Exterior Looks are good. Ford hase given good refinement to its new hatchback. The styling of new model wil last for at least nest four yaers.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In this segment figo is the most spacious car in terms of both cabin space, boot space. As far as features are concerned ford should have offered ABS version in each category just like maruti did. And rear parking sensor also should have been added.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This is the area where figo outsmarts most of the hatchback available in india. Swift, Grand i10 are nowhere near to this hatchback even it has potential to compete with Polo and i 20. Ford has put more than enough power under its bonnet. 100 bhp engine gives immense power and car gets through 150 kmph without any hiccups or any extra vibration in engine or steering. Though engine is little bit noisy but being a powerful diesel engine it's accaeptable.
So far I have driven the car 800 Kms on highways and in city both and it is giving the mileage of 19 km/liter. Gearbox is as also smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Ford has not compromised with its ride quality. Car has a good balance even at 150km/h and is a treat to ride in city also because of smooth clutch and gearbox.
Final Words A perfect car to buy in this segment which scores in all parameter whether its ride quality, handling, built quality, looks, mileage. only concern point is maintanance only which i will come to know after driving it for few years.
Areas of improvement Engine is a little bit noisy and plastice quality used inside cabin is just ok and shoulkd be improved. But this issue hardly matters in this segment as its a budget car not a super luxury Merc or BMW. When compared with its rivals like swift and grand i10 far better than both.

Exterior Very nice exterior styling, looks a mature design due to straight lines and less of funkyness compared to it's rivals. Long wheelbase and 174mm of ground clearance is best in class and effective when travelling with full load. The front headlamps are a little bit less powerful, but not an outright issue. Front and rear fog lamps, front and rear wipers do their jobs effectively, no complaints there.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is perhaps the best part of this car. The Automatic AC and the sound system are better than all it's rivals. Plastic quality is pretty good, Hyundai has a better fit finish I believe, but there is no complain in Figo too. The seats are very comfortable, spacious and leg room is too good. Titanium version comes with a seat height adjuster, which is a good value add. The interior is full of valuable storage spaces, which is very convenient. The cabin insulation is brilliant, sometimes you forget that the car is switched ON.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2 ltr engine is really nice, and I feel it has got better and better after 3500 kms with its power delivery. In bumper to bumper city traffic, it is very convenient to use. Earlier the power delivery took a couple of seconds, but after 3500 kms it has greatly improved and it's a pleasant car to drive. On highways, it's the most powerful car in the segment as the numbers suggest. It goes on well beyond 130 kmph and ensures stability.
I have driven 5000 kms so far in Bangalore traffic traffic and I'm getting a fuel efficiency of 12 kmpl, got exactly 18 kmpl on a 800 kms round trip from Bangalore to Pondicherry.
The gearbox and clutch are pretty good, no complaints.
Ride Quality & Handling The best part of this car has to be it's ride quality and handling. I have driven many other competitor cars, but none have a steering as accurate as Figo. The suspension set up is brilliant. The gearbox is a but rubbery, other cars do have lighter clutch and shorter gear shifts, but still nothing to worry in Figo. It has a comfortable ride which does not tire you in difficult traffic hours as well as on long highway trips. It feels very stable and inspires confidence while driving.
Final Words It is a very nice overall package. Good value for money. It will please you if you are a keen driver, and wait for the 1.2 ltr petrol engine to complete 5000 kms to feel the efficient power delivery on offer. None of the 1.2 petrol engine cars in the segment can completely please you in terms of power (tiago, grand i10, i20, swift, baleno, polo, jazz, etc), because all are fine tuned for linear acceleration and better mileage. But if you're driven by sheer pleasure of driving, comfort and space, then FIGO is the choice you will not regret.
Areas of improvement Ford usually makes near perfect cars, but I believe the after sales service should be improved and must be more customer oriented. I am noticing a lot of proactiveness from Ford this time and had a good experience while 1st service at Metro Ford, Bangalore. It will surely help Ford if this is not just an initiative, but a practice which is routinely followed.

Exterior The style is really good. Gives a premium feel . Head lamps have good performance during night. The boot space is really enough for a small family.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Its spacious, The steering wheel is easy to handle. Good turning radius.The sound is minimal and the audio is really good. One important feature i liked was the sync appilication with the mobile. You can attend calls and play apps in your mobile. The visibility is really good from drivers seat. 6 Airbags in Titanium Plus. The boodt has light which i felt was very essential. Then alerts you can set using Ford My Key.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good. Gear is stiff can be due to the newness.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. The disturbance from the engine is minimal.
Final Words Its a good car at this price and gives a premium feel.
Areas of improvement Can include GPS features in higher end version.

