Best deal / VFM at 10.5 lacs (on road) for all such amazing specs and features

Exterior

Great looks (Ford has followed basics of asrhetics"human being likes aerodynamic curves" which we learnt during our engineering), perfect position of spare wheel (great job by engineersif we compare with Quanto), solid built ( you can feel it with door closing noise), tho my wife didn't like it from front side but if u look from rear it's awesome, good quality cladding

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Modern age interiors, everything inside give it feel of techno(new era) car, push button, sync, speed sensing volume control,cooled glove box, bluetooth, homesafe headlamps, 6 airbags, ABS and few other safety measures.....currently I am own 1997 Maruti 800 (where a/c is only luxury) so looking forward for delivery of my Ecosport with all these features :)...tho I use to drive my in law's Swift ZXI or brother in law's POLO....During test drive I overtook all the vehicles within those 5 km tst drive patch efffortlessly and made up my mind to book this car...

When you are on driver's seat, it gives you real feel of SUV with height at which you are sitting (u can see where ur bonet ends if you go for higher version which provides driver seat height adjustment)...

Also I think there is slight problem / blind spot on driver's right side similar to SX4 but not an issue on straight roads....may be at junctions driver needs to get use to for right hand side visibility..

Rear space is bit conjusted for 3 adults but 80% of time I am alone drive my car, 10% my wife use to drive and 10% we go out on weekends with family of 3 (rarely 5 if mom n dad with me in Pune)...may be concern for bigger families but also need to think how many times we all travel together...

Rear leg room is considerably large ( obviously wheelbase of 2520 mm)...spring loaded rear parcel tray gives this car sporty feel ( i liked this concept a lot )

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Finely tuned engine, quck response, no problem at all to avertake any vehicle...

Expecting above 15kmpl...let us see ( my current car gives me 10kmpl and that too petrol )....

Gear shfting is really smooth just like Hyundai cars...

 

Ride Quality & Handling

Slight body roll comapred with duster, very very light steering wheel ( my wife will definitely love this as she couldn't experience test drive of ecosport as she lost her drvers licence recently )

 

Final Words

Real value for money, definitely u will get all those features which are normally availabe in vehicles in the range of 15-16 lacs...I was almost about to book POLO highline diesel and was waiting to just see how ecosport will be launched...I changed my mind from Polo to Ecosport after test drive by enlarging my budget by 2 lacs...

Areas of improvement 

Rear shoulder space ( as no improvement is possible, add rear center armrest and make it comfortable for 4 adults ), also co-driver armrest can be added in future, nail down waiting period with appropriate ramp up plan
