Exterior Excellent. Futuristic design.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent. New intrument cluster is very informative & helps in getting good mileage in diffrent conditions. Tyre pressure monitor is quite helpful too.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent. I got 24 Km/L mileage in city condition. I drove Ford Ecosport Facelift Titanium plus diesel for about 1500 kms in approx 1 month.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent.

Areas of improvement Rear seat leg space, Puddle lamp turning off in day time, rear seat bottle holders, engine noise in cabin.
1000+ km driven in city traffic. it is giving a mileage of 24.0 Km/L (crossed checked manually). There are numerous positive points & a few negatives, which are-
1. Steering could have been lighter like Honda/Hyundai.
2. Puddle lamps do not turn off during day time.
3. Engine noise filtering in cabin could have been reduced more.
4. Rear door bottles can not be taken out of the door without opening the door.

Value for money though we can not call it a full size SUV. One month of experience of ford ecosport facelift titanium 1.5L VCT Pentrol. Superb look of compact and sporty exterior. Interior features very good. Mostly drove in city traffic. Good driving postion. Seat comfort is excellent. Car audio quality is wonderful. Lesser noice from outside in the cabin. Convexity of side view mirror helps to fill blind spots. Different colours of ambient lighting is best. Touch screen and its features are beyound words. Instrument cluster is very informative and also help us to get best of our driving. Initially there might be a bit of confusion with the controls and the menus, but once you get used to it, there are no concerns and everything is very smooth. Gearshift from 1st to 2nd is slightly difficult. May be because of new vehicle? Tyre rolling noice slightly enters inside the cabin. 1498 CC is really makes it a powerful machine to scale the uphills.
Excellent style & spacious. 8" Touch Screen is excellent and very much user friendly.Gear shift from Ist to 2nd is slightly rough. May be my vehicle has run only a few kmsइक्सटीरियर/स्टाइल्स

Exterior is fine, looks masculine & sturdy. feel safe while riding on it. Flat Fish fin antenna may be used instead of approx 10 inch long antenna, as it makes problem while dusting/ covering the vehicle.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Rear Camera, GPS must be provided in at least Titanium & higher models. Rear Middle seat foot place is tidy & makes problem. Boot space is good, Music system is fine. Space is OK however less than Creta. Drivers hand rests should be adjustable as it is of no use when you keep your seat near to stearing.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gear shift is tight & not as per brand image of Ford, fuel economy is OK as claimed, Engine thrust is excellent, it keeps you ahead of others, Braking is good however makes noise when used instantly, it may be the charecteristics of Disc brakes, Engine noise is harsh at lower speed. Diesel engine creates puffs & circles of dark smoke when starts, may be all diesel engine behave in the same way.
Ride Quality & Handling Shaandar, Good command over sharp curves, gives a good feel while driving.
Final Words Overall good riding experience, may be termed as value for money vis a vis to other available options.
Areas of improvement Ford can think over providing some little little value additions as discussed above. These changes may not be expensive and can give more value for money to Ford lovers.

Exterior The 2018 Signature edition is a treat to the eyes and sure to catch attention with its solid road presence and butch Ford SUV design borrowed from its bigger siblings, the new headlight design with DRL gives a mean machine look like no other car. The new Diamond cut alloy wheels is sure to turn some heads around. Impressive color options especially the lightning blue looks amazing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Absolutely stunning Interiors and attention to details just gives it that upmarket feel, be it the leather-wrapped steering or the blue interior accents and even the matching blue stitching on the seats will constantly remind you that you are ina premium luxury car. There is ample space in the front and back with amazing thigh support which is very important to Indians. most cars will give you a little more legroom compromising on thigh support which in a long drive will give a fatigue feeling but in this, since the rear seat is at a perfect height and ample thigh support and just about right amount of legroom is perfect for any Indian upto 6 -6.1 if taller the person would be comfortable in the front seat.
Adding to all this is the new sunroof which in itself is an awesome feature and i wish they made this standard on all editions.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The 1.5L TDCI Diesel engine is a pleasure to drive, the power to weight ratio is perfect and the gears are very smooth and delivers power in an instant.and the 100PS of power makes sure you dont need to keep changing gears that often and that makes it better in city drives, on highways it will surpass creta or duster with eyes closed.
Ride Quality & Handling The only issue I have with this car is its ride quality, due to its tall design it creates a fair amount of body roll and due to its 17 inch alloy and low profile tyres you will feel deep potholes, the A Pillar is very thick and creates severe Blind spots but other than that it feels very plush and luxurious.the 9 inch infotainment system is just amazing a feature-packed gives that modern right out of fiction feel to the interiors.
Safety wise it is industry leading and no other manufacturer gives soo many features at this price.
EPAS: Electric Power Assist Steering, ABS: Anti-lock Braking system, EBS: Electronic Brake Force Distribution, ESP: Electronic Stability Program, TCS: Traction Control System, HLA: Hill Launch Assist. (you can google each for its functions).
Final Words The 2018 ford ecosport with the completely redesigned interior and exterior coupled with its safety feature and punchy engine is a sheer joy to own and drive by any standards.
Areas of improvement No android auto, apple car play in base models and signature edition, leather seats should be given from titanium editions, better suspension tuning to handle Indian roads and lower body roll. add the 6-speed gearbox to diesel variants.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This gives only 7kmpl. I complained to Ford service center and they told that for petrol variant we should not expect more and they cannot do anything for it. Don’t understand why they tell economy of 12-14 during sale. They should honestly tell it as 7.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is bad due to very stiff suspension. All small potholes are felt inside car. Even my old nano has better suspension than this car. Again service guys told that they cannot do anything for this.
Final Words Ford cars are cheaper than competition for features and spec they offer. So you get what you pay. I will not recommend this car.
Due to these qualities I tried to sell off the car However Max price I got is 9L for 13.5L on road car. That’s immediate depreciation of 4.5 L on 2 month old car. So forget any resale value for this car.
