Exterior Car looks stunning from outside,specially it's rear side.You will fall in love with brio in first sight only.It looks compact from  outside but don't believe on its exterior dimensions,it is very specious from iside.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Brio feels really classy from inside.Its amazing how this car carbs out so much of space inside.Audio system has good sound quality and you get 4 speakers with it.Steering mounted audio controls helps you to control your music.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven around 200 Kms and I got 16KMPL in city and 19-20 on highway.I reached 120 KM/hr speed and it feels very stable at this speed as well.Gear box is not so smooth.This could have been better.What we can say about Honda's i-vtech engine,you can reach to 5th gear at the speed of 40 and it doesn't feel so that you are driving on top gear at this low speed.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is exremely smooth.You always feel joy while driving this car. I have driven around 900 KM in 2  days and i didn't feel so.

Final Words I though of lots of car in this segment (Grand i10, polo, swift, Ritz), but I found brio is lot of ahead of these cars.So don't think too much and go for it. Cheers!!!

Areas of improvement Not such any..just boot space it good but not excellent.

Specious interior,ease of ride and easy for parking and stylishBoot space is little bit less.

Exterior What a finish my pal, you will just fall in love with this. I was just so confused which car to purchace. The moment I went to HONDA show room, I knew this was it, just 3 days over , I have booked my car, and cant wait for it to be delivered..

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very spacious, the design is very good and excellent comfort.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Dont know abt fuel consumption cause just took a test drive, But its as smooth as driving a honday city,

Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable, and touching 110km was like a piece of cake and sitting inside you wont realize anything else.

Final Words Go for it, its worth the money, dont wait till its waiting time becomes like that of Maruti Swit,, its worth the money.

Areas of improvement Only boot space, but its too much to ask in comparision of other cars.

The looks, the comfort, simply everything in that price tag...Just the booth space.

Exterior Exterior looks are not just good but EXECELLENT from front and rear, Specially REAR LOOK is different from all other hatchback, When u just see it u may fall in LOVE WITH IT. It LOOKS SMALL from outside but but but just step INSIDE it and  then u will know MAN MAXIMUM MACHINE MINIMUM concept. Its really spacious.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Looks like u r in premim sedan the dashboard quiality is superior compare to ritz wagon r n swift according to my view. Music system is ABOVE AVERAGE sound capability u wont need of any extra woofer. four speaker produces crystal clear sound with fine deep bass. Frontseats and rear seat space is really aquadate for four to five people.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox About engine I think u ride a silent speedboat in the sea with the maximum speed u want. Super silent ride no engine noice in the cabin at all. Average fe should be considered 15 though it gives 16 to 18 on highways.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is BUTTER SOFT, Turning is PERFECT. U just take a td once and then u will belive in my words really.

Exterior The Brio is a smart little genie! Believe me, take a look at it, & sure the Brio will smile back at you. For many like me, you will fall in love with the Brio, the moment you see it at the Honda Showroom near you. 

Brio has an inviting look that you cannot ignore. Truly there are many cars like the Brio, maybe even better by many standards. But the Brio has that something special that appeals to you. Trust me enough, you will love to touch & feel the Brio & owning it is a milestone in your life. It makes you proud...isn't that enough?

What makes the Brio distinct is the hatch with the glass door. Looks different & stunning. It definately makes head turn....I have seen this happen when people overtake you & look out of the window to mark their next car!!!!

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Surprising so, you expect a small car to be constrained in space but, Brio will surprise you. Get in, sit behind the wheel & feel the comfort as you fasten your seat belt. Even for a pot bellied person like me, I had enough room to park my belly & the steering wheel wasn't complaining! At almost 6 feet, I felt the head room was enough to keep my head from banging the Brio. 

My Sister, my wife & my mom aren't complaining either to sit beside me or in the rear. They have enough space to make them feel at home. The seats may seem small, but even with five of you riding the Brio. I am sure nobody will seek readjustment, all of them will be happy & smiling. On a long trip, taking a nap is not a bad idea on the Brio. Except when you are not in the driving seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I am not a technocrat. I rarely understand what those technical words mean. However I have driven many a cars & I know how a car drives itself. I know a car if it is good & I know a car that I love & more so I know a car that I would like to own. 

As I turned the key in the ignition, the Brio sprang into life & kissed me a warm welcome. When idling, there were no vibrations or unwelcome sounds from the Brio bonnet. As I shifted gear, I felt as if the gears were dipped in butter. The steering wheel loved your touch & the response from the engine was instant. The Brio responded well & I liked that. 

