I have purchased new GRAND-I10 SPORTZ CRDI Engine on 30th Dec, 2013. I travelled 978 km happily. After 55 days, i have given my vehicle for servicing at your authorised show room. After teflon coating and anti rust coating, they observed that carrier and inter cooler has damaged. I surpirsed that there is no accident occured, i have not felt any jerks during my travel, how those parts are damaged. During 2 months i enjoed very much with this vehicle. Why the comapny has produced the delicate parts for this nice vehicle. For replace those parts minimum time taken your company is 15 days and unexpected expenditure is Rs. 25000/- My sincere advise to HYUNDAI company, produce strong parts which is likely to be damaged for indian roads. I never expected this type of experience with great HYUNDAI company. My friends and family members are using so many vehicle from HYUNDAI company. Kindly take my feed back in positive manner.

Exterior Good, not Excellent compare to new models of i20.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent, it has nice featues and apt for my family.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent, driven 500+ kms and has very nice experience overall.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent.
Final Words Best car i used ever, its best car for family of 5 members. It has got very good drive control in curves and turns. Love to drive in grand i10.
Areas of improvement Infortion system can be improved, folding back seat could have allow more space.

Exterior
It gives good mix of i10 and i20 in styling. Thankfully, it has Reverse Gear Lamps both sides, which were missing in i20 (it had only 1 side Rev Gear Lamp, a cheap cost cut). Most of Hyundai cars now look alike. i10 Grand has thus familiar looks.

AC Vents for rear is very good innovation by Hyundai, which soon other carmakers will definitely follow in budget hatch backs. Cabin space is more of less like i10, Santro marginally lesser than i20, Swift OR Tata Vista
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Hyundai went wrong here. 1.1 Litre Diesel is sheer under-powered and when AC was switched On, engine looked nervous (AC has to push air via rear vents also, i.e. additional power needed). 1248 Diesels in Maruti, TATA and Chevrolet cars easily beat this. Also Ford Figo and LIVA with 1.4 Ltr Diesel are way better for highways specially with AC On.
May be later HYUNDAI gives atleast VERNA's 1.4 Dsl OR 1.6 Dsl later on (engine bay is more fit for 1.4 Dsl)
Ride Quality & Handling
handling, Ride should not be an issue, but due to poor power, driving pleasure lacks. Without AC Feul economy is around 20, but with AC the engine tires and consumes feul, it drops to 14 and with hard pressed for speed, it falls to 10..!! Such variation is not felt in competitions' cars with bigger engines 1248 Cc cards give feul efficiency of 15-20

Exterior very attractive, an eye catcher, good aerodynamic shape, rear design is out standing, fog lamps well placed suiting the design. USP of the car the design of the Alloy wheels blending with the car design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The best part of the car, very attractive interiors, feel of a premium class car, with good finish, good ergonomically designed seats comfortable for long drives, ac is very effective cools the car in minutes. steering has a good feel and good positioning, rear leg room and head room is good, hyundai has managed to provide good boot space. seat fabric could have had a more premium finish.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good responsive engine silent, fuel economy 14.5 in city, gear shifting is very smooth with short throw and positioning of the gear change lever.
Ride Quality & Handling Good ride quality and handling.
Final Words Good car value for money,an alternate option for swift.
Areas of improvement Reverse camera could have been incorporated, seat fabric a moor premium quality to be provided.

Exterior Its been 3 weeks since I have received my i10 magna and it ha been great. I cannot count how many people have apprcited the car. Especially the color, mine is wine red. The fluidic desicn just captures attention. The back hood has bee designed really well. It marks the difference between i10 and the grand. From the back the car looks just awesome.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fantastic interiors, It is spacious and great foot room. both the front and back seats have good leg room and it makes driving a pleasure. Boot space is really good and boot space light is a good feature.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox So far I have just loved the drive and the performance of the vehicle. The gear box has some slight roughness transitioning to a few selected gears but over time it should smoothen out. The Kappa 1.2 engine is excellent
Ride Quality & Handling Brilliant. Smooth, At the time of writing this my wife is 7 months pregnant and I live in an area with not so good roads. Her feedback is that it is mighty smooth than our previous rides.
Final Words It was a tough choice to go for a grand i10 as there were not many in my friend/family/friend of friends circle who had i10 grand but the looks and the features were pulling. My family has stuck to maruthi since the beginning. It was not easy to move away from maruthi. People told me that maruthi maintenance is cheap, maruthi is made for indian roads, you gt a service centre anywhere. Since I travel alot by road with my family I wanted to stick on to these points. But as far as I have seen Hyundai is no equivalent in service and maintenance.Getting a 1200 cc car which is bigger than the i10 and priced lesser than the swift and ritz were pulling factors. Comapared to the Era version the magna had a host of features added just for 20k. So I went for the Magna. NO regrets and very happy with it.
Buy the car from a well established dealer who has a good service facility. I was adviced this from one review in Carwale where the gentleman had to go back to the service station multiple times due to inexpertise of the service executives and work men
Areas of improvement Fog Lamps I find are more like parking lights, Just add to the stlyling but not very effective. Factory installed horn is weak and I will definitely have to get that changed. Car accessories were not available (Mysore) and even now are hard to fid. I still have not got my mud flaps and floor mats(basic stuff).

