Whoever feels that the engine is dull they don't know about ivtec motor. The ivtec kicks in above 2k rpm, so whoever wants performance get ivtec activated and then feel the Honda engine. Cabin, Leg room and mileage is super of this car overall package is best.

First of all, I was extremely excited about the Honda Amaze and after it was delivered I drove it for some hundred kilometers. The only complaint or compromise in this car is the lack of some basic features like Rear AC vents, front cabin lamps, rear LED combination lamps and Adjustable rear Headrest( Which Honda doesn't give even in their flagship cars like the CITY ), and front centre armrest, for this price point of 9 lakhs. Otherwise, the car has a decent amount of features and good quality interiors (dual tone) and a good infotainment system but could have added a colour MID. At this price point it is a buyable car.

I had done few kms test drive .Car feels light and nice to steer in traffic. Nice looking among all the cars in this segment. But we want more solid build like tata tigor, interior plastic quality is better than previous Amaze but we want bitmore improvement in interior plastic quality and the 185 section tyres will be better.Otherwise awesome car. I will prefer this car over dzire. Exterior feels awesome and gorgeous.

Cons: Fog Lamp is not so effective, Bumper Plastic

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Pros:

1. Good Music System
2. Feels Good.

Cons:

1. Not so comfortable for 3 adults in the back seat.
2. Plastic Buttons on Steering Wheel is Awful & Cheap
3. No Cooled Glow Box

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Cons:

1. Pick up Issue
2. 11-12 kmpl average only within city
3. Reverse Parking Vibrations issues (Reported from many Owners)
4. Steering Wheel Issues ( BIG SAFETY Concern for your FAMILY)
5. Think 1000 times before buying this car

Detailed Review:

I have purchase this car in the last week of June 2018 fron Landmark Honda, Ahmedabad. Within a Month I've faced different type of problems like, Loud Chu Chu Noice from the Front, Reverse Parking Vibrations, My steering Wheel behaving Odd and Car Leaning issues. I have reported these issues to the Service Stations and they simply denied even acknowledging them. Moreover they have said It's your illusion. I've asked my uncles and some auto expert friends to drive my car and let me know if any such problem persist.

We've all chacked these problems on different roads, at different speeds, with different loads in the car and with all the possible parameters, we'hv confirmed that this Brand new, one month old Car is having these issues. I again went back to the dealership and informed the same and they said "Are your Uncle/Friends Honda Certified Mechanics?" LOL. Can you imagine this? That means if you want to purchase a Honda Product, at least one of your family member should be Honda Certified Autocare Expert. What Rubish.

Then, I raise a complain to one2one and they got somewhat attentive to just listen to me what I'm saying in my compaint. I went through 7 days of complete Harrasements from the delearships with no intentions of helping me and solving those problems and Those problem still persist in my car and they've closed my complaint.

I had a bad experience with one of the Honda Dealer name Stearling Honda Sale and Service dept. I also had very unexpectable experience from Honda because i write a complaint to Honda before 1 month around for the losses and trouble which I get it from Purchase and Service dept. of Stearling Honda but I don't have any solution from Honda.

I purchased the car from Lucknow they gave a good discount on accessories though I have to fight a lot for it. The diesel engine is superb, it is peppy and agile with lots of torque after 1000 rpm and handling is awesome and no other car in this segment has this powerful engine with great mileage. It absorbs bumps like a pro. Looks depends on the individual's personal choice, I like it because it looks masculine.

Cons- not great looking alloy wheels, missing traction control and hill assist.

One thing is the shockers are jst below average as they do not absorb the shock cleanly you will find out a very stiff and harsh sound as if it is something broken. Shockers are poor in Honda new Amaze. It could be provided with a bit more of good quality. Small pot holes are also being felt as a very big ones and u will get a hard sound like takkk.

So i Purchased this Honda Amaze Smt From courtesy Honda Wazirpur New delhi in December 2018. And i wanted to say this is the worst product of Honda and it has been fooling customers around. Within a short Span of 6 months i have got pick up problems, Lubrication was done in my jumping jack rod because of some noises and majorly my car stopped abruptly in the middle of highway so got to know from Honda that it has got fuel pipe replacement problem. I am deeply hurt and is in rage because of the money that i have spilled on this car . Its takes years to build trust and any time in future i am not going to step my foot in Honda showroom. They are playing with customers as it takes a lot to buy a car for your family and in new car one cannot expect these problems. I even have a fear of taking this brand new car to outstations. Honda is pathetic and untrustworthy.

The buying experience is really great, this is not a city car very low pick up below 1000 rpm you need to raise acceleration every time to get moving. Poor response from acceleration there is a delay in acceleration once you put your legs on the pedal it will raise Afters seconds. poor plastics material used. The dashboard will open for little jerks.
