Exterior Exteriors are ok but can be improved compare to other cars.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Need to provide arm rest and good seat covers.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is good if drives @60KMPH only but its very bad in the city which need improvement, gear lever create noise all the times while chainging the gear ...cut ..cut sound produced which gives very bad impression.
Ride Quality & Handling Poor pick up which need to be improved... back doors locks are very hard... engine produced noise which need to be reduced.
Final Words Its a good car in the segmant but need improvement ,servicing is very much expensive. I never paid less than 7000 for servicing which proves that servicing of car is very much expensive in comparision of other car like Maruti or Dezire or Itios.
Areas of improvement To reduce engine noise, provide auto A/C and to provide arm rest on both side. Need to improve ground clearance for Indian road conditions. Need to improve suspension. my car runs 56000 KMS and suspension gone. Company must provide good quality of tyres.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Ok. like other cars no clock for back seaters. Clock is fixed on speedometer diaplay panel.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox WORST ENGINE, it sucks water from front into engine and engine cracks and breaks down. Worst car I had in 15 yrs.no engine warranty and insurance .prepare yourself for huge bill of 2-3 lakhs for a new car. Honda people knew it they threaten you that you drove in water logged roads and say water went from exhaust, blatant lie.aluminium engine is not able to bear the heat. net is full of amze engine troubles chek them. Some things always burns and smell comes into the car.

Final Words Poor service back up serive camps do not have computer to tune or identify any fault.always tow the vehicle. Bad insurance tie up. Never renew with company insurance suggestions. Buy a big umbrell for your amaze in rain y season. It is acr best for service centers, they can always make money. Not for public to drive and enjoy. Worst service back up and bad top management respose for quiries and customer support.
Areas of improvement Engine has to studied well. It needa alot of technical improvement for indian roads.

Exterior It is a good come back by HONDA on the face lift. It looks very bold and Promising. no plus at the rear. The bold look in the front gives more confident like a good compact sedan. Perfect design looks likes a real sedan.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is very premium and classic . the dash board, speedometer and automatic climate gives the immense pleasure while driving. the AC vents, fuel range, fuel avaerage are all essential and inlcuded in the facelift which is added advantage, Fully loaded interior.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I bought amaze due to the CVT technology. one of the worlds proven IVTEC engine with CVT technilogy. the riding is very smooth and the performance of the engine is very good. I ride 2 times to coimbatore from bangalore i got 18 kmpl and in city bangalore till now it is 12.5. CVT is very comfortable in hectic bangalore traffic. nice and good engine. Continous variable transmission really superb and classical. It will be the future demanding technology.
Ride Quality & Handling City riding is superb. power steering supports in hard turning curves and also in traffic. Very good braking with ABS gives more confident to ride high speed. very less maintenance cost and great and comfortable riding.
Final Words Best compact sedan in its class. I strongly reccomend CVT AMAZE for families. i am sure they can enjoy the comfortable space and riding. None of the competitor car has such a big leg room.
Areas of improvement Not aggrssively priced to penetrate and to increase the market share.

Honda Amaze Usage: 3 years.
Previous diving experience: maruti 800.
Exterior Not saying much. Its upto the individual. I like the exterior look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent Space inside but very bad looking interior. AC is good. No bluetooth connectivity. Seats are of average or less comfort. The music system is average or less(for me its not a problem as I dont listen to music always.)
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy - In bangalore traffic, I get 12.5 without AC and 10.5 with AC. This i have verified over more than 300 km of drive. This is in such a traffic that more than 2/3 time of the entire journey we will be in 1st and 2nd gear. In highway drive I get 17 with AC.
Engine performance: This is worst thing about this car. Engine is not having pick up!!.. sometimes after a slowdown, the engine doesnt pull the car even in 2nd gear and even with more throttle. we feel like applying more throttle is not having any effect. The car will be moving very slowly without enough increase in speed. It will endup in blocking the other vehicles in the back and they will be honking like hell. The only solution to this is to release the clutch by raising the engine to high rpm and I have to do this always. This ends up in very uncomfortable city drive. I used to raise this concern to the dealer and they used to say that the engine is designed like that. Finally after comapring the engine spec with that of other cars, I figured out the reason - Then engine design is in such a way that at lower rpm, it issues very less torque which results in less power. Once the rpm is high, the car will be accelerating smooth.
Gearbox: Occationally I find very difficult to shift the gear to/from 1st, 2nd and reverse. I raised this also to the dealer, but they always say they did not find anything wrong while drive test. Some times it becomes too stiff that it will not move only, I have to release the clutch and apply the clutch again. This also affects the city drive a lot.
The above two points makes the city drive very much uncomfortable and having said this I will not recomment this to anyone for city drive. At high speed, the engine is smooth, less noisy and comfortable until we apply a break!. After that again the pickup problem will come if the rpm decreases because of the break :). At average speed and less traffic, I feel very comfortable drive.
Ride Quality & Handling Alreday mentioned most of the points about ride quality above. I feel that the steering control is very good.
Final Words: Not good for city drive. I feel that maruti 800 is having better pickup at lower rpm. If you are mostly driving in average traffic and average speed, I think Amaze is best suitable. At higher speeds also its like good pickup only at higher rpm.
Areas of improvement: Engine pickup. Gear transmission should be smooth.
