    • 5 Yrs, 170000 Kms - Caught Fire during running, driver seat welding broken many times, heavy noise inside cabin, poor and very costly service

      Review of 1st Gen Diesel Honda Amaze after 5 Years, 170000 Kms Riding Experience: Caught fire during running , maybe due to short circuit in left side head light wiring. Driver seat welding broken 4 times in 5 Years, Rusting started after 2 years only, rear door gasket came out many times, Window glass stucks many time even after replacement of motor, Glass bidding damaged after 4 years, with a small jump over road patches tyre got deformed ( 6 cases overall). Servicing and Maintenance- Very high maintenance cost , approx 10000 per service or more, changed 3 dealers but no one met expectation. Not able to reach company officials in case of major problems. Very bad response from honda customer care Overall - Not a good experience at all, not at all recommended

    • Segments most powerful engine with lots of torque and at a cost of great mileage!

      I purchased the car from Lucknow they gave a good discount on accessories though I have to fight a lot for it. The diesel engine is superb, it is peppy and agile with lots of torque after 1000 rpm and handling is awesome and no other car in this segment has this powerful engine with great mileage. It absorbs bumps like a pro. Looks depends on the individual's personal choice, I like it because it looks masculine.

      Cons- not great looking alloy wheels, missing traction control and hill assist.

      Buying experience was good. Ride comfort is excellent , you wont get tired after long journey, decent handling due to soft suspension , seats are superb Looks like honda city from side, front and back has things from new civic. Pearl metallic white gives royal feel. 1.5 litre 100 bhp diesel engine is good.Silent engine, no turbo lag, has good pulling power(torque) of 200nm. Starts vocal after 2500 rpm, Engine redlines quickly at 3500 rpm. So need to shift gears quickly to keep engine running below 2500rpm to keep it in its powerband and silent , yes after 2500 rpm we can slightly feel engine noise, not disturbing though, Getting around 20km with AC. Cons Signature led is waste, it is not DRL, just a parking light. Less bright, so It can be visible only in night No LED headlights in top end. Fog lamp, tail lamp, cabin lamp all are normal bulbs 4 speaker music system is average, makes vibration n noise once volume crosses 50 percent Low resolution touch screen not even HD, which is not bright , so difficult to read during bright day time. Gear lever is tight , gear changing needs force, cannot change gear in two or three fingers, all fingers n palm need to be involved .Clutch is light Steering is slightly heavy at low speeds, needs more efforts in bends. But good at high speed.

      for safety point of view this car is very poor. car air bag was not open due to very dangerous accident. when i complaint to honda cars india they give me unexpected & nonsense excuse about air bag. so according to my point of view don't purchase this car.. if you want safety than. here is not any option to add image than i will show you car condition after accident but air bag not open

      1. Vibration 2. Noise from steering 3. Noise from desk 4. Noise from suspension 5. Inferior material quality Complained many times but they are not taking this matter seriously. Called directly to the company but did not get proper answer and even they do not visit to check these issues. Very much disappointed. Don't buy.

    • No car can beat on Mileage Amaze is Amazing

      Riding experience is good and performance is very good . I use to travel for out station on regularly. Already I have travelled 15000 km and above with I 6 month. Mileage I got around 30.5km per liter for an average when you are on 80km speed. It is really superb and thrilled that it has given more than what the Honda has given for 27km. BUT IN CITY IAM GETTING ARROUND 21 TO 25. when you are 120km speed Ian getting 21 km. I recommend all my friend and relatives to go for this car only on this version

      I rode diesel engine and really it's very powerful and I enjoy a lot while I have taken a test drive from Honda showroom and now I am planning to purchase this vehicle in New Year that is in2019 I am choosing the model 1.5 litre I dtec VX. On road Price in nagpur showroom is 10.63 lakhs of VX diesel model. Interior is really very awesome with scratch proof design. I AS A MECHANICAL ENGINEER RECOMMEND YOU ALL TO GO FOR THIS VEHICLE.

    • Amazing Amaze diesel with a few misses

      Bought VX diesel top end . Superb pick up , ultra comfort suspension. Very spacious. You wont get tired after long journey. Silent diesel engine, no turbo lag. No need to downshift for overtaking trucks, just press accelarator, it will overtake in 5th gear. Front looks like mini Rolls royce with straight cut. New civic kind of front chrome bar and tail lamps. Chilling AC. Decent highway stability and handling. No reverse gear issue. Reversibg camera with guidelines are good. Cons: No LED headlamp, positioning lamp is not LED Day time running bright led, it is dim parking led light. Average music system with 4 speakers. Soft suspension,so with full load and luggage ground clearance can reduce. No LED or Projector in top end , instead cruise control is given . Alloy wheel is not diamond cut. Slightly tight gear lever and little heavy steering Overall better car with good mileage
