      Yesterday I had about 10 Km of test drive of Briyo and when at the first look car seems to be so small. At that momemt I changed my mind of not buying it. The looks are fine but the car is ment for the people of small height.

      Exterior Its fine. the back lights are not good as they are coming out of the body. a little touch with anything will break ur back lights.  The boot space was a joke, u cant even put a Bag properly (you have to keep it vertically). Alloy wheels only on Top model, Ground clearance is fine, but suspension is Bad.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its more of plastic everywhere, will not give you a luxury feeling, Space is a very less, i am very shocked how could honda do this, where it builds a car like Jazz and Now briyo, Back seat cant have 3 people , as its very small and very less thigh rest.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox  Engine is awesome, ivtec have alot of power for this small car, Fuel performance as per the compny is around 12 -14 in city and 18 on highway. Gearbox, very soft and you can change gears with 1 finger.

      Ride Quality & Handling Handling is good , though the car is of low height , but only the driver will enjoy the ride.

      Final Words Not Value for Money.

      Exterior Side designing is good BUT Front reminds of outgoing Verna-Transform (Model before Verna Fludic), Honda should have given it aggressive looks like CITY or Civic.

      Front Indicators are not visible when headlamps are in Full/High beam. Auto makers should put Front turn Indicators on Head Lamp curve (like Punto, Linea, Corolla, Indica etc.) or above head Lamp (like i 20, Swift, Manza, Figo etc.). Indicators between Front Grill and Head Lamps are not visible with Head Lamps in High beam. REAR of BRIO is big big let down. Tail gate reminds of the 1st lot of Maruti 800 where only glass was lifted instead of Rear Tail gate. Tail Lamps look like half of Civic Lamps.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space, nice attractive features BUT again not enough for luggage in 4 Lakh plus car. Front seats are big let down. Many Automakers have stopped giving Adjustable front Head Rest in seats as Cost cutting, which is very bad. front seats Head Rest CAN NOT be adjusted according to height. No differance between Front seats of 4 Lakh BRIO and 1.5 Lakh Tata NANO.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Honda means good Fuel efficiency, nice durable engine and sporty gear box.

      Ride Quality & Handling Hondas score over rivals in this area. However, Front seats are let down, specially on long drives when Head Rest is NOT adjustable.

      Final Words Honda must re-think of Rear styling and improve Front seats with adjustable head rests, otherwise affordable HONDA car.

      Areas of improvement Rear Styling, front Indicator and Front Seats.

      Exterior Best looking car in the segment. it was really love at first sight!

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) S Mt version has good features though front visibility for lady drivers could be a problem as the seat is low. main speedometer dial not visible clearly because  steering wheel comes up in line of sight. entry and exit of driver is somewhat restricted by the steering wheel.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox One of the best petrol engine . mileage on the day of purchase for a 70km drive throuh higway and city (10 km patch) was 17.3 kmpl.

      Ride Quality & Handling Very good.

      Final Words An excellent car in the segment. brought it after lot of research and waited for the floods in thialand to reside and production to begin .luggage space not a constraintat all the wait was worth it!

      Areas of improvement Driver seat height. visibily of main speedometer through the steering wheel  in smt version.

      good fuel economy .good styling front and back.smt version has steering wheel low down and interferes with visibilty of dials .

       please release diesel car, if we release diesel car note my word we will capture 50% of auto share in indian market. please consider for that. Note weather its bike or car i will go only for honda , i have 3 honda bikes and used honda city car its already clocked to 60000 km still its like young girl

      Exterior Sexy exterior. Very stylish. Electric blue color makes it look funky.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are comfortable. Doesn't feel like a small car. Plastics are excellent. Toyota could learn something from Honda on this front. I am 5"11. My dad is 5"9. He can sit comfortably behind me. Features are par with the competition. I love the USB port and steering mounted audio controls provided.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox What a sweet engine. Good power available. Acceleration is terrific. Fuel economy is around 12-13kmpl in city with moderate AC. Cant really complain. Gearbox is smooth and positive.

      Ride Quality & Handling Handling is very good. The car has a taut suspension. Ride is good. Feels pliant at high speeds. Ground clearance is enough.

      Final Words Excellent car. Got an excellent deal. Free insurance, loyalty bonus, 32" led tv, extended warranty plus road side assistance. What else can one ask for. Extremely happy with the purchase. :) 

      Areas of improvement Nothing really.

      Spacious inside, refinement, compact size, Honda reliability.Rear defogger or rear wiper should have been provided.

      Exterior Good looking.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel Eco is ok however, gearbox could be improved.

      Ride Quality & Handling Good

      Final Words I bought a new Honda Brio on the 3rd day after a minor accident I sent it for servicing. The day I picked-up my car discovered wheel alignment issue and complained to the dealer, the first mechanic who checked the car said it’s a minor problem however, since it was closing time and I was told to come the next day.

