Fantastic Fiat Punto - 2.5 years and 52000 km later

Exterior Its a personal choice. It appeals to me and brings a smile everytime I walk up to my car at the end of a tiring day... even after 2.5 years of owning this.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Decent interiors. Some of the new cars have better interior - esp colors,etc. Spacious front seats. Gives a BIG car feel. Rear seats are slightly cramped (if you have a huge physique).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Definitely the most trusted engine in INdia. It is being used in Maruti's Swift, Ritz, Dzire and Tata Indica Vista and Manza. Fiat scores full marks here. Gear Box is good. Slightly better than Swift

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is good esp if you like driving heavy cars. It may not be the fastest off the block, It has been tuned with a decent economy: performance ratio

Final Words Even after driving 52000 km in 2.5 years, I feel this is the best car in this price bracket (5-6 lacs). Me and my wife go for long weekend drives and Punto has been just amazing. Already been to Coorg, Ooty, Chennai, Kanyakumari, Coimbatore, Hyd, Goa(multiple times) from Bangalore in this beauty. Its fun and just right for a family car.

Areas of improvement Ground clearance and turning radius needs improvement. Although I have heard that 2012 version has these improvements.
