Exterior Excellent. I would like to give the full credit to Hyundai engineers for the brilliant styling. Thumbs up.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is simply superb. I couldn't expected such spacious and beautiful interior from a car at this price level. It looks stylish and very much comfortable. Moreover, when I checked the driver’s cabin (at showroom) of i20 and Eon, I felt both are almost equivalent Thumbs up again.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox One cannot expect too much horsepower from an 814cc engine. Still I can race with Wagon R, Estilo or Alto… J. I am too much satisfied with the engine response. I got the delivery on 22-Nov-2012 and in 14 days I completed 900km. I am getting almost 16kmpl before my first service. India is really on. J
I felt the gearbox is a bit sluggish... but that's ok.
Ride Quality & Handling I would say it's excellent, too less body roll and I can maneuverer very easily. Suspension is excellent.
Final Words Highly recommended for everyone who is planning to buy their first car (it is my first car as well). Don’t hesitate. It might be a bit expensive (around 20-30K) compared to Alto 800 but it is superior to Alto in each aspect.

Exterior Highly Appreciable. I have been in love with this car for the last 1 month from the day I did a test drive. Wonderful car.
I got the car delivered on Friday and from then I have driven almost 350Km. The initial experience is wonderful. I would advise everyone looking quality and value addition in owning a car to go for Hyundai Eon. I have got a prestine blue Era+. Wonderful experience from the day one. In the traffic signal people look at the car with jelous. I loved driving the car upto mysore. The road grip is excellent. Eventhough I do not prefer this car for speed lovers, it is a wonderful car with admirable power. I am not a racing person, so I drove the car to an fro bangalore from Mysore in about 90KM /Per hour. I would say that the car had excellent grip and control during the drive. However I did not test at 110KM speed, even though my friends said to have done a good test of the same.
Over all a wonderful car for a family of 4-5. You would love to be in the driving seat if you own one. All the best my friends.

Exterior A unique car, The exterior so attractive very sober, sporty look, much better than alto to compare. Sporty look in the car body. Its head lamp is looking like wings and front face of the car is liking smiling look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Much space, luxurious and beige coloured interior looks very nice. The car is spacious enough for 5 person to sit comfortably. Its a compact car with a very decent built. Spacious and luxury look. Dual colour crash pad with beige colour dominating is good in look. Steering profile is also suitable for fast driving persons. Good turning radius. Seat is very comfort to sit. Front and rear seat are with head rest supporting inside the seat, Seat is more support in the bolster area which gives comfort in the driving condition and seating position.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The true mileage is checked only aftr the first service, but i drove approx 1500 kms without A.C.and get 21.5 km/lt also in hilly area, better pick up among 800 cc cars. I have purchased my eon on 11.12.2011, till now I haven't faced any technical probelm related to engine or suspension or a/c. etc, its a trouble free car.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth riding, comfortable for long drive also. I can't find anything wrong of this car. Smooth riding in plain and rough roads. Adjustable steering is one main point in this segment of cars.
Final Words Finally a nice car, value for money. Riding my eon is alwz a pleasure for me. Overall it's a grt car. only the negative that can be projected is it's low power, other than that it is a nys car.
Areas of improvement Continuous vibrating gear lever so it's need to be checked.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I started with Alto. I drove alto for last two years. Alto is economically is good but not on comfort. Alto is meant only for city. Then I decided to buy EON. So I feel much difference between both cars.
Music system is like as i10. In-built music system is too good. It has iPod jack, USB, AUX. I am planning to fit two more speakers in rear seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good. Accerlation time is much better than alto. LPG fuel economy is not that much good. In City it gives only 10 kmpl, then i starteed driving on petrol. Now its average is 16 kmpl which better than Alto. The biggest pros is gear vibration. Gear is vibrate on 1st and 2nd Gear too much.
Ride Quality & Handling Comfort wise car is awesome. Hnadling is smooth as i10.
Final Words I recommended EON, but as of now don't buy LPG model. buy petrol one.

