Exterior
It looks uperb. Front is good but its the tail which steals the show. Much better looking than boh i10 and i20.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
This is a feature rich car. Top end comes with bluetooth connectivity, 1 GB inbuilt memory, Keyless entry, remotely Foldable mirrors and rear SC vents. I highly appreciate electrically foldable mirrors and blutooth hands free as these make the life easy while driving. Car has adequate space and sorts out problems related to leg and boot space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine is super silient but lacks the power on low RPMs. Its low end torque is poor as I had to face many haults admist busy traffic but once it starts rolling it performs flawlessly. Fuel economy is superb. I am getting 13+ KMPL in city and 18+ on highways. On an average I drove 610 kilometers on a tankful (42 liters) which totals out to be around 15 KMPL overall. Gearbox is very smooth though it has slight glitch for the reverse gear.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is superb I must say.It beats both i10, i20 and any other car in it's segment hands down. Handling is also very good. My only complain with this product is power steering getting stiff. Initially it was butter smooth but now it feels stiff. Dont know whether hyundai will fix it or not.
Final Words
Over all a great product. initial batches did suffer from battery drain issue but that is now sorted out.

I have brought Grand I 10 Asta pertol in March 2014.
Battery drain was the first problem I faced & my dealer took it next day & returned the same back after charging it a day after. I dont know what Hyuandai is doing about it.
Second issue I faced was blower is getting switched ON on start up of Car. Problem has not been resolved by Hyuandai Dealers/ Service even after 1 week of complaint quoting non avaliability of spares for rectification.

Never buy Hyundai grand 10 Asta AT car. After running 3 to 4 km, it's engine gives noise on acceleration. You can compare the noise with manual driven car when someone try to .accelerate the car in higher gear at lower speed. It's clearly design issue as this issue is there in other grand I10 automatic version as well. Car has been sent to workshop twice but no solution. I was told to drive for some more time and inform the behaviour of car? One needs to ask question to MD of Hyundai whether he would ever buy such car! I am confident the answer will be a Big NO! I am not sure of fate of the car, buthief not satisfied, will have to go in litigation.
So beware of buying this car.

The car looks very nice from the outside, this being top of the line model. What was most surprising discovery was the generous rear legroom in a car of this size. There are of course, the rear AC vents and rear charging port. The seats are large and give you a full thigh support. I like the large glove compartment with cooling. Music system with hands-free Bluetooth phone integration is modern although the speakers are just about okay. I like the fact I do not have to remove the key from pocket ever. I am getting addicted to this feature.
Despite being automatic, the car is zippy. It is easy to pass a truck by pressing down hard on the accelerator (down shifting). Handling is okay and feels tentative. Part of the reason could be small and narrow tires.
I have a few complaints. Foremost is that the fan is noisy even at the lowest speed. I hate fan noise, and mostly like to keep the fan at lowest speed. But in this car it is still noisy (air noise). Secondly, the seat has very little cushion. Third, the intermittent wiper does not have variable speed. Fourth, the fuel efficiency (city highway traffic) is poor. After 4 months, 4000 km it is giving about 12 kmpl. Fifth, there is no small closed compartment where one can keep some money hidden from view for toll etc. (but I like large bottle compartments in the doors). Another problematic feature is that as soon as you turn the airflow to clear foggy windows it switches on AC and the flow to outside air. Both are the most efficient way to clear the fog. I do not mind the AC, but in my NCR commute outside air means that the car gets filled with fumes or dust. I have to keep remembering to change the flow back to inside circulation, which in winter means many times in one hour commute.
I also did not like the fact the Hyundai does not have faith in their AT technology and refuse to offer third year extended warranty.
