : 1.1L with 67 bhp. More than enough for city ride. Little underpowered in highways. Pick up is less with 5 people with AC on, ie the car won’t start off after a speed breaker at 3rd gear.
Breaking : Pretty good, but could have been better. My model does not have ABS.
Power steering : This is one of the smoothest steering I have ever seen. Hair pin curve can be negotiated with a single hand. A big big advantage.
Air Condition : Too Good. You feel the chill instantly.
Mileage : 15kmpl in city-20% AC. 20kmpl in Highway-100% AC.
Top speed : 145kmph.
Gear : Awesome positioning of gear. Shifting is smooth. No issues.
Clutch : Major drawback. Point clutch makes it difficult in heavy traffic. Clutch has to be released at the exact point, failing to which engine goes off.
Dashboard : Instrument is at the right position with several indicators.
Head Lamps : Bad. Extremely bad. 12V lamps without fog lamps are just not enough for night ride. I struggle even in city ride. Highway night ride in i10 ? No. I won’t risk that.
Front Windshield : Major Disadvantage - The beige interiors reflect on the windshield during day time. Sometimes it becomes nearly impossible to drive under trees where sunshine falls in a random manner on the windshield. Hope Hyundai fixes this.
Suspension : No issues. Humps are easily negotiated.
Boot Space : Little cramped. Just not enough for a long drive with 4 Adults.
All in all a good release from Hyundai.
Price : 4,13,000 INR - Annual Road tax payment( 800 INR per year )
