      Those having ford diesel engine are very much familier with the excess engine oil consumption of the desiel engine in Ecosports, Figo, Aspire and Classic. The engine consumes the complete engine oil within 7000 km use after servicing.

      I have my ecosport Titanium model within warranty. After running 32000 km the problem started. I got my engine replaced with some covered under warranty and some purchase. I pay Rs15000 for the change. But the new engine also is hinting the same problem which will come out within some thousand drive.

      My friend one have a fiesta classic and the other have a figo tell me that they also suffer the same problem and they are out of warranty so they requires around 90000 to get their engine replaced. Carwale being a trusted site for all costomers, I woud like to request you to make it popular about the ford vehicles.

      Because they are cheating the peoples. They keep the problem hidden as the sufferers do to sell their vehicle to other. I am also planning to sell my car immediately without informing about the operation made to my car. This is what going on with all ford customers. As per the dealer they says that the alone have changed around 120 engines within 2 years.

      If one delear can do this just calculate how many dealers are there in the country and how much vehicles have gone through the operation, still they are selling their vehicles. Their are no one to raise their voice.

      Have taken an ford ecosport in jan the new one facelift diesel titanium + .After long wait and comparing safety aspects .The point now is the suspension is not effective ,body roll , passenger discomfort due to jerks even in Norma roads at slow speeds / bouncy inside not expected for this kind of price

      I want to bring this to your notice that I have purchased a FORD ECOSPORT 1.5 DEISEL TITANIUM MODEL on 28 February 2018. Vehicle number - UP32 XXXXXX. AFTER 4-5 days suddenly a snag developed in the vehicle.

      Display was showing as STEERING MALFUNCTION SERVICE REQUIRED and airbag, abs, and handbrake and other signs were blowing on the odometer screen. I brought the vehicle at your service station where they gave me several excuses and stated that your vehicle wiring might have been damaged by rats, which was not found after examination.

      And the problem was of loose wiring, which was resolved thereafter. Again today the same problem has arised. I want to know is this the quality of vehicle you are delivering. How can i rely on this vehicle. How can i take this vehicle on long route. The price you people are charging is not very less. What should i do now.

      I want clarification from you asap. Tomorrow again I will have to take this cheap quality vehicle at your service centre for no reasons except bad quality. I will post this review on all the portals related to vehicles. Rest you people take care.

      1. Buying Experience - I have purchased ford ecosport titanium petrol manual transmission from Modern Ford Alwar. Overall experience was good as all staff were supportive and the key was given by Sales Manager. 2. Riding Experience - Initially I was hesitant to buy 3 cylinder petrol motors as I felt that there will be more vibrations in that, but after taking the test drive it is almost similar to 4 cylinder engine, there is no vibration at all in this engine and it is as good as 4 cylinder engine. You can do a city riding easily in 3rd gear without shifting any gears as this car has higher torque. 3. Looks, Performance - Look wise this car is better then it's rivals say both Vitarra Brezza and Nexon. The DRL along with chrome grill gives it's a unique and macho look.Performwise it is a powerful car, you will get 100 kmph at 2750 rpm and 80 kmph at 2000 rpm. I touched it to 160 kmph in highways and believe me it was so stable and gives me confidence that my decision for purchasing this car was correct. I am getting a mileage of 16-17 in highways and 13-14 in mild city traffic. As in my city the difference between petrol and diesel is only 3, So buying a petrol motor was worth it. Service & Maintaice - Have done first service and believe me it's service cost is less then even Maruti Suzuki DZire.The maintaince cost of this car is 28000 for 6 years or 60000 km. Pros & Cons : At this price point of view it's value for money . Earlier my plan was to purchase Hyundai Creta but that was 3 lakh more costlier then this. Now I feel that my decision is right as I will have all the features as that of creta. The plus point above crear is that this is more efficient then creta. Another plus point is it's built quality, Ford uses Boron Steel in the complex areas which is four times stronger then normal steel. Notice the sound when you close the door of this car and you will know how much better built quality this car has. The only con I found in this car is that rear passenger seat space is less as compared to rivals. For 3 persons , it is difficult to do a long journey but at this point of price it is really a VFM car. Just go to ford dealership boom a test drive and then take decision , you will never regret after purchasing this car

      I was purchasing Create 1.4 deisel car but after driving new Facelift eco sport I changed my mind to this car because of handling, breaking, drivability & durability all factors are just better in this segment.......and after all value for money too where in creta you have to spend atleast 3lakh more to get same features. Facelift is the best in class.