Ride Quality & Handling When a car responds to your commands. you love it. That's how I fell in love with the Brio. My driving experience with the Brio has been exceptional. I did not feel any exertion while I took the Brio for a long ride. Even in congested city areas. The Brio understands! What more do you ask from your car?

Final Words Truly, the Brio loves you back because the Brio knows you love it too! I paid for my Brio & my purse & my bankers felt happy about it. Brio doesn't cost you much for what it has to offer in return. Carwale will tell you more... how? Compare the competition & I know you will head to the nearest Honda showroom to fall in love.

Areas of improvement There is not much to talk about improvements except that Honda forgot that we Indians, don't travel light. So when you head for the Airport or the Railway Station to pick up your guests. leave some room in your Brio. because the BOOT will not hold much of our oversized baggage. Small price to pay for all the other benefits.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfort sitting and AC is too cool, to say😎.. All essential features are available inside.. Good visibility to all the sides.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Honda's engine is 😷POWERFUL😇 and it makes all other hatchs behind it on the road..Still it gives Gud FE, 10-12 in cities and 16-19 on Highways.. that's again Amazing...!!!

Ride Quality & Handling Comfort and Smooth Driving. Even at 120-140 kmph, won't feel the speed..😝 The Steering is another one, which makes Brio different from others. Extra- smooth power steering, once engine is on, and 4.5 m TR makes Brio really lovable in congested city traffic.

Final Words If you wish to have a Highly Branded Car in a low budget, Its Brio.. brio makes you to proud of your decision ever..😄

Areas of improvement Seat Height adjustment, Auto Power Dooor locks, rear defogger and wiper, full- down rear windows.

Eye-catching design, extra-smooth driving, Cool and spacious inside, Good FEAuto Door Lock after, say, 20 kmph speed is lacking

Exterior The car is certainly head turner and will not go un noticed . it has a very good rear that gives it an added advantage.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is good with nice biege finish and dashboard also is nice wtih mix of biege and black combination. the space for cupholder is nice. there is an  adequate space in the rear seats for the average heighted persons.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox THE ENGINE PERFORMS VERY SMOOTHLY AND GIVES NICE TORQUE  ESP AFTER 2000 RPM. THE POWER IT GIVES IS SURPRISING AND THRILLING!! THE VEHICLE IS ALWAYS IN COMPLETE CONTROL AND DOES NOT ROLL AT ALL. IT CAN BE DRIVEN VERY COMFORTABLY AT SPEED OF 80 KMPH. THE MILEAGE I AM GETTING IS 18-19 KMPL. ALTHOUGH I AM DRIVING THE CAR IN LESS POPULATED AREA  WITH NOT SO HEAVY TRAFFIC. BUT IN CITY I GET APPROX 15-16 EASILY.THE STEERING IS VERY SMOOTH AND U CAN DRIVE THE CAR EFFORTLESSLY.THE CAR MANOUVERS WITH EASE.

Ride Quality & Handling THE REAR SEATS ARE MORE COMFORTABLE .HOWEVER THE CAR GETS JERKY AND U FEEL THE HARD VERTICAL BOUNCE ON VERY BUMPY ROADS.THE HANDLING IS GREAT AND THE DRIVE IS PEPPY! 

Final Words THE CAR IS ONE OF THE NICE HATCHBACKS THAT I HAVE DRIVEN. IT IS CERTAINLY THE  CAR ONE SHOULD BUY WHO WANT TO HAVE DRIVING FUN , GOOD MILEAGE AND NOT IN NEED OF MUCH BOOT SPACE. UR DAILY NEEDS OF BOOT SPACE ARE HOWEVER TAKEN CARE OF. THIS APART, THE BRIO IS LOVELY CAR TO OWN AND DRIVE. IT WILL GIVE U DRIVING PLEASURE AND WILL BE LIGHTER ON UR POCKET.THE INSIDE LOOKS ARE RICH .

