      Writing this review after 3 months of purchase and after completing 2.5k km in city driving If you are considering EcoSport as your next purchase please read this very carefully.. I own a manual diesel version.. I shifted to this car from swift dzire diesel which I drove for 1lac+ km with complete satisfaction I will start with EcoSport negatives area as the list is long ;-) Performance is below average - it misses out that punchy thrust you expect from 1.5L, overtaking needs bit of calculation which is not at all confidence aspiring :-( my dzire was a rocket .. missing you baby.. Fuel average is 15kmpl which I think is poor If you are buying diesel version for some savings in running department.. i own Skoda tank built diesel car which gives 18kmpl with heavy foot .. way better than EcoSport.. Drivability is POOR... Heavy clutch will make your life miserable .. initial 500 km it felt normal but gradually became heavy and now I'm feeling why the hell I spent 10L for such uncomfortable vehicle interms of driving :-( waiting for first service to have this checked.. Breaks are not that confident aspiring.. this nose diving behaviour of vehicle will applying breaks will surely leave you in shock... I am also facing issues when applying breaks on rough roads .. the break paddle behaves abnormal while pressing n shakes a bit with some scary sound .. will get it checked in my first service :-( very disappointed here.. Other than above most important points.. there are few small silly issues..like the alarm sound speaker has gone bad .. the voice has distorted sound .. funny Even after having double barrel headlamps the visibility isn't that great.. since day one of purchase wipers making skidding sound on front glass :-( due to which had annoying experience throughout the monsoon season.. driver arm rest is just of no use .. ford could have taken it off rather .. stupid placement of this very useful thing .. What all I wrote above are some very important factors you will have in your mind while buying a car.. I don't know why my judgement failed when I was out for a purchase :-( Now let's see some positive points I noticed in the car which actually does not justify the cost of the car but still makes you feel happy sometime :-) Touchscreen with voice commands is supremely good.. it's fluidic responsive with great audio output.. Seating position is very comfortable.. Air-conditioning system works like charm . Great cooling capacity Minimal body roll while making sharp corners cuts Well nothing more good coming up in my mind for this vehicle as you get these things in lesser priced cars as well .. so why to spend 10L here I have been driving from last 19 yrs now and have owned following cars - Maruti 800 / Zen / Esteem / Hyundai i20 diesel / Swift Dzire Diesel / Skoda Rapid Diesel / followed by this recent purchase of Ford EcoSport.. My strong recommendation would be either Brezza or Nexon if entering this segment of vehicle.. it will give you value for your money and trust me they are far punchier cars if you are an enthusiast driver .. EcoSport needs lot of improvement to compete with then Goodbye for now .. Drive safe !

      Product is not as per price. After sales service is more than very poor. Nobody is bothered about customer. Don't ever think of buying. Ignore the looks and exterior of vehicle otherwise u will keep going to the service centre forever. Company is least bothered about customers money and time. Very poor experience.

      Gyus please dont buy this car. Ford is such a idiot company. Such a shit in real terms. And tgos product is seriously nothing less than a shit. Only 7300km ran its Goodyear tyre got burst. On complaint they are saying becaise you ran on the road tyre got burst. Plus shockers failed too.. Please dont buy this car. For god sake. This company will loot you at every point od time. At time of purchase tgey say they are goving two year waranty, and now they are saying tyres are not covered and shockers were not at fault when they sold this fucking car. Ford is real thug of hindustan. Please dont buy dont waste your hardearned money.

      I have got Ecosports Signature edition just few months back. I literally feel like in aeroplane when I drive it. Amazing experience with delighted exterior and comfortable interior. Fuel consumption is comparatively good. This awesome piece has perfect grip on road and awesome look to catch eyes of people around.

      Brought it in Hyderabad I’m very loved about it’s built quality Riding experience was very good and boot space was so much . Maintaining a ford car not much expensive as compared to other but I’m happy for buying it Diamond white colour. Maintenance is somewhat high as compared to Suzuki or Honda. Ground clearance is high and best build quality and comfortable seats. Very bad mileage at city and highway But everything is fine but so much engine noise

Riding exp.-The confort is very excellent ,The balance of this car is great while at high speed ,stability, power.it gives a exp.of home.so reliable Lookes like anewly designed not ordenary new ,exciting Servicing is good ,maintained no work issue with the car ,some frequent services Pro -new designed, stablity ,a space ,screen on dashboard, extra wheel carrier against puncher , compact suv,colour opt. Cons only engine sound has to improve

