Exterior Ok Design is an individual choice. but this is what mattered to me. A simple but interestign design.. should look like a Sedan. give a feel of sedan. I think the headlight and the overall front look is just great. I love it everytime I see it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors are not as modern like its rivals.. but they do their job very well. I can control volume of music system with my hands on gear knob. lot of space to keep small small things like ipod, mobile, etc etc. Some people might not like the rear space.. but normal sized indians its more than enough.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel Economy, I have read at so many places today, that Ford is trying to mislead its customers. Here you listen from a Customer himself. If you drive at a speed of 50-60 kms on a straight road. without breaking. without any steering. I can assure you will get 30+ mileage. I mean it. Dont expect it to give 32 in city. thats under standard testing conditions. but yes I am not surprised by 32 figure because my fiesta classic is surely capable of giving 30 plus mileage. I get 16-17 in city regularly. that too in traffic it takes 45 mins for me to reach office for a distance of 8 kms. so you can guess the traffic, in these conditions I get 15-16 easily.. always with AC.
Performance is good, althought it is 68 BHP, it does not looks like one.. its pretty good in pick up and power. No complaints here.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride one you will come to know what Classic is all about, its the best drivers car in this segment. for 8 lakhs. I dont think you should ask for more. so easy to park, so good on U turns. Will give a many hatchbacks in India a run for its money... will beat them hands down.
Final Words I am pretty satisfied with this car, I just finished 7500 kms in 6 months, and I have loved every minute of my car. Its fabulous.
Not sure about Phasing out, but I think if u are considering this car, check that out... even if it phases out, I am sure parts will be available easily because there are so many of them on the road, moreover, this is 1.4 TDCI engine, which is here to stay. However, I just plan to keep this car for 3 yrs. and then sell it off.
So people say why I bought Fiesta, below are the reasons
- For 8 lakhs on road, I dont think I get all this in a package, options that i had were - ETIOS, Manza, Swift Dzire, below is my explanation for each.
ETIOS - Looks small for a sedan, Interiors not at par with Classic
Manza - I dont like its design, again this is personal choice.
Swift Dzire - No Comments :) Better I should keep quiet.
Niggles and glitches - None, there was some minor sound in the rear shock absorber... but that was corrected in 2nd free service, It seems like some sand particles have collected in the bush of Shock absorber. Mechanic said that its normal not a problem, I too agreed as he showed me the sand, he lubricated that area it was good to go... no probs after that.
Service and showroom experience - way way ahead of marutis and hyundai's and tata's....
Areas of improvement Its perfect for the price, however, little more space in the rear would be great. Sunroof would be good.

Exteriors Well the exteriors are a bit old fashioned and the car may not be as eye-catching or flashy as some others in its segment, but to me personally it does not make much of a difference as the car still looks great to me and also very decent, again this depends on ones own priorities and choice in selecting a car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The space is ample, 5 normal sized people can be easily accomodated without any complaint , the headroom and legroom is also appreciable overall the car is comfortable both in front and the rear, you also get a large 430L boot space
Talking about the features, as far as the Titanium variant is considered it is loaded with them, I would recommend you visit the official Ford website to know about them also you will get all the latest updates about the addons made, if you are considering this car and my review seriously.
To name a few: Airbags, ABS,EBD,Foglamps,Alloy Wheels,Immobiliser,New integrated music system and a lot more.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox In this segment the car is absolutely brilliant, the car sports a 1.6L engine which is larger in capacity than that of Honda city's traditional 1.5L, which is the most favourite car of this segment.
Classic's 1.6L duratec develops 101 horsepower@6500 rpm which is nice and a torque of 146 Nm@3400 rpm which makes it a bit quicker than almost all the cars in its segment ,the gearbox is smooth no complaints here. As long as fuel economy is concerned my presonal results are:
Highway : ~ 17 kmpl
City : ~ 14 kmpl
(With a/c turned on in both the conditions).
This factor again depends on user's driving style and driving conditions.
Ride Quality & Handling Both the ride quality and handling are smooth, well done Ford!!
Final Words To sum up, the car is an absolute gem and the price it is being offered at makes it an unbeatable and a practical package in its segment, also,I would surely recommend it to my friends. Lastly if you are seriously considering a vehicle a test drive is always a better option to verify that the vehicle satisfies all your attributes and expectations as it gives you a hands on experience which can never be obtained by just reading reviews.

