Having driven the entire competition for long drives, I can confidently state the Ecosport is the winner undoubtedly. The 1.5 TDCI is a pure gem and has been tuned perfectly for optimum power delivery and torque. You never know feel left wanting for more. However the new XUV 3OO has set the benchmark for power and torque numbers on paper, but the real world performance is to be seen. The Brezza may be the market leader but its build quality leaves a lot to be desired and this was one of the primary reasons for choosing the Ecosport. Where the Ecosport takes the cake is in the ride and handling department, the vehicle is absolutely sure-footed and is a drivers car unlike the competition.
However let's be advised that the Ecosport is most comfortable searing 4; to seat 3 people in the rear is a bit of a squeeze and this is definitely a con.
The TREND+ TDCI is the best VFM and has most of the features of Titanium and that's why we chose it. The Ford Sync 3 infotainment system is miles ahead of the competition.
Overall, the Ecosport has quality written all over it and is a reassuring car which is also fun to drive. This makes the minor issues totally pardonable. The proof of the pudding is when you close the door, there is a reassuring and positive thud which makes you feel safe unlike a rattling tin-box sound.
Enjoy the Ecosport :)
