I am writing this review after three years or 46500 km driving experience. I had faced the following issues with punto evo.
Within 2 weeks from the date of purchase there was leakage of steering oil. And they charged me for changing the clips tightening the tube.
In 2015 my car met with a small accident and they have changed the front bumper and radiator even though it was in good condition. And after changing the radiator they failed to check the coolant oil level. When reported again they charged me for the same.
All four tyres of my car went out of shape in 26000 kms, when contacted JK tyres they inspected and said it happened due to negligence of wheel alignment and balancing. But whenever i give my vehicle for service in fiat showroom they do charge 900 or 1000 for alignment (i.e at 5000 km and 15000 km). When approached fiat showroom, they said that the life of a tyre is only 25000 km.
In the year 2017, the front power window glass came out of window frame while i was driving. Due to which i met with an accident and there a dent was formed due to impact. When reporting the same, they fixed the window at free of cost and when asked about the dent, they said that they are not responsible for the accident and i should have driven my vehicle carefully by holding the glass in one hand.
In 2018, the dummy fog lamp cover found missing while i was driving and i have fixed the same by paying 1500.
In january 2018, the display in my dashboard alarmed EBD system failure. When reported this issue to the showroom, the service adviser checked my battery life and said that the battery is weak, that is why it is displaying EDB or ABS system failure. And he charged me Rs 300 and i refused to pay the same. I said why should my car say EDB or ABS failure when the battery is week. I took my vehicle to showroom since the issue was big and my car was under warranty.
And now, the coolant oil drained out completely. When inspected this issue with the help of local mechanic, they found that there was a leakage in tube connecting to the engine (In the back side). I have given my vehicle to authorized fiat service station for past three years and faced all these issues. Now i am paying huge-sum due to there negligence and defective fitting.
This time there is no warning alarm. No indication of temperature etc etc.
For the past three years i have spent 1,50000 plus for running this vehicle successfully on road.