I have purchased Grand i10 Asta (O) variant on last December, 13 and driven around 1500 KMs..
Exterior
The look of the car is very nice..Hyundai is always good in exterior styling..
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Feature wise .is is clearly ahead of it's competetor like swift, Polo etc. key less entry, Strat/stop buton,auto folding mirror,cool glove box, lot many sensors like Seat belt warning, Key out warning and many ohers.
Space wise it is very comfortable. 3 Average size people can easily adjust at back seats. Front spece is also good. Only issue, there is no adjustable head rest at the front seats..
The AC cooling power is very good..within some second it will cool inside..
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The engine performance is very good..its peppy and responsive. The gear box is very smooth. I had taken the test drive with Swift..the gear was not so smooth as like Grand i10. This is my 1st car..and I am quite happy with my cars. Milage is around 11-13 with AC on in city condition.
Ride Quality & Handling
smooth riding. Handling capacity is more than the i10 and i20. May be in handling..it is a step back from its rival swift. Easy driving in city condition.

Value for money..small car with all required features...makes you feel like driving a costly car.

I love the looks. Especially from the back side.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The car has very good interior quality. The blue and white LED lights look cool especially at night. The steering feels great and all the controls are quite handy. The call quality is very nice too. Now, I never miss a call while driving. The interior space is a lot better than the cars of this size. The rear AC vent is so so but, something is better than nothing. AC is quite powerful even at level 1, never had to use level 2 yet.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
It has very good pickup till 4th gear which lets you go at 100km. Unfortunately, I rarely get a chance to use 5th in the city. But, I think it goes out of breadth at 5th gear.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handling is pretty nice, very much like Swift. Ride quality isn't that great as I feel a lot of bumps due to stiffer suspension. But, it's not a problem for such a small car.
Final Words
I don't regret the decision at all. I have driven it for 1000 kms now and I just love it. Highly recommeded diesel car. Not sure about the petrol version.

Speakers and horn should be of better quality.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Cool. compared to the previous cars I had and recently Maruti Swift Zxi, where the Body was too heavy for the engine causing initial shivering/vibration of the whole car while taking off after stoping in slopes as I live in a very hillt terrian state of Mizoram.

Areas of improvement As mentioned above a company of such repute providing a steel wheel spare tyre was very disappointing, it needs to replace the spare Steel wheel with an alloy tyre. In fact, I searched the whole market for replacement of the spare steel wheel for a similar Alloy wheel design but failed. I would like to let the Hyundai people know that I bought a Maruti Swift Zxi in Dec 2005 where similar spare steel wheels were provide but was replaced by alloy wheels by February 2006. Hope Hyundai could do the same. Please let the Hyundai people read this review.

Exterior Its is styllish and grabs a second look while on the road. Especially the front look is magnificient and sometimes gives a feel of being an i20. However the Rear looks a bit small and conjested from outside. The curves and the fluidic design is awesome and attactractive.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) High quality material is used when it comes to dashboard plastic or the doors. The dashboard is nice and user friendly. Steering controls are fabulous .. the bluetooth, the music controls are great. The overall interior gives a feel of a big car. Its spacious compared to its other counterpart. I am delighted with the interior of the car. Since whoever sits inside the car give an appreciation. Intenally its very spacious. 5+1 is easily possible, 6+1 is also possible depending on the size of the passengers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is excellent. No/very less sound from the engine in turned on mode. Fuel economy is however is on the lower side. 12 in city and 16 on highway.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth handling. Its a joy to ride this car even on the city roads. Highways is just a pleasure. The steering control is absolutely amazing. The suspension is excellent and dont give any hard time even on bumpy roads. Easy ride and tireless even if driven for long hours.
Final Words Great car, All the features of Big and costly car...Airbag, Reverse Sesor, Steering Controls, electronic rear view mirror, defogger, fog lights and everything that you would aspire to be in your car. Music system is good for a car as long as you dont use it for a marriage procession or as a DJ in any function.
Areas of improvement Milleage obviously. That is the only flip side of this car.
