Exter is a nice car, I bought my Exter sx(o)petrol MT just one month ago, My height is 6' 4". It's a comfortable family car. 1) four-cylinder engine, 2)smooth drive, 3) feature loaded, 4) excellent mileage, 17 to 19.5 with AC 5) good after-sale service. it's a good car of Hyundai 6) Its rear looks could be better, 7) the throw of its headlight is not enough

Hyundai Exter gives10-12 kmpl average in normal traffic.The suspensions are shit.Three healthy people can't sit at the back.Pickup is poor, can't even overtake.Horn is shit,even two wheeler horn is better than it.Gets dents very easilly,even a tiny pebble can cause a small dent.But it gives good mileage on highway, I got 23kmpl maximum.Have paddle shifters which helps in overtaking as it has bad pickup in automatic.Tyre pressure monitoring system works well.The Mileage meter accuracy is very good.It has higher seating position better than every other car in same range.

I have been driving my Hyundai Exter SX 1.2 MT for the past 9 months and it has been a very good experience. My primary usage of the car is from home to work and back, a daily run of approximately 30 km. Initially I was sceptical about purchasing this car as I previously owned a Hyundai Grand i10 2014 model which did not give me a good mileage (approximately 9 to 10kmpl in the city). None the less the past experience of the Hyundai's trouble free engine in my 10 years of experience of owning the Grand i10, pulled me back to buy a second Hyundai car. I did not want a big car as it has become extremely difficult to navigate in congested traffic and long jams on the city roads. But the Hyundai Exter SX 1.2 MT surprised me with its nifty handling and smooth gear transmission even in such situations. Moreover I can easily extract a mileage of 12 to 13 kmpl in the city. The cabin is really quiet successfully cutting out the outside noise. It is comfortable to drive and the driver seat provides a good lumbar support. Besides a great driving experience I do think that there are a few shortcomings.Firstly the 16 inch trim would be better than 15 inch one. On bumpy roads you feel it.Secondly the spare tyre is of 14 inch one this absolutely makes no sense.Then a 360 degree camera at least in the top end model would have been awesome.The sunroof is very small, might as well not be there at all.The voice commands do not function well as you may need to repeat the commands over and over again.Driver's hand rest is missing.The audio system could have been better. (The segment rival has a better one).Over all it is a nice car for city drive.

Buying experience was little not good as i didn't got colour of my choice.Mileage is very good.In chennai i get a mileage of 16-17 kmpl in city and in highways 18-20 kmpl approx.Car colour and looks give totally different appearance on road. Only thing is wheel height to be improved like atleast 15-16 inch from base variant would have been best decision.

I purchased car when take delivery to home its quite impressive looks as color khaki green much like by all road presence awesome Engine noise silent in cabin also from outside All functions working perfect Exterior and exterior so satisfying Automatic gearbox performs really good not feel any type of shifting gears Overall perfect car.

Best in features, mileage, performance, safety, engine quality, and music system. Enough boot space. Very stable on the highway. Steering is very light and smooth. The only improvement required is a bigger tire size.