Hi,
I bought a new Ford CLASSIC 1.4 TDCI Titanium in April 2015. Costed me about 9.12 lakhs on street with a 100000km warranty for 2 years. Many of my close peopl cautioned me that I am probably choosing a model that will be out of sight soon. Well, I knew it but has my own reasons to go for this car. Well I dont wish to get into commercialised discussion but let me put some key experiences forthright.
Bought it at METRO FORD, Bangalore. No specific preference just that they responded to my queries when I started my search for a car.
1. I have run 4500kms in a month and the car has returned a respectable fuel economy of 23-26 kmpl on highways.
2. Air con is really nice though not chilling like my Wagon R or Nano that we use for city drives.
3. The car is not very powerful but what I liked against it is the linear fashion in which the TDCI delivers the power. I owned a LINEA before this and that was a fantastic car but the drive on FORD CLASSIC is really smooth.
4. The music systems and bluetooth is amazingly good and I can assure you that you will fall in love with it.
5. The suspensions are really nice, smooth and the NVH is really good and keeps away noises on the road. However there is a gruntle from the engine that you can make out in the cabin. No complaints as Diesel is a heavy fuel and you cant really help it.
6. Most importantly, though the car looks light from the outside the CLASSIC is a really heavy car and that too with a low slung body of just 170mm road clearance - this car sticks to the road when you accelerate on highways.
7. where the FORD CLASSIC really scores is the view that you have from the drivers seat. Amazing!! that one way to put it - no blind spots and great view for a driver. havent seen that on too many sedans - love my Wagon R for that.
8. The soft spot I can tell you is the steering system - while I can assure you that the car is most stable and you can turn it spot on with the wheel - the system is driven by a hydraulic power pump (old technology) making it a tad bit heavy in the city drive. I honestly dont mind as I whip my NANO on bangalore streets and that the boy who is really fast in the small lanes and tight traffic. The FORD CLASSIC is my horse for long journeys.
9. The BOOT is a bit smaller than the ETIOS (which I did compare before buying) - but the interior quality make up for all those shortcomings. The CLASSIC has very upscale interiors with fabric seating, beezeled finishes and reading lamps in the front and side. you also get alloy wheels and full featured bluetooth system ont he Titanium. All power windows and push open rear boot opener which is a nice feature.
10. Top this up with ABS and airbags for safety when you really do long drives, I am fine with it. The drive lights are nice and the fog lamps go around doing their jobs with ease. The side blinkers on the rear view mirrors are a nice feel.
Most importantly, keep in mind that you are not going for a sub four meter sedan (AMAZE, ZEST, DZIRE) where you compromise on ride comfort, space and fit n finish. The FORD CLASSIC still is a BIG CAR at 4330mm for a small BUDGET, that gives you feel of sitting into lap of LUXURY when you step into the cabin that neatly laid out with space for bottles, magazines, goggles, and other essentials.
Serive aspects so far havent had issues and many users that I spoke first hand at the service centres before picking up the car did tell me that the service cost is about 4k - 5k if the maintenance is done properly. This is a fair ask when you travel so much.
I think for the money that I have spent the ROI is satisfactory. I am loving the drive right now and will keep you guys posted as the ODO move upwards of 10K sooner than later. I am running a start up and for me stretching every rupee is important and the CLASSIC is definitely worth every dime I put on the table.

Final Words Dont ever purchase Ford cars if you look for resale value. Even FORD showroom is not providing good resale value. I have purchased a car in 2012 they are quoting very less price if have taken it for exchange.
Areas of improvement Features inside the car. No proper Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction. AC is having issues some times. Maintainence is high for a Upper MIddle Class Person. False promises by Ford Sales person's is very annoying. Plus you will not get a alloy wheels in middle version, though they don’t really stand out. Fog lamps sh, as is theould alose be payed.
As per Indian market please prefer swift / swift dzire where you will get good resale value.

Exterior Excellent looks. Classic sedan type.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Spacious and comfortable for 5 passengers. Powerful A/c.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great fuel economy. Transmission is very smooth. Pick up at 2nd gear could have been made more stronger though. Though it says a 68hp engine on the books it really is more powerful.
Ride Quality & Handling Ultimate. This is where it stands out from the rest. I have driven it for around 4000kms. The ride quality is very good and handling is excellent. Smooth Suspension makes city drives less taxing. Top speed of 140km/h, yet was sailing smoothly.
Final Words Go for it!! if you are lookin for a sedan at a reasonable price.
Areas of improvement Engine performance could have been made better when you compare sedans like SX4 and sunny. U S B should have been included in the music system. Suspension is extra smooth which makes ground clearance a bit of a concern.

Let me start with an area unknown or the one of the few warnings I was given by my friends while buying the car. Ford service: Well I just had the two free services and the experience was very good in terms of time commitment and the bills were very low as far as I remeber.
Exterior Car looks great.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats are very comfortable. My friends un aware of this car liked the seat comfort when they were in. AC is very good, powerful I would say. Even with AC car feels adequately powered, thanks to the powerfull engine. Music system on mid variant lacks USB port and steering controls, but sounds amazing, AUX is always there. Not many features or controls on the steering wheel and the panel. Rear seat is very comfy for two and moderately comfortable for three.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Just completed 3,500kms on this car. Initially the acceleration was low compared to what I expected (may be the parts take time to free-up), but now the car just zooms. I really dont calculated the fuel economy in the city (Bangalore) due to traffic, bad roads etc.. On the highway, with AC I get 14-15kms/l - very long drive and in power mode 100-110km/hr, without worrying about the driving style i.e., accelerate fast go and keep over 80 when you can. Gear knob gets little rough after few hundred kms and needs to be lubricated (the only reason for my 4* star rating). Otherwise car lifts adequately at low speeds without much gear shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling Suspension is bit stiff, but that improves handling and loweres body roll I guess. Handling is excellent. I just love the steering feedback, you feel so engaged in driving.
Final Words I found very limited reviews but went ahead with Ford and The Classic because of the excellent specs for its price. And, I'm happy with the decision so far.
Areas of improvement The only thing I dont like about the car is the noise, not the engine noise, but the thuds you get on sudden bumps ((the only reason for my 4* star rating for interiors).

Exterior It is a formal and nice looking car for the present generations who loves travelling
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Sound system is good , modern gadget are nice , enough space for three at rear ,and driving comfort is better then most of the car of different automobile companies.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Nice to drive and handling of the car in bumpy roads, fuel economy is good and the gearshifting is very smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Riding in bumpy indian roads is very troublesome, But while driving in fieasta classic one will never feel the potholes, thanx to its suspension and shock absorbers. and the handling in driving the car is great.
Final Words The car is worth keeping .if possible i will request all new buyers of car to take atleast one test drive of fieasta classic before taking any decision for buying new car .

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is awesome and same is handling. ONly negative is its heavy clutch and steering which might pain you left legs and right shoulders in long run.
Final Words 4/5 always. I always love the car and 55K clocked in 3.5 years that too 90 percent ran on highways. Now I feel I must get an automatic car cz of the effort I put in for the long drives. But I still love this car to my heart.