Areas of improvement HONDA CAN IMPPROVE CERTAIN THINGS LIKETHEYCAN  ADD CD PLAYER AND TAKE CARE OF THE NOISY BODY PARTS ON THE DASH BOARD AND REAR WIPER.EVEN THE HORN CAN BE IMPROVED.THE SUNSPENSION MAY BE IMPROVED TO GET RID OF THOSE SUDDEN JERKS.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) : BEIGE COLOR - LOOKS SMART AND RICH / LUXURY, I THINK IN THIS SEGMENT , THSI IS THE ONLY CAR WHICH IS GIVING YOU LUXURY AND RICH LOOK AND THE ONLY CAR WITH HIGH PERFORMANCE ENGINE AND SMART LOOKS AND DESIGN. MARVELLOUS DESIGN AND SHAPE GIVEN TO THSI CAR WITH GOOD SPACE AND FACILITIES.

Exterior

The Exteriors of the car are well made as per Indian Standards. Its only the color of the car that I purchased which requires some heavy maintenance (Black) But yes its worth the pain to have a black beauty. 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Interiors of the car are made with good quality Plastics unlike most Toyota and Nissan cars. The Spacing is supreme for the front and Rear seats. My friends and I have been pretty happy with the fact that the car can accommodate upto 5 people easily w/o any hastle. The external view of this car makes it look small but the moment you are seated inside it looks bigger than any car in its segment. I can bet you on this (Other than its brother JAZZ)

When it comes to Refined Engines Honda has never disappointed any of its customer. As I was just checking a few blogs and review posted by people with comments on the Pickup of the car, would like to state that this car is pretty good at its overall engine performance as it has a 1200 CC engine powered to loft 88 BHP. The power to weight ratio of the car has an added advantage for speedsters.

 Supreme ride Quality as it sail on highways. Very good suspensions to not bump into pits.

One thing that I actually noticed before I thought of writing this blog was I saw a lot of negative review by people who tried test riding this vehicle. What I would suggest is own it to know it.

Areas of improvement  

Just a humble suggestion to Honda manufacturers is that we middle class people in India can afford a Honda Car but not PETROL. So an alternate fuel would be a blessing from an engine that good.

I would rather start this review with a old statement--Nobody is perfect in this world ..With punchline used by ONIDA TV--- Neighbours Envy, Owners Pride.

Purchased Honda Brio SMT in May 2013 ( Already owning Maruti Wagon R LXi and Ex owner of Maruti 800 Std.)

In March 2013, started planning to have a second car , taking care of the budget , driving distances and City conditions. Went to Maruti dealer at Nagpur. The sales guy was busy with a customer --Alto 800. I asked for details of Ritz and Swift Lxi and VXi variants. He quotated me the onroad price for the said models, but was not ready to explain the features. On asking for a test drive --- Ritz , the sales guy showed his helplessness as the Test drive vehicle was unavailable with him. So finally went out of the showroom with some pain for maruti, regarding their careless attitude .

Moved to the adjacent car dealer of Honda. Their the sales guy explained me well about the features and benefits of Honda Brio, along with offers and discounts. He also offered me the test drive.

Now there is the difference--- Driving pleasure and comfort was the best ( Superb -- Power Steering , even though the test drive vehicle clocked more than 50000 KMs).

So finally made my choice to purchase Brio SMT after lot of comparisons and customer reviews on net.

Went to Jabalpur Dealer as the prices quotated by him was quite less, considering the taxes in MP. Also the Brio SMT model offered by the Jabalpur dealer was a upgraded one with rear defogger and height adjustable driver seat. So the deal was locked .

Now , I am writing this review after almost 18 Months of purchasing the car , with odometer showing more than 11000 KMs.

Lets compare it Point by Point:

1)- Price --Almost 0.15 Lacs cheaper than Ritz VXi

2)- Engine - Best in class Honda Ivtec 1200 cc engine with more BHPs as compared to Ritz.

3)- Features --- Everything except for CD player . Car comes with a Stereo - Radio, Pen drives and Aux with mind blowing speakers. Also power steering on Brio is far more effective than any other car in its class.

4)-Fuel Efficiency- In city driving, it gives 16.5 to 17.5 KMPL and on Highway ,  I got 23 KMPL( driving almost 400 KMs from Nagpur to Bilaspur). Now I am getting a fuel efficiency of 20.5 KMPl in Bilaspur for a to and fro driving of 37 KMs daily.  Above fuel efficiencies have been taken with AC on and with fuel refill - tank to tank.

5)- Service- Service charges of Honda are at par with any other cars.

6)- Boot Space - Even though it is quite less comparatively, but than how many we really use it.

Most importantly Honda is Honda.

Therefore, would suggest all the prospective buyers of this class, to just check this car at your nearest showroom, before buying.
