Exterior The exterior of this car is just awesome, its body is aerodynamically shaped & you get some good curves in the body which just add to style when you view the car from a distance. From the front this looks similar to i10 but the fog lamp section is better in this, which looks good added on with the body coloured bumpers. 10/10 for the looks of this Car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors in this car is far better than its competitor Alto 800. We went to Maruti showroom after having a look at the Eon first & the reaction of my friends along with me was just ok. Alto 800 stands no where in comparison to the dual tone interiors of Eon. The interiors are vibrant & cool, doesn't give you the feeling of an entry level car. From inside you will surely love the Eon.
Inside car space is again better than Alto 800 & you have the option of adjusting the front two seats. It can accomodate 5 persons & I sat along with my friends who never complained about leg space in the rear seats. Eon has a very good boot space as well compared to Alto 800.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I felt that the engine makes some noise while the A/C is turned on while driving. I conveyed the same to the service person during the first servicing of the car. I have driven around 500 Kms after that. I am not getting that noise anymore.
Fuel economy is expected to be good for a Car like this. In the City with the A/C turned on I am getting a mileage of 15 - 16 Kmpl. Since I live in Chennai & I have driven this only few times without A/C so cant tell about the mileage without using A/C.
Gear box is smooth & easy to use without any hassles.
Ride Quality & Handling Eon has a very good turning radius, you can easily take a U turn in this car on a 2 lane road. Eon's ride quality & handling is magnificent. I took this on a long drive & touched 110 Km/h, Eon was steady on the road with a very good response to the power steering. Another great feature in Eon is the EPS (Electronic Power Steering). It is very smooth & responsive you can easily drive the car with one hand on the steering, many people having this habit like me & will never feel anything at all.
The braking system in the car is too good. You are not required to press the brake pedal hard, just keeping the foot on it will serve the purpose. It has two disk brakes in the front two tyres & drum brakes in the rear tyres. You can actually stop from 60 Km/h to dead stop in almost 5 seconds which is really good.
Final Words Final verdict on Eon: This is the best Car in India in its category. The kind of looks, design & features packed by Hyundai in this Car will definitely attract the customers. People willing to buy Nano can always look at this as an alternative, while shelling out some more bucks will be worth for sure. Buy recommended !!!
Areas of improvement I feel that Eon should contain the rear defogger & rear viper. In city conditions the rear side of the car gets lot of dust accumulated on it. You have to wipe it out manually. Some times while driving you suddenly recognize that your rear view is blocked then you don't get a rear viper to use instantly. I think it is not possible to fit one in as there is no option provided for that from Hyundai.
Apart from this the Car is small, stylish & compact which you will love at the first instance.

Exterior No Doubt the best in small car segment.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good can be rated 3.5 for 5.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This is the part which is tricky. Engine is smooth and really never had (even a day) any issue with the engine.AWESOME PERFORMANCE. I also did a Long drive (800Kms) Its very different than earlier Eon cars (model 2012) and much better. However the pickup while AC is on is very Bad. I can tell even on the normal Road (not inclined roads like Ghat sections) the pickup is bad while AC is on. Without AC the pull is very good. BHP is 55 bhp @ 5500 RPM, however not sure why is the pickup so normal!

Final Words My experience with a long drive and 10,000 Kms drive was a fun and had a very good experience . Worth buiying this car!!! Forget about the old Eons which were bad (like 2012 Models). Hyundai has taken care of all complaints and come up with right Car.
Areas of improvement Fuel efficiency is not so good (I generally get 16KM/Liter), not so good. Pickup when AC is on is not so good. need to be taken care of.

Exterior Without a thought, its the most stylish looking car in its category, especially appealing to the younger crowd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors have an upmarket feel about them, the 2 tone interiors offer a refreshing change from those seen in the Alto. While front legroom seems to be ok, rear legroom as well as shoulder room seems to be deficient. 3 adults would be a tight squeeze at the back. Boot space seems good enough for a car of these dimensions.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox While quite manageable for drives within the city, overtaking other vehicles is an issue. The engine lacks the grunt & power to effortlessly overtake while driving in the 4th gear. There is a lot of jerkiness experienced while shifting up from 1st to 2nd gear, which the according to the service centre guys is an inherent problem with 800 cc engines.
Ride Quality & Handling Due to the tiny 12 inch wheels on D-lite+ variant, the bumps & potholes on the road are easily felt. Quite nimble while tackling corners & the power steering is very responsive, thereby resulting in ease of parking in tight spaces as well.
Final Words Its a perfect compact car for any first time buyer, looking to drive mainly in the city itself, well suited for a small family of a couple & 2 kids.
Areas of improvement The engine could have packed in some extra punch, rear legroom needs to be improved. I feel both the driver & passenger side ORVMs should be offered as standard fitment on all cars.