      The next day to my surprise I was informed than they have to change some parts and advise me not to drive the car. When I asked them why they did not check when I had sent the car to the service center after the accident, they said since it was a minor scratch in the bumper and there were no signs of impact; there was no way the issue in the alignment is due to the accident ( Indirectly they agreed that it could be a manufacturing issue). However, soon they went back on their words and asked me to pay for the part
      After fighting for one hour or so they agreed to replace it for free of cost. It’s been 20 Days and till now they have not able to obtain the part . As per them BRIO is a new car so parts are not available..the Honda service guy agreed that there is a major shortage of BRIO and CRV parts. His exact language was “Sir Honda spare parts ke liye hi to maar kha raha hai..honda mein yeh issue to hamesha se hai”
      This is my first Honda car and the experience is so frustrating; I am unable to take my car for long distances and it going to be almost a month.
      I seriously regret buying this car now. All that glitters is not gold.
      I would recommend new buyer looking for small car to go for brands which already have a proven track record in terms of service and availability of spare parts

      Exterior Nice to feel front and unique back tough galss passed crash test.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space found better than Polo, Ritz,Swift old. Low seat feels good than high seating as in santro, i10. SMTO has all features almost, leg space beats many hot selling polo, swift, ritz.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Best power to weight ration as Jazz engine of ~90bhp, smooth gear,cluch and no hassele at low speed like pressing cluch half way like in i10..and many.

      Ride Quality & Handling Less bouncing inside in 100+km/hr in uneven raod than i10, ritz. Very accurate steering.

      Final Words Close to 80% meets expectation than peers which are less here. Honda pushes Brio for high volume so Jazz booking has been stopped mean while.

      No concern at 100+ to 130km/l speed as driven feels very stable inside and like low noise engine as Honda delivers, Mileage close to ARI clamed, if run on ECO mode will get 13-14 in city as compared to i10 clamed 20kl/l but will not exceed 12-13km/l in city.

      Areas of improvement Back head rest lacks, boot space made for city but not major con. Glove box mis-aling with dash board..honda missed?

      Exterior A big "H" of Honda is enough to explain style and class

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) - Spacious...more space than any car in its segment...more space than swift however less than i20...Boot space is a laggard

       

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox - Engine is quite responsive...Fuel economy is best in its class so far....untimately it is a Honda

       

      Ride Quality & Handling - Simply Amazing..smooth and responsive...with a RPM of 2500 it touches 90 km/hr

       

      Final Words - Excellent job done by Honda. A complete family car which will surely loves you back...

      Dear All,

       After following it for more then year on Internet. I can still remember the day when it was first officially launched on the  Honda web site and that day i have decided that i will buy this car. Finally I have bought this car. Till now i have clocked couple of hudred killometers and i am going to provide valuable inputs on it. 

      Exterior:

      I was supprised when i saw the car first time on the road, i was throughly dissapointed by its small dimensions. I mean how come its so small? that was the feeling that went through my mind after spending so many days on reasearching it on Internet. But hold your breath and read my Interior review...

      From Exteriror the Style is contemporary and it goes one step ahead by placing all glass hatch at the back. Now i loved this feature and believe me many of my female collegues also felt this as a cutest part of the car. However my male friends raised concern over the safety, but be assured this glass is very thick and dont even break when shut it with hard bang. Also the Honda provides 100% guruntee on this glass door. Remember this is not fragile glass, this is very very hard.

      Paint is deep and glossy, Body panels fitted tight and with consistance tolerance. The plastics and rubber used in this car is miles ahead of Figo, POLO and Punto.

      The only  couple of dissapointments is choice of colors and Antena. You hardly have 5 colours to choose from and three of them are regular colors [white, black and red]. The Antena is of old style.

       

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

      You have to sit inside BRIO to feel its largeness. Its really large and engineering and ergonomics design are fabulos. Honda has done brilliant job in craving space from its users. My friend with six feet hight can easily squeez in front as well as back without any leg problem. the under thigh support on the seat is excellent and you dont have hump in the middle. so its very good in this segment. Also the plastics are of very good quality, the steering looks rich and AC vents and glove box looks cool.

      If you are family of Four this is the best car. You can squeez fifth person for short distances due to arched seats.


      Also you might think on boot space, but honestly you dont use boot everyday and even you use you dont require more than this.

      The only disappointment is you dont have hight adujstable seats and seat belts which i feel not necessary for this car because of its ergonomic design, you will have very good visibility of the road ahead. Also the rear passenger widow buttons are of old style.




      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:


      The IVTEC engine delivers what it is build for. You get very good fuel economy of 14KM in City [City like Hyderabad] and 19 KM on highway. Though if you drive in ECO mode i guess you can add couple of Killometers more.

      The engine performance is fabulos as it makes less noice and more user friendly. The Initial pickyp is slow and you will find this little annyoing at the signals, but once you are on second fear the car picks up the speed in no time. I can say the car is faster than swifts, POLO's and Punto's on the road.

      There is small issue with the gear shift which i found in my vehicle, sometimes it is too tight to change to the first gear. May be this happend with only my car [ Need to sort that out with my dealer].

      The power steering is lite and easy to maneuver but it is not accurate. so you need to be little cautious in tight situations. 

       


      Ride Quality & Handling

      Fundamentally amazing ride quality. You will glide on the roads and most of the speed breakers are easy to pass on. Though there will be small amount of body roll.

       

      Final Words:

      This is the best car in its segment.  No doubt about it. Considering fuel economy, style, interior space and ride comfort. 

       

      Only concern is rear seat width, it is pretty comfortable for Four passengers with amazing leg room and shoulder room, but seating five people over long distance is difficult.

      Areas of improvement  

       Little increase in the size of the car for more boot.

       

      Inside Space, Engine performance, Fuel economy, Power and Smooth DrivingBoot space, Rear defogger, Blue tooth connectivity.
