Freestyle Diesel is the most fun crossover you could still buy in India at this price point, and its party piece is actually the fuel economy figures you get even after some spirited driving. I manage 20kmpl+ figures without much of a fuss !! It has a beautifully balanced chassis and can easily match a Compass with the performance(acceleration, handling and braking) it offers which eventually is 2.5 times pricier !! What comes as a bonus ? 6 Airbags + Traction Control System with anti rollover protection and still undercutting its rivals in price significantly... For those who are buying Balenos and i20s after calling yourself keen drivers, you are missing the fun is all I can say. The sales figure cries a clear opinion of Indian buyers~ "Who gives a shit about performance and handling!" Cons- rear seat space, missing out on projector/led lights, less storage space inside cabin.
