Honda Amaze (More on Looks, Less at Heart)

Reviewing New Honda Amaze Petrol (Certified user, Run 4500 KM, 5 months) :- Looks From distance of more then 5 feet : 10/10 Close looks (finish, settings) :- 8/10 Performance :- 6/10 1st Gear :- Quite Good Top Gear :- Excellent Smooth Running, Pleasant Ride 2nd/3rd gear : Lacks power Especially if you have to apply breaks, lifting the ride in 3rd or 2nd gear takes extra time for pick-up. I think Honda should pay attention to Gear Ratios (if gear box permits,a bigger gear may solve the issue) Reverse Gear :- The worst thing Amaze has. Initially there was a huge vibration, on repeated complaints and raising HTR, Torque Mounting was changed by Honda which reduced vibration to much extent (its still there) nit sufficient power in reverse gear. If you are on a down hill and have to move backwards to provide space for upcoming vehicle by reversing, you will definitely be deceived. Safety :- It has some blind spots on left side. ORVM mirror settings needs attention. Overall Ratings:- 6/10 Buying Experience :- No Test ride was provided even on being asked for 3/4 times before purchase Purchased totally based on looks and market repute of Honda.
