Exterior CRUZE has handsome exterior work, possibly the best in comparision to Altis, Laura or Civic. It is attractive with a new look demonstrating a wide stance, arched roof and a sharply raked windshield adding absolute beauty to its look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior design is quite different, dramatic and feature rich. On first look it gives a very impressive feeling and a high end car look. The front seats have lot of space, is comfortable with good thigh support. Back space is slightly less especially the head room. What I liked most is the dash board design... Outstanding, and out of the world!
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox In comparision to any other car in this segment (Altis diesel, Laura, Civic); I strongly feel non of these even comes even close on the engine power. Laura is definitely more quiter from inside but lacks the power. Altis doesnot even comes close (I some times fail to understand how such a renowed brand Toyota finalised on such a lousy diesel engine for a car like Altis!). Fuel economy is close to 14 km/lt.
Ride Quality & Handling The car is heavy and well built with a 5 star ENCAP rating, has a nice poweful engine and handles very well. it is a pleasure and a drivers dream come true on highways. The transmission is also very smooth but not a perfect city car for slow stop & go traffic because of the turbo lag.
Final Words Cruze is definitely the best pick among the D segment diesel cars India. It has the looks- both exterior & interior, power, safty all packed-in at a very good price.
Areas of improvement Chevy in India needs to focus on after sales service and quality of its showrooms and workshops.

I bought the car 1 year ago and the next day when i brought the car from the showroom white smoke started coming from silencer took it to workshop they replased the engine and after few months the injector started giving trouble and there is no responce from workshop.
I would suggest u all never ever go for cruze u will cry alway. like I am.
And the company will make u cry when u call them they will pick ur call and after knowing the problem they will not pick ur call. I have faced these problem and so I am suggesting u all not to go for cruze. I am wating to sell my cruze soon as posible. Very bad experince with the car I had and if u all want to be safe dont go for cruze waste of money.

dont expect the excitement of buying a new car with Chevy. when i drove out with the new car, i had a sense that the saga and the hardship of buying a car is finally over. I bought from KSM auto and realised the car was not even cleaned properly. they later on sent someone to take it for a complete wash.
the other dealers also dont look professional at all. i had to ask AVK auto (another dealer) to refund the advance amount .
My other friends who were also buying similar range cars were so disgusted with this experience, they chose better and opted for a Japanese and a European model with great dealer support.
Areas of improvement
GM needs to overhaul their dealers in Mumbai. Alternately, separate dealers across car segments.

Looks like a beast. Can easily differenciate between all chevrolet cars and not like VW where all cars seem to be Polo's from front.

Funky when compared to laura, laura has classic interiors. Its just a matter of taste if you like Funky or Classic.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Amazing engine performance, fuel economy is 10-11 in city and 13-15 on highways because of 6-speed auto. At touchdown in automatic 0-100 is reached at 8.65secs as compared to 9.some odd secs in manual.
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality good at high speeds, steering wobbles after 120kmph but that can be taken care by tilting your sun roof, the air doesnt hit the little inverted rear spoiler at the back and car becomes stable after 120, steering stops wobbling.
Final Words
Very good car if you drive it yourself, true driving enthusiast's car. Laura or New Jetta are not so involving to drive and are good if you are chauffer driven.
Areas of improvement
I bought diamond white color and there seems to be some problem with that specific paint, i see black marks of some kind at many places, this paint seems to absorb black color marks. Have done 26000kms on it.

Exterior Good manly and stuborn look from outside, nicely designed head and tail lamps, excellent finish
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Luxurious leather upholstry, cockpit design of the front is very appealing, a complete new dimension of a sports car, front and rear A/c is very effective.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very smooth engine, derives tremendous power of 150 bhp, 0-100 in 6.5 seconds, fuel economy in city 11.5 Kmpl and on highway 18-19 Kmpl, gear shift is really easy, cruise control is device is very reponsive.
Ride Quality & Handling I bought this car immediately after its launch in Dec.'2009. I test drove almost all the cars in the segement including Honda Accord and Skoda Superb but the pleasure of driving this car was immense. It is almost now 2.5 years and the car is absolutely trouble free.
Final Words Very responsive engine, maintenance free, easy to manouver, value for money, GM's best car ever produced
Areas of improvement Could have added blutooth device on the steering wheel.

Exterior The Car has aggressive looks. Sure the Civic is the most beautiful car in this segment but this car has a class of it's own. The rear can look a little strange for some people but all in all the car has very bold looks which give it disntinctive road presence
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great Music system [6 CD changer].Auto Climate Control,Instanteaneous and average fuel consumption,DTE ,Very Powerful Aircon,Cruise Control, Rear legroom is not generous but is sufficient. The seats are perfect. Push-Button start truly is a revolution. You don't need to fumble around for a key.Just tuck it away in your bag or denims and that's sufficient for you to start the car,stop it , lock it ,unlock it.No need to press buttons to lock /unlock your vehicle and to turn the key to ignition position to start it.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The best thing about this car is that it's powerful as well as fuel-efficient. Achieving 18kpl on highways is routine plus it's diesel, you hardly spend money for fuel.The only downside is the clutch springs back at you when you start the car and engage 1st gear.Once you've moved on from the first gear to the higher gears springback isn't a problem at all. After some practice,the springback in 1st gear isn't a problem.
Ride Quality & Handling Maybe,not the best handling in its class but is a solidly built car and drives around well. Stable at high speeds and reaches these speeeds effortlessly without grunting at all.
Final Words Great Car ,truly is the perfect car for Cruising.I've done 4000+ and no worries whatsoever.
Areas of improvement Rear Legroom and the springback clutch nothing else. Lack of USB port is not really an issue.
