Exterior It looks very attractive it first sight then u love it.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very attractive interiers, quality of plastic is good, smart dashboard tilt steering, electronic power steering extra ordinerily light and smooth rear seats also comfotable.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have purchased Beat LT Diesel 16th of Nov and my first drive to Recongpeo a hill station of Himachal infact I visited 70 KM away from this station a remote village and road condition are very tough and not in good condition in that hill area, and you dont believe Beat Diesel gives a amazing mileage of 21 kmpl in, I covered total 1000 KM through this trip and this mileage is amazing, exellent engine by General Motors, smooth gear shifting.
Ride Quality & Handling Very smooth riding handling is amazing.
Final Words A grate car.
Areas of improvement Boot space little bit small but this harly matters.

Exterior Good exterior, nothing to complain. Out of the ordinary and stylish especially when we see that this is the closest replica of the cars in transformers movie.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very good ergonomics and comfort in the front seats. The rear seats and leg room is not that great. The boot space also is very minimal but cannot really compain as i did have other cars which i never bothered to check out so much in detail.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is peppy against what it looks on paper. very good fuel economy, under sane driving i do sometimes get the fuel economy that the company claims.
Ride Quality & Handling Smooth and stable at high speeds. little body roll due to tall boy design but the car is wider than many other cars to compensate that.
Final Words I really love the car but i HATE chevrolet india and their service network. I shall never buy a chevrolet just for this reason unless they intent to change their business strategy. Not sure if they have the same strategy in their home land US.
1. You cannot find simple spare parts for this car.
2. The chevrolet authorized sales and service center denies to sell you spare parts unless you "admit" your car there. A small nut for the battery terminal which would normally cost Rs. 5-10 couldn't be provided to me due to this. My car is at home unable to crank as battery terminal is not tight due to this nut missing. Chevrolet said it is out of stock, even if there was stock they will not sell it as they do not do counter sales of spares, and the best part is that the cost of that small 5 rupee nut at chevrolet is Rs. 900 + .. yes i'm not kidding... i should have recorded that conversation with the spares guy at kropex chevrolet, hosur road, bangalore. Once i bought the oil filter for my car by creating a job card and paying the labor cost as well due this idiotic rule for their own part and service monopoly. That wierd nut could not be found in any other hard ware or auto store due to it's non standard design.
3. The service center crew are just a bunch of chaps who are not dedicated and frustrated with the amount of work they get. highly understaffed. The mechanic or the supervisor does not know what grade engine oil goes in to my car. I eventually saw the guys at trident chevrolet, kalyan nagar, bangalore topping up petrol engine oil in my diesel car, which i later got changed along with oil filter. No quantity checked. just fill as they like. On another occasion, the car was 2 days after service and the engine oil was near empty with the engine oil light blinking... now just imagine how much work is done when you leave the car with them for the entire day.
4. You have to book your service almost 3 weeks in advance to service your vehicle and they don't give you spares, not even consumables like air/oil/fuel filters so that you can service it yourself or elsewhere.
5. Inspite of booking your slot, it still takes a day for them to just wash the car and give it to you as i felt that they have done nothing to the car apart from washing. all complaints reported still existed after service and it was very frustrating to get back to them and waste another day.
6. They do not value your time. once i spent 2 days with them trying to figure out a noise which was happening while steering to left. They pulled apart a lot of things like the entire suspension assembly, battery etc; I gave up and fixed it myself later when i found that it was just a plastic piece touching a moving part.
7. The only dedication from the service center is to put their authorized service center sticker and the next service date. From my experience no work done.
8. There is a so called quick service scheme but whenever i ask for it, they say there is nothing close to that expect for the banners put up all around them!
Areas of improvement They can try not to forget the customer after sale.

The engine gives very good low speed torque in city driving and its very comfortable. Doesnt give much of sound but in the top gear it takes time to accelerate. Its alright once you get used to it. Ride quality in the top gear is smooth and doesnt get jittery at all. The steering and handling of the car too makes the driver well in control of the machine and its not a rev machine, as people would want it to be. . The design is quite peppy but the rear could have been more impressive as the front gives it a look of a sedan. The dickie could have been biggger, as well as the leg room at the back. My opinion is that it would be unfair if it is compared to Punto and swift as the specifications differ but at this price it is absolutely superb!! Overall a good revolutionary car for a small family which wants comfort as well as mileage.
Fuel efficiency is impressive- i get 25kms to a litre>>>Can any other car at this price BEAT that?Dickie space is less...could have had more adjustments on the steering whell instead of on the dashbइक्सटीरियर/स्टाइल्स

Exterior: the look of the car is very catchy n any youngster who has driven a swift would opt for this car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): interiors are comparable to ritz n i10 but feels a bit cogusted for 3 medium adults at d rear. there are no innovative features compared to other cars except for d sppedo console which is been inspired by superbikes. only one lamp is provided in the front which is very dull , it cant throw light till d rear. the seats are quiote comfortable to travel long journeys.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox:performance is really good untill the ac is switched on, once the ac is on engine becomes very sluggish till it crosses 2500 rpm,after that it performs pretty well. m assured that it'll deliver 14kmpl in city n 18 kmpl in highways till d first service is done, gotta wait untill den but acc to arai certificate 18.6 kmpl on an avg is indeed a very good milage for such a car. regarding gear box d first 4 gears are good to slot in but wen i try to put d 5th gear it pulls itself into d slot n on the other hand wen puttin revrse gear it doesn engage properly, i'll have to put it twice . dunno whether its a problem or not!
Ride Quality & Handling: ride quality is jus awesome that the very sound of the engine when you revv it pushes you to beat everyone on the street, handling is also good compared to any other car in its leaghue though i dont mention it is outstanding.
Final Words: i wud suggest any youngster to go for dis car as its very compact in design n is a spirited performer. a perfect urban youth car!

could provide a remote lock n some storage spaces in d rear doors. the plastic used inside doesn seem very elegant even if it is of good quality.

