I bought Elite i20 Sportz 1.2 vtvt in may 2017.
I love my car, a little more power would have done great but i am happy with it , i am not the racing type.
Looks wise its a looker from every angle.
Fuel efficiency in city it varies from 11 to 14 kmpl On highways i usually get between 15 to 18 kmpl.
Odo reading 9300 km(2nd service is due in about 600 kms) Couldn't be more happy with my purchase.

Thie car is best in its segment. Segment first feature too. And the the NVH levels are too low. had a great experience with this car. Those long highway trips are very comfortably completed In tis car. The air conditioning works well too. Music system sounds good. Those big fat tyres gives you better control over the chasis. In short the best in its segment.

Exterior Excellent look, while viewing from frontside. But backside design can be slighly modified to look good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Well designed Interior. comparing with other car in this same segment, only I20 gives this fine cut design. Noting to complaint.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Before i20 I have used Santro for 10 Yrs. Engine size is only 200cc more than Santro. But because of heavy kerb weight pickup is slow during overtake. More kerb weight means more safety. You can't expect more from this small size 1197cc engine . I am using Asta (O) since one year and driven more than 10000 Kms. You may face slow pickup while overtake others on highway. But City driving is more comfort. In city I am getting 11.5 to 12 Kms with normal petrol and one more Km with premium petrol (With AC).
Ride Quality & Handling Gear shifting is so smooth. Someone (Only someone like me not all) may get "grinding feel" during breaking. This is due to ABS. But Hyndai should take care while setting ABS in cars.
Final Words Cost may be slightly more for Elite i20 Asta (O) VTVT. May be due to 6 SRS airbags.
Areas of improvement Now Hyndai have changed backside look. Low Mileage complaint from all users. Without modifying engine it may not be possible.

New i20 asta(o) petrol. Very good car to use and to drive in city and highway. Feels stable even in ghat roads. Smooth engine to live with. Plastic quality inside d cabin are good. But in fuel economy this car will disappoint you. Ample space at the rear. Good spacious seats at the rear. Music system does well. Good road grip. Ground clearance is also fine. Sometime I feel there is a lag in 2nd and 3rd gear. But in 4th and 5th gear i20 will show it's class. Steering is smooth. Suspension is very nice. Good performing car for every day Life. Maintenance will not cost you much as I use a petrol car.

i've driven about 10,000kms on the 1.2 petrol engine. Ride comfort was good, it doesnt like the bad patches but glides on the smoother roads. Cabin insulation is excellent. Fit and finish is okay.
The unit I used started rattling inside after a few thousand kms. Seat comfort is bit on the poor side due to no lower back support. The engine refinement is best in class but strictly to be used in the city only. Even smaller highway trips make you feel that the engine is underpowered. It is a slow pacer, takes its own sweet time to get going with the highway speeds.
I felt the weight is the big culprit but it also speaks about the build quality, the sort of thud when closing the doors and the planted ride on the road. It needs a bigger displacement engine and thats the point where diesel engine makes more sense. Fuel economy is 10-11 kmpl in the city and 14-16kmpl on the highway.
This highway mileage figure is when you go on a 100km pure highway stretch. Service costs are 3-4k per service.

Exterior Exterior is amazing. The car looks better than any available hathback on the roads. Even better than some more costly cars.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is great, space is good but the lower back support is very poor. I get pain in my back if I ride for long journeys. Hyundai needs to consider this on priority.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine refinement is amazing, sometimes you have to check if the vehicle is ON or OFF. Gearbox is sleek, great but the fuel economy is the biggest problem with this car. It hardly gives 9.5-10 in city which is very hard on pocket. Hyundai needs to consider this seriously else they will lose out the competition to Baleno completely.
Ride Quality & Handling Both brilliant.
Final Words The car scores very high on almost every area. It looks much more premium than its class. Sexiest car in the indian roads but needs to improve mileage.
