I purchased this car in Varsha Ford Coimbatore. The buying experience was bitter as the showroom was new and the people working, actually had no experience. Also I was given a car which had paint touch up already done in rear bumper. Some who took delivery on DEC 2019 after lots fight with showroom ppl.
As I previously owned 2011 model figo, I expected this new figo to be better than that but I was disappointed. I loved the previous model for its driving experience and that sturdy drive, but this new car is not like that. We cannot do 3 digit speed with confidence. It feels out of control when you cross 100km/hr.
They stock MRF Tyres are worst. My car has clocked 8500km now by the time 3 Tyres are gone. 2 Tyres have small cut in the sidewall and one has few bulges on the sidewall.
The look is really good and premium. Engine noise is very low compared to the previous model and well refined. Gives a good mileage of 19 km/ lit average ( Hills, city and highway). Breaking is not that good especially in bumper to bumper traffic. Break pad is 70% worn by now. The steering is not accurate while negotiating curves and doesn't feel much connected.
Since the front end is much heavier than rear even small humps feel bumpy for the rear passenger. Strictly only 2 ppl need to sit at the rear. In case if u accommodate the third person then ur car's bottom will get a hit on each and every hump. The ground clearance is not enough for Indian roads.
Service costs seem to be okay.
Pros
- Good performance, mileage, value for money, looks, interior space, built quality.
Con's
- Not a drivers car anymore, low ground clearance, high-speed drivability not good, handling, suspension.