Exterior I am owner of ford figo diesel model, I really like exterior of car , it's look trandy, carvy and large in size. Earlier I was confused in Swift, i10, Baleno & Figo, after so much internet study and comparision I bought Figo and drived almost 8000 KM. I am Happy with my decision.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is fair but could be better, i found dash box little big , it could be sleek and smooth, lot of space is there but plastic used on dashborad could be better is quilty but still better than other brands in this range
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performace wise like my car very much, almost 20KM/L in city, 22 in highway.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is good but could better if seat would be more comfortable

Exterior The car looks fantastic from outside , really liked the design and the front grill, the rear is also good looking.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Thoroughly impressed with the interior, the dashboard looks nice, lots of storage spaces, ergonomically very sound everything falls in hand easily. The seat height and distance from the steering is good Leg room is ample.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1500 cc diesel engine is a delight.
Ride Quality & Handling The seats are comfortable, almost zero cabin insulation overall a joyfull ride.
Final Words Excellent package at a standard price. The diesel trend variant on road in Hyderabad is 7.23 Lacs which includes 2 air bags , steering mounted controls, my doc with aux n usb, 4 speakers , electrically adjustable rear view mirros with turn indicators.
Did a lot of research and in the B segment hatchback shortlisted Grand i10 and The New Ford Figo, Grand i10 Asta (o) has air bags, in ford you get 2 air bags with the features mentioned above and a 1500 cc engine in the Trend variant, push start stop isnt really my need. Hence ford is my choice, good interiors, rich on loooks and features, great engine and high safety features.
Areas of improvement ABS should have been an option for trend variant.

Exterior Whole new look and it is awesome. built of the vehicle is very good, the best part is on the front one kind off ashton martin. Suspension of this car is a vry much plus point, best among its compettors i feel
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) A plus in this segment, leg space is sufficient for all the seats. Driving on the driver seat pretty much comfortable. but some features like Keyless entry,Reverse Parking Sensor, GPS are missing in top variants.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It absolutely feels like heaven driving this car. there's so much pickup in 3rd and 4th gear that the car gives a feeling of absolutely being in heaven.i dont think so any other car in this segment has this much of pickup. FORD has kept up to its name of delivering some power packed cars like IKON,Fiesta, old Figo.
Fuel Economy : i have a Diesel Variant and right now my car's mileage shows upto 13.8 kmpl (i have driven around 1200 kms till now, first service is due after 2500kms), wanna know if this will be improved after the service? anyone facing this kind of mileage problem?? please let me know

Exterior Fantastic looks, eye turner (oxford white), the grill is amazing..... macho look
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Even for the trend variant tons of goodies inside the bluetooth connectivity, steering mounted controls and my dock being a few, lots of space, enough for 5 to travel, Cabin insulation is great as well
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine lacks the pull, even more so with the AC on, very hard to overtake using the linear accelertaion, that said engine is a peach, noise is almost non existent. FE 14.6 after 1500kms. Gear box is to die for, shifts are silky smooth. P.S low end torque insufficent.
Ride Quality & Handling rides just fine, streeing feels good but something about it feels not sufficent

My association with Figo goes back to around 5 years back when i purchased it simply for its good looks, i`m fond of squarish structures.....Even today i don`t have any issue with the looks, it still beats new India designed vehicles by miles.
My issue is with the mechanism comprising engine,gearbox, transmission and suspension.In the last 3 years, since it started giving trouble, almost all major components have been replaced one by one. Every now and then it goes to the Authorized Service Station, another name for organised cheating. Either these cars are not made for Indian conditions or simply they are very bad as far as engineering is concerned.
Every time something goes down in the car, what accentuates the problem is the fact that no spare parts are available in the outside market. The agency charges exhorbitatntly. As a recent example, the therostat housing and a water hose costs upward of Rs. 10000, which will normally cost somewhere around 2000 for any other car, sans the Mercedes. A front axle seal change with labor cost 2000 Rs.With low no. of cars sold in the market and a business to run, the agency owners are hell bent on extracting the last rupee from the customer`s pocket. It is my firm belief that they start the next problem in motion when you go to them with the current problem. They are a bunch of cheats trying to sell bad products and dishonest services through extensive marketing.

It is my sincere advice to readers to not to buy any Ford products. These may be good overseas but not here in India.
