It was way back in July 2014 where the average monthly sales of this car was 10000 and ford has tasted sucess with this car. Even for a test drive also we had to wait for a week. But the sales guy from TI Ford guwahati was really kind enough to us to give a test drive for 4-5 times before purchasing. And moreover the wait time during that time was 6 months but we booked on June and the sales guy promised to deliver the car within 1st week of July. “Kudos to TI Ford” the delivery was very smooth and so the car is. The body of the ecosport feels so heavy and strong that it takes a jiff on body to open/close the door. The ride and handling is as smooth as silk and the mid range of the 3rd -4th gear of the car is so puncy that it keeps pulling all the way to 4k-5k rpm and you can feel the tubro thats kicking the engine. During that time it was considered as the sexiest SUV in India every one wants to have it parked on their garage. And the USP of the look was the boot lid of the car. Too good..... Now after 4 years and 5 months and running of 60k+ kms it the driving feels the same as the car is being driven form the showroom. The maintenance till now i have spend is around ?25000. Now some of the cons of the car is the plastic quality materials inside the cabin feels very cheap and also the plastic quality of the boot is also very quality. And I think at 2013 also when it was launched the titanium version should have equipped with a rear view camera. And the most important cons of the car is the headlight lacks to provide illumination at night in highway driving. Ford 2013-2015 models were equipped with very low beam headlights. But overall I feel really happy when i drive my ecosport.

Exterior Just Superb. No need to compare with Duster.. Its a best option in SUV. U can enjoy the ride. Everyone just keep looking at your car when u move in city. May be it is launched new so but many cars now a days comes in market every month but U can feel the exterior image what ppl see while driving. :)

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is good. When you 1st time enter inside u feel it as less. But just seat & have a round of 10 km then u can realise it is not small.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is smooth, Economical, Gear shift is soft.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling is nice. Good Picup. Best for Highway & City users.

Final Words Best Car @ best Price, I used Fiat Linea before buying this car so its more refine car & I love the most is ground clearance. The View from driver seat is clear when driving in long Q's. Can able to move in gaps when ever possible.

Areas of improvement No. May be sales serives they can imporvise.

 this ford has not increasd price only, but have reduced many features that was shown at the time of booking, one major reduction is "NO PUSH BUTTON START STOP BUTTON" in the vehicles now deliverd at increased price. i have also refused delivery, ford has bookd 50000 vehicles and Rs 40000/- increasd price per vehicle means they have looted indians of 200 crores, plz complain at the www.core.nic.in (consumer affairs website) Dr h.m.garg, Bathinda, Punjab

 MOST IMPORTANT IS AVOID CHEATING THE CUSTOMERS AND COMPANY SHOULD THINK IN LONG TERMS, THEY SHOULD HAVE ABSORBED INCREASD PRICE OF ALREADY BOOKD VEHCICLES AND SHOULD NOT HAVE DECRESD FEATURES

Looks very good and ground clearence is ok.

Ride Quality & Handling Suspension is very hard, so bumpiness is obvious.

Final Words Good car but one has to be extremely carefull about visibility. the two huge pillar in the A pillar obstruct views while taking turns. I just wonder how a reputed company like ford can afford to make such big design defect. I bought one ecosport in october 2013 and sold it in april 2014, only because of the visibility problem.highway performace is good, even to drive within city is also ok.i would suggest prospective buyer to wait for some more time as HONDA is bringing out a new compact SUV sometime in 2015.

Harpreet Ford supplied the car without PDI. Vehicle was having very irritating sound since day one. I have compliained to dealer and Ford india both. But even after 5 months, it is not resolved. still having irritating sound from the vehicle.

Also, their dealership "Harpreet Ford" should be named as Harpreet Fraud, they are doing fradulanet transaction with the customers.  I purchase the car 06 August 2014 and  they issued the sales invoice dated 31.07.14.  Also as per Ford india records, name of the owner is different. It is 5 months now and it is still not rectified. Even after writing multiple emails, you will not get any revert from them.

On First service they were delivering car without any check and proper wash. When i checked that there is lot of dust on car tyres and  underbody parts and car is not even cleaned from inside. They said, I have to come again for car wash.

Really Harpreet Ford is a Fraud delarship of Ford and should be named as Harpreet Fraud.

Customer services need to be improved a lot. they takes months to responds. i don't konw i much time they will take to resolve customer concern because i have been following for past 5 month and dont know much more time they will take.

The best thing I like about the car is the handling and how light the steering feels in low speed and how well it weighs up at high speeds. The ride quality due to the stiff suspension is not so great but it results to make the car a better handler. I found the engine to be punchy at midrange and high rpms but felt laggy in lower rpm range because it uses a turbocharger which requires time to spool up.

The EcoSport drives much better at slower speeds. The Ford felt almost punchy slipping through busy streets, but its vague steering and noisy ride diminished the experience. While its ride can't isolate the cabin from rough surfaces, the softly sprung suspension on our Titanium test vehicle effectively cushioned occupants from the harshness. Too bad the spongy shocks and top-heavy demeanor led to unruly body motions. These effects were amplified at higher speeds. The brake pedal on our front-drive Titanium model never felt firm, but it delivered consistent response. *HIGHS Affordable, compact and maneuverable, easy-to-use infotainment. LOWS Disappointing fuel efficiency, sleep-inducing acceleration, lacks interior space.

Nice Car because I have been using it for first time and I want this product and I want to buy latest model of this Car it is very much good for you want to buy latest model and I have bought it for in place of my XUV 500.

Exterior Very good,thick A pillar and the bulge in the bonnet slightly obstructs the view,solid construction.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Wow, speachless, Ford has done a marvellous job, but the black leather makes to feel the cabin little cramped,even though it is not like that.plastic quality is ok, but eneven gap in the panel. Exhaustive list of items in the panel,dashboard etc.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Slight turbo lag for ths engine, but experienced turbo kicks in comparatively faster than some other cars, good torque range,good for city drive,a real good engine for driving enthusiast. Could not check the mileage yet.

Ride Quality & Handling Good, suspension is designed by takng care of indian roads,company say turning radius 5.3 meter, but on driving doesnot feel so,steering is smoothand light,but didnt feel too lght like in Hyundais.

Final Words A great car for ths money surely VFM.

Areas of improvement Headlight,rear parcel tray,leather seat color to chane to beigeor some light color, uneven panel gaps and gaps between metal joints.
