Grande punto 1.2l petrol

 

Exterior sturdy body as Fiat cars are known for...wiper are very powerful,headlights most powerful  that i ha ve witnessed in market.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is plush  & royal,very spacious (at the back 4 hefty people r comfortable).AC is very powerful.stereo system with 4 speaker superb.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.2l petrol engine superb!! Fuel economy is worrisome(after first service reduce to 9.2 from 14) Gearbox and hand brake with sensors etc is good.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is awesome.it gets firm grip of road at top speed or any speed.it makes very less noise. it has great pick up!  handling is also good. had the steering hard problem..but after wheel alignment and balancing got rectified!!

 

Final Words Mileage is worry .as petrol is Rs64/litre. it  is only 9.2km/l after second service also..worrisome!! looks is outstanding!! interior & exterior very good!!

 

Areas of improvement

1) work on mileage.

2) after opening the dickey, the rear trims above the deckspace wear out. the clips inside are very fragile. common problem in grande punto!!

3) Fiat needs to work on customer relation and satisfaction. as my fiat car on delivery developed dozen of glitches. was frustrated to get such a defective car. but after lot of hardwork, every defect was sorted out. i sought for a replacement. but all fell on deaf ears--).

4) Fiat should go out in market agressively alone. as they are lagging in promotion and sales especially the punto car.

5) after repeated reporting and inspection,the brakes hardening remains unrectified.fiat is not bothered. in slow crowded places like vegetable market, after repeated brake application. it becomes extremely hard. which is big worry!!
