      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats now very comfortable ALSO MORE AND COMFORTABLE SPACE FOR THREE AT THE BACK DASH BOARD IS PLEASING IN THIS MODEL.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good Pick up GEARS CHANGE SMOOTHLY MINIMAL ENGINE NOISE IN PETROL VERSION.

      Ride Quality & Handling Smooth EVEN ON ROUGH AND UNEVEN ROADS.

      Final Words I have been driving Honda Amaze (SMT) since Ap 2014 and now want to shift to Amaze CVT. However I find that although VCVT variant of 2nd Gen Amaze is the costliest of all yet some important Features like Advanced Infotainment System with Navigation and Reverse Camera have not been provided in this Variant. This is very disappointing.

      You will kindly appreciate that after paying the maximum one would want the best  of features.

      Areas of improvement LED HEAD LIGHTS WOULD BE WELCOME WIPER SYSTEM AT THE BACK MIRROR WOULD BE USEFUL.

      Buying experience: Very good. Riding experience : Excellent. Looks & Performance : Excellent. Servicing & MTC : Very good. drove the SVT patrol for 1000+ km, look wise great, performance wise very good and good boot space. On Highway got mileage of 20 kmpl and city 12 kmpl and I hope it will improve further in city after servicing..

      I am planning to book this one(Automated S variant). But after reading few negative reviews I am putting my plan on hold. Honda should acknowledge and at least justify/rectify problems cited by all buyers.

      10L is a big money and Honda should say yes there are some issues we know and we will ensure to fix them first in assembly line and fix it through dealers for all buyers who ever bought till now(Even should replace wherever this is absolutely necessary). These are the First buyers of newly launched car who believed and invested in Honda car they need to be treated royally. Some people getting bad response from dealers also denying issues will not help.

      This bold move can enable people who has trust in the Brand Honda but put the plan on hold to resume their buying decision.

      Otherwise, immediately after test drive I decided to buy this car as exterior and interior pleased me except unavailability of Infotainment system even in high end CVT variant.

      Good lookingMileage, shaking while reversing etc.etc.

      I have done short distance test drive on the car. It is disappointing car from Honda. When I stepped into the car noticed some cosmetic things for cheating customers I just started the car initial pickup is ok, not satisfactory. And I felt very light weight car and felt driving a big widen plastic car and taken into a straight highway. The performance is below average. Afterbthat brought the car into an inclined road. Applied the brake from missile of the inclined road and then put into 1st gear and applied the accelerator. The car reduced to move forward, and struggling to pickup. I applied the accelerator very hardly but the car turned off.I tried 3 times. It is a very pathetic car. Dont go for it, try new Tata cars. It provide good quality and performance.

      Comfort level is very good for all passengers especially legroom. Diesel NVH on par with the petrol. Pl Get diesel CVT all the roads becoming very congested along with petrol prices. I was using jazz 2015 model petrol manual in three years of usage my left hip started paining untolarably. So petrol 1.2 engine not suitable for city driving is pain in slow speed.

      My previous santro was a better car. I went with the jaaz in 2015 believing it will better than santro. Yes its better in comfort seating,looks,and NVH. But believe me Honda 1.2 Gear ratio at lower speed is pathetic pathetic pathetic. Don't destroy your self by going for petrol manual. My usage is 40-70 Km daily on city. The new Amaze Diesel CVT is eye-opener. Pl Get a diesel version. Its smooth, powerful, comfortable.

      I got diesel VCVT costed 10.2 Lakhs. But do you know it doesn't have a reverse camera and screen. Just worse categorizing. I fitted Sony Xav ax 5000 Capacitative touch screen Android auto/Apple carplay system. With seatcover,vinyl flooring the price reached 10.60 lakhs. But i feel its worth it. I witnessed a huge tree fell on the jazz directly on top it witstood the tree all in mates were safe. Parallaly I seen a maruthi completely destroyed along with lives of in mates.