Exterior Extrior is good. Eon always looks good than Maruti Alto 800. Especially my car is white in color. And surprising that white color car appears big compared to other colors.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is comfortable for 5 persons including driver. If passengers at rear seat are very fat or healty then only may feel uneasy. Luggage cargo for petrol only version is quite big. If LPG opted then LPG kit and LPG tank may occupy 30 percent space of cargo. Rear seat is foldable it is good feature if more material to carry.Leg room is spacious.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is powerful we drived Eon with 5 passengers through ghats and highways . Engine feels comfortable. Eon has 56 BHP maximum power considered against with 45 BHP of Maruti alto 800. That's why we can get milage less than Maruti alto 800 by 2 to 3 kilometers per liter.We tested Eon at 120 KM/hour speed for 2 minutes to test the vibration. but it found very strudy. I run 500 km within one month. Milage i got about 17 to 18 Km/liter.
Ride Quality & Handling Riding is pleasant . But as I read in earlier review Gear lever vibrates when we starts the engine. But not found any issue in driving.
Final Words Eon can be purchased in rather different views as we traditionally follows Maruti. It is good car.
Areas of improvement Hyundai Ltd should make spares cheapeer as compared with Maruti.People rush to Maruti because of cheap spares and huge service and spares back up. No doubt if well taken cared hyundai cars does not need part replacement over the years. But people afraid of repaire costs.

Final Words A good choice for middle class family who are looking for a car below 4lakhs. The only advice I would like to give you all is, understand that this is a small car with just 824cc. So you dont feel power like an i10 or santro. This car has its own limitations. But trust me this is the best car among all the cars available in the market for this price. Its interior is not congested like in Maruti 800, Alto etc. 5 people can travel comfortably in this car. AC is also good. But you will not feel power while driving with AC on. But this is common in all cars below 800cc.
Areas of improvement We can feel engine vibrations in the gear box. This need to be fixed as almost every customer is complaining about the same.

Exterior I have a blue EON and i guess this is one of the best colours in this car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It has a sufficiently good boot space, and for 4 people its pretty roomy the AC is very powerful, my hand get numb after few minutes 😄.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Power is pretty low when you are in the 2 nd gear and it requires frequent gear shifting beacause of that but once you are in a higher gear it will just not feel like a 800 cc car, my car currently gives 18kmpl in city traffic.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth drive and maneuverable.
Final Words If you compare eon with other cars in the same category like alto 800 and spark then definately eon will score above them it terms of better space, comfort and performance. If its your first car then this is a good choice.

Interior is well designed and the material used is top notch.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
The Main Cons with this car is Engine, Gearbox and Pickup of the car.
Though I am using a Petrol variant (D-Lite+) we can hear lot of noise from engine as similar to Diesel engines.
There is lot of vibration to the gear box and I personally feel that this is common in all small cars.
Major drawback with this car is when shifting down the gears from 3rd to 2nd, engine feels difficult to get the pick up as required. We need to use the clutch multiple times (atleast twice) for engine to respond. That's a Big minus. I drove Hyundai Xcent as well and observed the same response. This might be the issue across all cars from Hyundai, but I am not sure.
Shifting of Gears is very smooth when compared with its rival - Alto.
Fuel Economy is average.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is above average and we can't expect more in this segment of cars.

Exterior Great exterior, way ahead of time. Thus makes the car look sporty bit up in the class factor. Fluidic design really makes it stand in its class.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Biege interior and console is again great far from alto 800. Yes quite furturistic not the old boring same. as u start engine console lights and its like digital (fuel meter).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Only one month of ownership but fuel economy good 17 before 1st service at highway bit less at city but still good good and the myth of gear vibrations at low speed is busted for me at least as there was none.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality good for me and power steering is crisp. Yeah comparing its price. c'mon its not a benz or bmw or Audi.