      I’m driving Ford EcoSports Titanium+ AT petrol 2018 model since a month. I’m loving the drivability n performance quality of this car. It gives u a Macho attitude feeling like u r driving a ford Endeavour. The new Dragon engine pickup is smooth like an luxury car. If u r confused between Creta/Brezza/TUV300/Nexon/Jeep compass then Trust me guys go for Ford EcoSports coz it’s VALUE FOR MONEY n you get all the best features in this car - EBD, TCS, Hill control assist, rain sensing vipers n many more within your budget.

      Terrible mileage I must say, haven't got mileage above 6kmpl. A lorry will give better mileage, none of my other vehicles have such a bad mileage. Ripping off people telling you get 14. Not even getting half. Please don't buy this for mileage unless you have a deep pocket for petrol. I have an automatic and gear got stuck twice in the middle of the road, never heard of such disgusting issues.

      Let me come to the point. I bought this vehicle on 17/8/18 and ran only a very few kilometres (approximately 1450 kms). Before that I need to tell you that I'm not a rash driver .I drive very slowly in bad roads and passes through gutter at a very slow speed.I did all these as a precaution that one of my friends own a 2018 Feb model.While traveling in his car I heard some rattling sounds from the dashboard console and when I asked him about this.He said that the facelifted models have such issues and it can be repaired.So by knowing all this I started driving my car very carefully (Like a baby).But still from the day of purchase the car is showing some rattling sound which I experienced in my friends car.Hearing this I took the car to the service station at Kollam to fix the issue,they refixed the driver side door panel and the centre arm rest.Then the problem came solved but now another rattling sound has arised from the centre of the dashboard console.What to say had to run to service centre for fixing the issue and I'm afraid of being a frequent visitor.Rediculous !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame on you Ford!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      Riding experience: I bought Ecosport 1.5 L Diesel Titanium last Saturday . I have driven some 400 kms. I find the drive is not comfortable , may be due to stiff suspension or any other reason . Even @ slow speeds , driving over speed breakers / humps produces too much of body movement and jerks. Am I missing anything ? Did i buy a wrong vehicle ?

      Recently I had purchased Ford Ecosport Titanium S Diesel Vehicle in Dhruvan Ford Chennai Kovilambakkam Show room on 14th Dec 2018. When I took test ride of the vehicle they clearly informed me like rear seat of the vehicle can be fold completely to load more luggage and they also said this feature is only available in Ford Ecosport Titanium Plus and Titanium S variant. So I decided to go for Titanium S as I used to carry more luggage which is the top most end in this variant which cost around 14.5 Lakhs . I also considered some other vehicle to short list which are 1 or 2 Lakhs less than this vehicle. But mainly I need a vehicle which can carry more luggage on my trips so I decided to go for Ford Ecosport Titanium S . After my vehicle delivery I noticed rear seat is not foldable completely and I called to Dhruvan ford and asked about it they said now it is not foldable and we are not aware of it as ford didn’t mentioned anything about this part change and they also confirmed me one or 2 customers who took delivery in December also has the same issue. So I thought it may be a Part issue from Ford Manufacturing unit and I raised a issue ticket for the same they had created a issue id 0800240885 . And while I raised a ticket on 26th December 2018 even ford customer care peoples confirmed me that rear seat can be foldable completely . that feature is available in my vehicle and they said they will check with dealer and part availability to replace the same . So I was in a hope like it is due to some manufacturing issue so they can replace my part. Please note this part change was not aware to any of the dealers in Chennai till 25th dec. So I thought it is definitely a part issue so it can be replaced. When I called and asked for update on my issue 31st December Mr. Vadivelu from ford customer care Chennai said it is a change which made on October 10th 2018 and due to dealers carelessness they didn’t informed me and they cant do anything on this issue and they responded very harsh like they cant do anything I need to use the vehicle which they delivered without feature. Please note ford india had not released any of the press release or in their websites about this change till I enquired until 31st December. They are claiming like they informed dealers but dealers missed to inform me. They gave me cool reply like they cant do anything on this except making a note about this. When I enquired about this to Chennai Ford Adambakkam they also confirmed me without informing us ford india has made this change and many customer has this issue. Coming to the point Ford india dint given free Vehicle to me to use as it is without missing features. I purchased the vehicle for 14.5 lakhs which is a huge money. In this issue both dealers and Ford india got benefited by selling this vehicle to me without features mentioned to me on booking. And I cant change this vehicle as I may be in huge loss if I sell this vehicle now. I am only affected and really I am very stressed as I got cheated by the dealer and ford india. They are simply saying they cant do anything by keeping mistakes on their side. This is not a small feature change to leave as it is . It’s a big part change which was made without informing in anything.