      I believe in stong structure and quality of honda that's the premium price. The above I witnessed in Guindy rajbhavan road during cyclone by 2016 dec. Buy Diesel its good.

      I purchased Amaze VXMT (top model) on 10th July 2018 and uphill now I have had an amazing experience driving the car. The car looks swanky and the gives the feel of a premier sedan. It's pretty smooth to drive.

      I have driven Maruti cars and believe me Maruti cars feels like an old Fiat Padmini in comparison to Amaze. The AC is amazing and you won't feel the need for rear vents. The leg room is great and the boot space is also more than sufficient. The engine is very silent and responsive. Once you close the windows you won't listen to any noise outside. The gear shift is also very smooth.

      The mileage is 12 km/l as of now and I have driven close to 500 kms in the city with bumper to bumper traffic. I guess the mileage will increase after the first service. The music system is mind blowing and so is the digipad. Considering it's a compact sedan the features are no less than any high end sedan like City or Verna. Now coming to the reverse gear problem people have been talking about.

      I DID NOT feel any problem while reversing the car. It does vibrate a little when you don't press the clutch properly but its not something that has bothered me. One con that I think is that the pick up in second gear is little slow but that's not a major issue for me. All in all its the best car in the segment. Cheers!!

      Driving new amaze 2018 S model manual petrol version. Space is good, ground clearance is better than old amaze. Suspensions are good. Best part ABS and EBD. But but but. Main issue is huge vibration in reverse gear and now coming in 1st gear as well. Honda mechanics have no clue. Huge dampener in this beautiful car.

      It's a bad decisions to buy this eye catching sedan. In performance it's not at par. In first & second gear very low performing. We have to study in detail before finalizing any car in future. This is totally failure of Honda like company. To keep faith in this company has to give option to switch over any other model .Hope will get positive response.

      Value for money!! Satisfied. I think Honda finally solved the mileage issue and got the formula to beat Maruti Suzuki. Ia m writing this review after driving 700+ KMs. Pros 1. Mileage: City: 14.5 KM/L Highway: 19 KM/L 2. Sedan class 3. Price is approx. 20k higher than Baleno but you are getting sedan features 4. Amazing interior 5. Handsome look Few things could have been better. Take it as cons. 1. Door quality 2. Suspenser Key Notes: 1. The pickup for 2nd and 3rd gear is low. Honda has done it deliberately to improve the mileage. 2. As you might have read in some reviews: That there is some vibrations on reverse gear. I actually found it in one of the test driving car. So I pre-conditioned with the dealer that I will test the reverse gear of the car, then you can tag the car in my name. They agreed. I tested two new cars and luckily there was no reverse gear problems. Conclusion: As mileage was my priority, I was confused between Baleno, i20 and Amaze. But I am happy that I got the mileage car with sedan features and the driving quality is also better than Baleno and i20.

      Buying experience was good. Ride comfort is excellent , you wont get tired after long journey, decent handling due to soft suspension , seats are superb Looks like honda city from side, front and back has things from new civic. Pearl metallic white gives royal feel. 1.5 litre 100 bhp diesel engine is good.Silent engine, no turbo lag, has good pulling power(torque) of 200nm. Starts vocal after 2500 rpm, Engine redlines quickly at 3500 rpm. So need to shift gears quickly to keep engine running below 2500rpm to keep it in its powerband and silent , yes after 2500 rpm we can slightly feel engine noise, not disturbing though, Getting around 20km with AC. Cons Signature led is waste, it is not DRL, just a parking light. Less bright, so It can be visible only in night No LED headlights in top end. Fog lamp, tail lamp, cabin lamp all are normal bulbs 4 speaker music system is average, makes vibration n noise once volume crosses 50 percent Low resolution touch screen not even HD, which is not bright , so difficult to read during bright day time. Gear lever is tight , gear changing needs force, cannot change gear in two or three fingers, all fingers n palm need to be involved .Clutch is light Steering is slightly heavy at low speeds, needs more efforts in bends. But good at high speed.