      I was awaiting for the facelifted version since 2017 and booked it as soon as it came. Its the best car you can buy under 10lakhs. The new dragon petrol engine is well refined and does a 0-100 in almost 10 seconds. Performance and handling are jaw dropping. Com justfort and ride quality is amazing. The interior is spacious and with the new 6.5inch ford sync 3 enabled infotainment system, the car offers great practicality. The pros are Endless. The only drawback is that the engine gives a poor mileage in city driving (8-10kmpl) but in highway it went all the way to 14-16.8 kmpl . Service costs are affordable and since ford is pretty reliable your visit to the workshop is limited :)

      I was 61 when I bought this car, in 2015. With just my wife and I to use this car most times, I could not have made a better choice. The seat was perfect, high enough to afford a great driving view of the road, and easy to enter and get off, without great effort and strain on the knees. I prefer driving fast, but as I live in Kerala, where roads are narrow for the most part, I get to give free rein to my desire for speed when I go across the border to Tamilnadu. I have driven this through the hilly tracts of Coorg, Kerala, and Tamilnadu and have always found that the car responded with enthusiasm. The grip, the braking, the acceleration - all aspects of the drive has given me satisfaction. I am nearing 60,000 kms and I am about to change the tires, for the first time. The car averages between 15 to 18.5 kms in the city to long drive modes. 5 periodic services were devoid of any anxiety, with service cost around 4 - 5,000 rupees. A dent on the rear left side fender was easily repaired with no great cost. I travel to the US often, and the car packs 4 very large suitcases and 2 carry on bags easily, and with my chauffeur dropping me and picking me up, I find that this is the perfect car for me. My car model is succeeded now by a slightly more powerful version, I think. It would have added to my satisfaction, especially on some steep slopes in Kodaikanal, but I have no complaint as it is. A better choice, I could not have made

      I purchased Ford ecosport on 23rd Feb'18. Completed one year and completed one year service too. Pros: Chose the car for good looks, loads of features & brand. However learnt the hard way - do not be blinded by looks only, pls check and compare other better options available in this segment. A piece of free advice- purchase diesel variants and say no to petrol sucking variants.Will not suggest anyone to go for Ford Ecosport. Cons: I purchased ford ecosport facelift titanium petrol variant on 23rd Feb'18. I am very disappointed about the mileage.I was told at 3 different showrooms city mileage would be around 13kmpl . I was getting 8kmpl but after 1st free service at Hans ford the mileage dropped and I have been consistently getting only 7.2-7.6kmpl. Informed Dealer who said wait till 5000kms and we will sort it. However nothing happened and mileage did not improve. They suggested mileage test. One year service gave to Dhruvan ford and told them about mileage problem. They informed in city it should give 10kmpl at least & problem will be fixed in service. After service they suggested mileage test so I agreed. We were supposed to drive 100kms and check mileage but due to poor coordination of supervisor with his staff the process was delayed and mileage was checked in city for 50kms ,at non peak hours without switiching on AC( apparently mileage test should be done without AC was what the person said as AC is luxury) allowing their driver to drive at speed to 50-60 ,resulting in a mileage of 9.6kmpl. I get 7.2-7.6 driving in peak traffic at 30-40 speed. Also auto lock was not happening which was highlighted to Dhruvan ford and their driver too informed the supervisor. They said everything is software driven so it will be updated. However nothing happened and after informing service centre they had no reply to that and said they have done their best. Bottom- line lots of false promises _ If anyone from Ford is reading this I would like to bring to your attention - STOP FOOLING PEOPLE.Give them the actual facts and I will be surprised if anyone will buy from Ford. Other Cons: Highway I get 14-15 which is not that bad. Sluggish 2nd gear ,stiff suspension and space constraint for 5th person in rear seat. Overall comfort wise barring 5th passenger, and looks best in the segment, mileage wise very poor performer, which makes me wonder did I make a wrong choice. Areas to Improve: Mileage, mileage mileage..........,rear AC vents- though it is said the AC is very powerful, in summers the rear seat passengers face discomfort and fan speed has to increased to 4 points, else they do not get proper AC.

      I would say close your eyes and buy it. The reviews I saw here about mileage, I can't believe. Overall I am getting 15 KMPL and in highways at 18 KMPL. I am challenging the mileage. The only thing is that you have to drive first few thousand Kms between 50 to 60 KMPL. If you start driving new vehicle at more than 100 KMPL, there is no point on complaining company or car for low mileage. All performance of your car's future depends on how you drive the first few Kms. Hope this helps you in your decision making.
