I am using this car for almost 2 and half years, By the experience I would say Please do not buy, Hyndai EON car if you wanted to use the car for long term.

Hyundai 3rd party service centers are not doing good job, I told one of my wheel related problem about a year back they could not able to fix it properly due to that I lost all my 4 tyres. 

I complaint this to Hyundai customer but there is no proper action taken / compensation given. 

Looking at this poor service and resposibility, I decided not to go with Hyundai cars anymore in my life time.

Areas of improvement  

 Wheel alignment / Tyre related issues / Gear rod change / vibration inside vehicle

Exterior Classic and sporty outfit. Better than Alto and other 800 CC cars. If you park and just take a look of your car you will feel so proud that you are driving a world class 800 cc version than alto, a-star, spark.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No better car can match the world class interior. Really I love my dashboard, cock pit. handbrake style, seating view. Front view is awesome you can feel like you a driving a Sedan class only if you turn back and see a less spacious rear seat and shake your head like on god could have just a 20 cm bigger in rear. Rear 2 members fits can have jolly ride. Husband, Wife and 2 children on the back will be a beautiful family car. Best car to evade traffic in the cities. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel is awesome, pickup is great, gearbox is bit harder when we compare i10, i20. But it is negligliable. Engine sound and performance is awesome. I have driven the car in the NH5 with a top speed of 135 without any vibrations in the body or interior. They have a build in class body to evade the wind speed and escpae wind concept. But i have driven alto it has a mild vibration when you drive fast. Steering wheel is good and soft.

Ride Quality & Handling Best in class. Don;t buy alto whereas you can buy EON for 20K extra. Lot of people hestitated me buying eon besides going for alto a long thriving car in the industry. But all the who hestitated me is finally in the defeat mode. I made a race in the NH5 with my cousin car (alto), not a race, just proves who's 800 cc car is best. Really i was quite suprise. On the first 6 seconds i have crossed 80 KPH and got a 100 cm lead and have improved the speed close to 140. WOW i felt i riding a airplane. My cousin face gone red. But each one car is the best car in the world. 

Final Words Buy EON. Defintely better than ALTO, best than A-star, excellent than Spark. In my list EON stands first in the 800 cc 4 member family car.  . I am 95% happy with my first car. The 5% goes to rear steating size.

Areas of improvement Atleast need to increase the rear seat some 15 cm in width. Could have little bit 5 cm high ground clearance. Can reduce the cost up to 15K.

 Interior is well designed and the material used is top notch.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 The Main Cons with this car is Engine, Gearbox and Pickup of the car. 

Though I am using a Petrol variant (D-Lite+) we can hear lot of noise from engine as similar to Diesel engines. 

There is lot of vibration to the gear box and I personally feel that this is common in all small cars.

Major drawback with this car is when shifting down the gears from 3rd to 2nd, engine feels difficult to get the pick up as required. We need to use the clutch multiple times (atleast twice) for engine to respond. That's a Big minus. I drove Hyundai Xcent as well and observed the same response. This might be the issue across all cars from Hyundai, but I am not sure.

Shifting of Gears is very smooth when compared with its rival - Alto.

Fuel Economy is average. 

Ride Quality & Handling

Ride quality is above average and we can't expect more in this segment of cars.

 Need to be improved at the engine side and should feel like we are driving a petrol car but not a diesel car (regarding noise)

Exterior Looks too good, modification can be easly done. Fluedic design is amazing.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior looks very stylish, space very less, and dont feel very confortable. Built quality is there. Cant see such build quality in any other similar cars.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine perforance is very poor. Cannot overtake with AC on. Alternate air filter may increase the power. Using this car for past 9 months. so i can clearly says that, those who are lloking for more power, go fot 1.0 litr engine car.  Gear is not smooth. Good fuel economy.

Ride Quality & Handling Below average. If it is fully seated, driving is excellent. Other wise car is going on air. Its better to buy magna option or above model if you really want to own this car. Because all other options are having 12" tyre which is not good, if there are 4 people on ride. The back portion of the car will damage or you can chane the rim size and tyre size to 13".

Final Words Not a good deal. Lots to improve in every aspects.

Areas of improvement Engine performance has to be improved. Not able to overtake if the AC is on. Handling is very bad. Other similar cars have much power.

10 km/liter avrage in city with a/c and 15 km/ liter in hiway widout a/c. So it is my worst expirince with hundai eon era+ internal space is not so good and after first service I am facing same avrage isue. And compony claim that 21.1 km /liter avrage. So I it was my worst expirince with hundai eon era+.

Buying experience with trident Hyundai was really great, Hyundai Eon is very easy to drive car, light steering wheel. For my personal choice Eon looking very decent in white colour, simple and style looks, aerodynamic design, neat and clean,814 CC decent power and powerful engine. Compare to other 800cc engine it's much better. Quality of build and materials used is suporb. Finishing and never feel that a basic car. Servicing is much cheaper and effencient. Pros Value for your money Quality build Hyundai service Maintenance Few cons Only ground clearance should be more Headlights lighting should improve.

I am using Hyundai eon D-lite+ more than six years. It doesn't give me any kind of problem till now. The driving comfort is very good. Interior is very good. The paint and exterior looks like as just taken out from showroom. Performance is still good. I am enjoying the driving. The other compititors cars quality and performance are not as good as eon.

The hyundai eon is a must buy car in its segment. Competing against likes of alto 800, reanult kwid hyundai eon tops the list. The design of the car is far more beautiful and attractive than alto 800 or renault kwid. The car itself looks premiun and its cabin and dashboard steals the show. I have been driving hyundai eon for the past 5 years in hilly area and it has survived even with having a low ground clearance. The car gives a good milage of 20-21 kmpl. Like the good things there are some certain bads things too. Accelaration is not so good as it takes some more seconds to pick up pace as it is powered by a small engine of 814cc. Lack of rear power window is a great miss and the most important problem is the low ground clearance.

Buying experience: I almost did lot of research of small cars and i went for Eon on one reason because of its exterior look. However after purchasing 800cc engine i felt regretting as there is less pick up.
Riding experience: I feel good But small cars are always not good for long drive
Details about looks, performance etc: exterior look is perfect for a small car in its segment Interior is not bad
Servicing and maintenance: Maintenance of this car is bit higher when you compare with Maruti
Pros and Cons: I like the exterior look of this car and AC is quit good. I still regret taking 800cc which doesn't have good pick up.