1200 CC noise less engine enough for city and highways as well. I am getting fuel economy average of about 17/18 KM /Litre. Soft gear shift helps in driving with ease. modern speedo meter and techo meter is icing on cake.

Ride quality is excellent/Handling is also good. Very good ground clearance. I love that back door handle.
Final Words
In short indian consumer needs to come out of fixated thinking of brand loyalty to Maruti etc. Enjoy the new designed vehicle at very very competitive price. The beat price is quite cheap compared to Ritz/I-10 or say Swift. Why go for old designs when you can get the new at lesser price ? MUch better than 990 CC A-Star/Estoillo/Maruti-R.

Exterior I like it's different looks and the muscular front style. Also i think the alloys on offer look pretty neat.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I love the car interiors, especially the dashboard which is quite different from other cars.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth gear changes, handles quite well in city traffic, above average fuel economy. Power delivery on the Beat diesel is linear, but the engine does lack that extra punch to make those quick overtaking manoeuvres, especially on highways. The engine however does have a good mid-range and feels quite driveable in bumper-to-bumper city traffic. Also, unlike the petrol Beat, the diesel version of the car doesn’t stall when you try to accelerate at lower revs from standstill.
Ride Quality & Handling Personally i like the way the car handles at sharp curves. Although i still think the car could have done well with 1.2L engine.
Final Words Buy this car for mileage, chevrolet promise and looks.
Areas of improvement Engine should have been 1.2 L. Current engine although offers economy. but lacks that punch.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The AC is very powerfull The driver was driving at 110 kmph, but I didnt hear even a bit of noise of anything, isnt that awesome? There is enough legroom for both front seaters and rear seaters. Seats are very comfortable. It has enough space in the dikky for our luggage. (3-4 big suitcases.) Dashboard design is also very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Sorry guys, I dont know much about these engine and gear specs. But my dad said that the gearbox is very comfortable as compared to our old Maruti 800.

Final Words We've read/seen near about all the reviews of Chevy BEAT posted on net, but we were still not sure about the spaciousness of BEAT. There are many reviews on net which will tell you that 3 persons can not be fitted at the rear sit, but let me tell you, its completely wrong. 3 persons can very easily enjoy the ride of BEAT sitting at the back seat.
What I've found after reading, watching and experiencing is that BEAT is the best Hatchback in India today. And please forgive me for my english and writing style because this is my first review for any product.
Areas of improvement Chevrolet should provide a normal USB connector for CD/MP3 player instead of mini USB. There is no bluetooth connectivity for MP3 player. :( Height adjustable driving seat.

Well I was looking for a Car with a Max budget of 4.5L OTR in Hyderabad, Looked at Spark,WagonR,i10 (ERA) ,Beat and Ford Figo. The Maruti cars had very low quality interiors and i10 was very expensive for the features it gave. The VFM cars left were from GM and Ford stable. Pickeup the Beat for its much better FE.
Exterior The Car looks very good and has a sport look.
Interrior Very Spacious and practicle car this. The Interior of the Car is very very good.5 people can sit comfortably in the Car.The Legroom in front and rear are very good. The Plastic quality and finish is of very good quality.This has been one of the very important reasons for me buying the car. The Low seating position coupled with no height adjustment is a little dampener though.This doesnt cause any visiblity problem (to anyone who is above 5'2").However due to low seating position,your knee level becomes higher than your hip,causing pain while traveling long distance.
The AC is pretty good if not great. The rear seat to me and my family doesnt at all feels claustrophobic.
Ride The Best thing about this car is the steering.Such a wonderfull responsive engine it is.Beautiful is the word.It helps so much in city B2B traffic and easy to maneuver.
Engine is little bit noisy,but i like it (than the silent ones).It gives that sport car feel.
The Mileage i am getting is min 15 Kmpl with normal petrol. The Car handles the potholes well without any noise. The Shock absorbers do a very good job.
Engine The Pickup is good.Sometimes u do feel the lag in 3rd gear,but once u are used to it,its not a big problem at ell.
Practicality Even though Boot space is not at par with peers,the 60:40 rear seat split more than makes for it.The Ample space and cup holders and well thought coin holders etc makes it very very practical.
Overall I would give 9/10 for the car.

Exterior Contemprory Styling with appealing looks. Paint Quality is perfect and contributes greatly to the eye catching Quality of this city Shuttle.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Front Seats have a Sedan Comfort with good leg space but yes the elbow space could have been slightly better. The funky looking speedometer and tachometer is unique to Beat and a great attraction for teen agers. Steering Wheel is light and responsive with a very attractive Cheverolet emblem in golden.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox SMARTECH 1Ltr diesel engine is amazing with low noise, vibration and harshness. Fuel economy with all its frugality does not give a miss on its peppy starts and running. Gear shifting is smooth and appropriate. With fourth and fifth gears being overdrive having ratios of 0.90 and 0.70 respectively cruising is a cake walk. Lesser trips to the gas station are guranteed with this revolutionary small diesel engine.
Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable with its new shoes which are 165/65/14. Pot holes and road undulations are least felt. Characteristic Diesel vibration is absent and you forget that ride is on Motor Oil and not Motor Spirit.
Final Words Highly recommended for City Driving with its sheer size, parking is not a pain anymore.
Areas of improvement Dual Colours would make the package more attractive.
