Hi... The following review is after using the Titanium Petrol version of Figo 1.2L for almost 2 months and driven 2100kms with approx 70% usage on highway
Exterior Looks great in its class with the impecable Aston Martin classic grill in the front. Does make your wheels look like a beast instead of a girly look compared to competition.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Comfortable and spacious enough for a small nucllear family.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Although a 1.2 L petrol engine is supposed to zippy. The ford figo lacks it in the city/highway if your AC is on. which is a big negative even if you are trying to pull up on a high way or a steepy area. The engine takes its own sweet time to charge up and get moving even if you try to push the throtlle/accelerator.
Fuel economy even on highways is a dispointing to a max of 12Km/L ,in the city cant expect more than 8 or 9km/L.
Ride Quality & Handling Great ride quality and no issues in handling.
Final Words If the above negatives are fixed the Figo will be the best seller in its class.
Areas of improvement Engine NEEDS TO BEE RESPONSIVE and QUICKER WITH AC's ON.

I always wanted to buy a Ford car. They are always a great vehicle in ride and handling, safety, stylish exterior aninnovative interior. I was very desperate to buy the First generation Figo. But I ended up with Maruti Suzuki Vdi Diesel as my first car. No Big complaints though except the fact that it has no airbags. I used it for more than 125000 kms under 4 and half years, thought its time for a change.
Looked at Grand i10, Nissan Micra, i20 Elite,Swift Diesel and when Ford launched the second Generation Figo, took a test drive and took the decision to go for it and got a 1.5L Diesel Titanium plus oxford white colour delivered on 2nd November 2015 as a gift for my First wedding anniversary.
I have used 1500 km until now. It is a pleasure to drive this vehicle around city in a Bumper to Bumper traffic (don't have to shift gears often). With Sync technology, once me and my phone gets inside then everything is hands free,you don't have to take your eyes of the road for making/recieving a call. It is very confident on highways even at speeds excess of 150 kmph as it unleashes the power of 100 PS and 215 Nm torque without any lag which can be seen explicit in my earlier vehicle.
Overall with a combination of easy manouverability in city and highly responsive in Highways of course with excellent mileage (17-18 kmpl for Bumper to Bumper traffic and 22-23 kmpl for highway driving), with technologies that doesn't let your eyes of the road while doing other tasks and most important safety with 6 Airbags. It is a great value for Money. I would recommend new car buyers to go for Ford Figo. Please do not get dragged by benefits given by other car manufacturers. Give priority to safety and safe driving.
Exterior Great looking car, escpecially the front Fascia with Astom Martin like Grill, Strong built and rear styling also looks good. It would have been better if Ford would have given 15 inch alloy wheel and HID lamps for Titanium plus version. It will look great for this vehicle. I am planning to get it from after market.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior feels great for the money, very spacious, and lot of storage options. Air-conditioning/cliamte control is best in class which lagged in my previous vehicle. Cabin is very quiet thanks to the good noise insulation. You will not be able to hear engine noise until 100 kmph with the climate control and Audio ON on highways. Audio system is very clear with controls available on steering wheel, you can change tracks, radio stations without taking eyes of the road. Boot space is pretty decent and rear seats are very comfortable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox One of the best Engine in this segment and powerful and very much responsive without big compromise on Fuel economy ;dont feel like driving a diesel car. Gearbox is very much smooth, don't need to shift gears often in bumper to bumper traffic.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent ride and handling. Suspension takes on the potholes very smoothly, With the increased ground clearance than the first generation Figo and higher than my first car. I am able to take off-roads and drive on water logged roads with great confidence.

Seems they released new ford figo with out proper testing . Engine had pick up issues .
Bought CAR in Nov2015 .
Raised the pick up issue ( car is not moving more than 10kmph for 5-10km in middle of drive ) service team said that it is known issue with software and they are going to fix it now . while delivering after 1st service had Engine Check warning on Dashboard and they said it was normal .
Visited 3 time after that to Showroom to resolve this issue nothing went weel .
Today car is not starting up when I called Ford Customer care they said they will look into this.
When techinsian came and visited the car said that has Relay issue .
Thinking Now Why I choosed Ford figo . Ford might have tested Vechile before going into production .
Writing review on FEB 20 2016. Usage of 4 months had major issues starting issue , pick up issue , Display warning .
Don't know how many I am will face in future . Frustated with Ford figo.

Made my mind for this car on first visit to Ford showroom. Had to cancel booking of Huyndai Grand I10 Diesel :) ; Driven more than 1000 Km in very first month and no complaints what so ever rather pleasure to drive ereryday. I would say GO FOR DIESEL FIGO version.

Complete Black interior with grey/silver patches in between which compliments the car and easy to maintain. Very comfortable Seating and internal Space.

One of the best Engine in this segment and powerful and very much responsive ;dont feel like driving a diesel car. yet it deliver Good fuel economy. Gearbox is very much sorted out and could have been more lighter.