Exterior Beautiful modern design, great color options. I have the blue one and it really screams, "LOOK AT ME!!"
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great 2 tone color scheme, excellent modern feel and contouring. I love the fact that they replaced the ashtrays with cup holders (I don't smoke obviously) The interior is surpisingly spacious. I gave some friends a ride home from church and they didn't think they were going to fit. When they got in they were pleasantly surprised at the leg room and width of the back seat. Leather/cloth combination is very stylish and hugs you in your seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox My other car is a '94 325i BMW, so its not like I'm impressed with the engine performance, but it is absolutely acceptable, accelerating very comfortably. The economy is better than several Hybrid vehicle owners that I am friends with and they are already having trouble with the batteries in this hot climate. I couldn't be happier on that account! The gearbox changes are very soft and comfortable and the fact that the dashboard tells you when to change gears is simply ideal. This vehicle was advertised at 80 km/galon, and so far that is what I'm seeing.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable ride, and the handling is very responsive. Good turn radious makes it easy to park, and the smaller size (in relation to sedans and larger vehicles) is another huge plus when looking for parking.
Final Words Great vehicle. Smart choise.
Areas of improvement Work out the shaking in the shifter on future models! I've already stopped noticing, but during the "Making the decision" stage of buying the vehicle it was a factor against.

Exterior THIS IS THE BEST LOOKING CAR IN THIS SEGMENT, NO DOUBT. THOUGH SUBJECTIVE, I THINK IT IS BETTER THAN CARS WITH 1000CC ENGINES TODAY. BEAUTIFUL LARGE HEADLIGHTS AND TAIL LAMPS.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space and comfort would depend on your build and where you would be travelling. we are average in built and all of 5ft 7in . for our family of three there is more than enough space. higher seating makes the back seat more comfortable than the alto. adjusting the front seat for my driving position i found enough leg room in the rear. The sportz model has enough features actually a few more than what my i 10 sportz ( the kappa 1 model) had. airbags for the driver, and fog lamps for example. The music system sounds good but there are only 2 front door mounted speakers though there is space to put 2 more speakers in the rear parcel shelf.
Small features that i liked- enough space for bottles and magazines. aux and usb ports right in front of you, a large space to put your mobile during charging. remote lock and central lock in sportz.
What I did not like- the ac controls are marked by very small red lines on the knobs. you would have to get your eyes off the road to look carefully and adjust the settings which is risky in city driving. the knob movements some how feel like not built to last. Boot space is as much as i10 which i think is great. it is a larger but a bit deeper than in the alto, meaning pulling out heavy bags might be a little more difficult, At least the sportz should have had rear defoggers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is average but enough for city driving. slot it into the gear and release the clutch and expect a smooth take off--well this does not happen. you have to rev the engine a bit. The engine is fairly noisy if you rev hard. in the first and second gears even normal driving is a bit noisy. but saying that, raise the windows, switch on the music system and you would not be complaining about engine noise. The sound insulation is way better than alto.
The clutch is light, and the gears are easy to slot though a bit more notchy than i10 but better than alto. the test car had done only 300 km and so was quite new, but the fact is that the ac does not make the engine feel as strained as in alto 800.
Ride Quality & Handling Good for city. I felt it bobs less than the i10 and is more comfortable than the alto. i did not do any spirited driving since i do not think this car is made for racerboys so i am not sure how it holds in corners at speed.
Final Words A very good car from hyundai. made for city driving and occasional out of town trips. it may be more expensive than the alto 800 but it costs to make curvaceous and appealing designed metal sheets and a good dash. maruti has earned back hundreds of times the money it spent on desigining and is still selling alto thanks to its wonderful k series engine and reliability and service centers. eon does offer a lot more features than alto which as a car itself should make it a better choice.
Areas of improvement Rear defoggers and 2 airbags are more important than fog lamps and remote locking as safety features and should be offered at least as a option that can be ordered. some customers would not mind paying a little more for safety.

Exterior Very very stylish and cute
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Cannot be compared with any other car of this range as it has got very nice interior. Seating comfort is also good despite the size, even in the back seats.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite good and gives a smooth drive and a fuel economy of 19kmpl. Gear shifting is good but the lever vibration makes a little disturbance. I had gone through a ghat section where I could get a satisfatory drive with my new car. Even after having a drive of 600km, I didn't feel tiring.
Ride Quality & Handling Its very simple to handle in busy traffic and I like its small turning radius.
Final Words Very good alternative to ALTO and it worths. You will love its style and comfort which you may not get in small segment cars.
Areas of improvement If avoid the gear lever vibration, there is nothing to improve in this small segment car.