Ride Quality is excellent too; Steering is superlight and smooth. good suspension which takes care of bad India Roads. Stable on heigher speeds. You will definately love to drive on HIGHWAYS :)

Exterior Exteriors are awesome in the sparkling gold color. There are couple of panel gaps at the rear, but they do not spoil the look. The exterios are so good that I be admiring at its style
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The back seat space is superb. Boot space is generous too. The audio quality is good too. The interior lighting at night is awesome to look.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.2l Ti-VCT petrol engine is supersmooth and refined. It gives a good fuel economy of 14 in the city with out ac and 12 with ac. In the highways it gives an impressive 17 km/l.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride quality is very good. The car has super noise insulation. The engine is almost soundless from inside. You can hear it only when you rev it hard.
Final Words It is a car one should buy in the compact hatchback segment.
Areas of improvement Trend varient should get Front fog lamps. Plastics used could have been better.

Exterior Excellent from design! The car looks and feels premium!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plastic used could have been better. Otherwise it's very neatly done. The cabin feels very up-market.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.5 Tdci feels like heaven! The car reaches 150 kmph in no time and can be pushed till 170-180 kmph. The gear box is exceptionally smooth for a diesel car. I feel the odometer and MFD is bit small. I have driven almost 500kms and in general the CITY AVERAGE IS 20-21 km/l and HIGHWAY it is around 22-23 km/l. In a nut shell it feels better than i20 elite crdi when it comes to power, economy and ride quality.
Ride Quality & Handling Pretty good. The suspension is very nice! cabin is nicely insulated. Electronic steering is very very light at low speeds and is very manoeuverable, although at higher speeds it feels bit heavy. But it's fine. The AC is very very powerful! Lots of leg room! The ride quality is top notch! Ford my dock is awesome to use !! Amazing!
Final Words As compared to i10 grand or swift this car is a WINNER in all departments. I was confused between i20 elite and figo, and after doing a lot of research and test drives i chose figo over i20 elite, and it's worth it . It has more features than i20 on a 8 lakh budget. Plus, figo is 1.5 lakh cheaper than i20 and comes with 6 airbags !
Areas of improvement More promotions of the car. Plastic quality can be improved. Dual tone interior could have been better . Adjustable rear neck rest.

My purchase of New Ford Figo was really unexpected. Neither I was a big fan of Ford nor Figo. Infact I don't like the old Figo because of the interiors eventhough it was a good car compared to swift in terms of ride and handling.But all of a sudden I got to know about this car and the looks got me attracted towards it.
Then I started researching about the Ford history in India and its customer service, maintenance cost etc. All of us know that Ford's maintenance would be higher compared to Maruti or Hyundai's but now with the localization of the production and spare parts the maintenance is as cheap as Maruti. May be a touch higher than Maruti but definitely lower than Hyundai and VW.
And What I came to know from the research is Ford has followed "Smart Engineering" in Ecosport,Figo / Aspire. It means that they are making lots of child parts which does reduce the maintenance costs. Like if we have a problem with any specific part we can only replace that particular part instead of replacing the whole assembly. That's really smart unlike in Maruti and especially in Hyundai where the servicemen says to replace the whole assembly for even a small nut/bolt.
I test drove this car 6 times to test it in every angle. Believe me guys you"ll really go mad with its power, handling, braking and build quality. May be you'll get better interiors in i20 / Polo / Baleno but you can never compare these with the Ford Figo's performance and Handling. It is by far the fastest, Safest and Fuel efficient hatch under <8L.
Coming to refinement levels it feels somewhat noisy than Elite I20 [Very refined engine] at stand still but you wont feel that noise at all while running infact the cabin insulation is better than that of Elite i20.
The customer service of Ford is surprprisingly good compared to Maruti / Hyundai. If the dealership is not responding well just raise a complaint to Ford and leave the rest upon them. U'll be surprised to know the quickness in their response and they will take it very seriously.
Just think before buying the regular swifts,i20's. Whatever deci.sion you take keep it in view the safety which is priceless. I feel that Ford Figo is the best hatch in the segment now in terms of Safety, power, FE and Handling
The areas of improvement I can suggest for Ford are Brand Advertising/Awareness, Interior quality (Hyundai like) and better dealership response.

Exterior This car looks elegant in every aspect.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Performance of Air condition is pleasant with enough space & comfort. Gear shifting indicator is one of the feature that I liked the most.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Works smoothly in second gear even in tight traffic condition. It’s been a month I got the car delivered and getting average of 10km/ltr in the city(Bangalore) traffic condition. This might be improved after first service.
Ride Quality & Handling Good road grip. Nice braking system.
Final Words I purchased oxford white Titanium model (Petrol) in Bangalore. I think this is one of the best car in its segment with adequate safety features. Body build quality is great. This car has got high-tensile steel cage which I feel one of the most important to have in all Indian cars. This car meets all my expectation. I’m just loving it.
Areas of improvement This car should have come with rear parking sensor. (This barely costs Rs 1k-1.5k if you install it outside).
