Exterior Awesum exteriors but feel that tail light is a bit wierd.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) INterior is great a pepy car and the blue theme is very good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is very good as the chevrolet is manufacturing the beat after jun 2011 with the engine with ecu remapped so the average as well as the pickup mainly is 2nd gear is improved. Fuel economy is around 15-16 kmpl as I have drived this car only in city(new delhi) with ac. Some times the gearbox seems to be not responding but its olright.

Areas of improvement It should come with a big tyre base it will improve the ride quality and chevrolet should give the stock speakers some quality as they are good for nothing so after buying a car the main thing is to upgrade the rear and the front speakers.

Great Looks. ground clearance is fine & big breakers of rajasthan & haryana are not touching the body.
My problem is Rajasthan Dealer. Triumph Motor ...They quote u the rate ...which other dealers cant even think off...
they will take 4000 extra in insurance. logistics 4900/- even maruti and vw charging 3000. centre locking is free but they will not deliver u key with remote lock ..they charge 1911 extra ...registratation charges 5 .5 % plus 4000/- for agent. 1000 for temprary registration number. If I compare rates of Triumph with other dealors even in rajasthan they are taking 10000 extra and services i experienced in Spark i am having. I never visit Triumph Motor show room after single visit. I drove 84000 km spark but never visit Triumph motors service station . wrost services . only need money and GM should C This ....Beat diesal Model is good but plz repair your dealers

I have purchased this car from Jaishree Motors Kangra and Iam still waiting for my corporate bonus. Now about the car:-
Exterior is really good and looks fresh and unique from other cars of the segment.
Space is ok not very big but manageable features are good like auto AC automatic climate control etc.
Engine performance is good but fule economy this is the major concern in all the chevy modles in India and with the beat also i am getting 13-14 in city and 15-16 on highways that to when i have driven the vehicle for nearly 10000 KMs so mielage is really poor.
Riding the car is really comfy yupp there is a issue of knee touching the V shaped music panel and seat is a little low for shorter persons i have no issue as i am a six feet tall chap engine lacks power when u overtake especcially in hilly areas as most of my driving in hilly areas as i am from Palampur ( Himachal).
I have completed one year with my car yah i have good year with the car except fule economy and rear left power window which was sorted out temporarilly By Mr. Rajesh of Jaishree motors Kangra thanks to him and now the damaged/faulty wiring also changed. But i am bit surprised as the chrges of the damaged wiring have been deducted from Mr. Rajesh who had to cut the wiring for temporary repair of the power window as Jaishree motors have no wiring at that time and it took more than one month for the wiring to come from the company and for onr month i can't be with my Beats faulty window which was not being opened or close.
Boot space has to increased and fule economy plus some latest features like one touch power windo opening and pinch shut etc.

I own a beat Lt petrol version purchased in august 2010, the vehicle has crossed 47000 km as on date ,From the first service which was done on 1000km at ashtavinayak motors / mira road I’m complaining of a knocking sound when moving the vehicle in 1st gear, they did some engine tuning and gave back , since then every time I’m complaining of the same complaint, but so far no use, in the meantime due to regular complaint the vehicle was parked at their work shop for almost ten days a replacement vehicle was also provided to me by the workshop manager mr sangram , and was returned back to me saying the problem is sorted out, then on two different occasions they offered a vehicle pick up and drop , still im suffering the same problem, they are unable to identify the problem. The call center females call for service feedback , and when I highlight the issue they say , I will spk to the manager and get back to u within 30 minutes, which they never do.
The problem with my vehicle is when I start the vehicle in the morning for the 1st 25 to 30 kilometers the vehicle runs smooth , and then onwards it start to knock when lifting the from 1st gear, also there is weird sound which comes when even if u are on 60 km speed on 4th of 5th gear , if u suddenly apply a bit more acceleration there is different sound which comes , this issue was also told to them , but they cud not find a solution.
I a writing this letter hoping to hear from you a favorable solution to my problem.

Exterior Great styling. One of the best good looking cars in its class, especially compared to the dull classic look of its main competitor-figo. made a great mistake in opting for LS segment to save a few bucks but it laks the critical good looking factor- the satin silver rail roof of LT
Beat is offered with Saint Gobin 75% transparent tinted glasses which are allowed legally, so no hazzle over the sun films.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Beautiful interiors..figo comes nowhere near with its dull oldfashioned interiors. interior space is adequate for a family of 2adults + 2 children. back seat accommodation for 2 adults is comfortable but for 3its very difficult. Rear leg room is surprisingly big which is better than ritz(which i own). not much of claustrophobic feel as given in some reviews. rear windows are small but no difficulty in seeing while reversing. rear window wiper would be a very useful option, which i miss in my LS model. the worst part of the car is the small front seats with very poor thigh support which makes long distance journeys horrible. chevy should seriously consider an urgent seat remodelling. The built-in stereo of LT model is of just average quality but it enhances the interior looks greatly with its blue LCD display matching with the rest of the blue displays.At night, it really looks like the interiors of a cockpit!!
Space wise, figo beats the beat a long way with its spacious legrooms, better seats and wider back seats. Boot space in beat is very less, may be 3 average sized traveller bags.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Suitable for city drive mainly with its powerful torque eventhough low BHP, making lesser gearshifts(comfortable driving at 30-40 in 4th gear) and great power while overtaking, turbo lag experiencing for 1-2 secs only. in highway, the 936cc engine shows its inadequacy, making speeds greater than 100 unconfortable, if you are a racer. But if you are a family man comfortable at idling in the 80-90 kmph range, this is the best car for you even for high ways. at this speed range, the power delivery is macho with overtaking effortless. the control is excellent, brakes are spot on and yet the car is super silent..
My fuel economy is 18.9 kmph for city and 23.4 for highway
I guess for those speedsters who travel a lot in highways, figo would be a better choice. Ritz is even better for the power hungry.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent. the steering is so light and accurate that my ritz and figo feels like musclemen compared to beat which feels like a petite lady. My wife for whom i took the vehicle now never rides the ritz. After taking the TD of figo and beat she did not have any doubt while opting for beat.
Final Words Considering the price which chevy is offering, beat is the best VFM diesel car available in market.
If you can modify the seat for better thigh support which you can get done from your car seat cover shop and you are happy with speeds below 100kmph on high way, you have got a very good VFM small family car
Areas of improvement 1. The seats- should have better thigh support and option for seat height adjustment to be given in all models since average sized males find ingress-egress difficult
2. Engine could have been larger to give more power, but no complaints considering the price.
3. rests for the foot on the accelerator and the outer(lateral) aspect of left lower limb would be a great boon.

Awsome Performance, fuel economy is good i get 17 per liter in city with Ac, high way yet to check, i have driven 600 kilometers till date in a week. plannign to take in highway next month will update the performance later on highway, also service masters advice to ride within 80 kilometer speed max till 6000 kilometers done.

Ride quality is great bcos of electronic power steering helps great in city traffic.

I feel fully satsified after getting Beat diesel. i am very happy that i have choosed diesel in the rocketing price of petrol. i have taken from Sundaram motors-chennai division- my sales consultant Mr. Rajasekar from chennai was very helpful, i really appreciate his commitments and support.

Gr8 pickup...i simply love to race it...driven just 2000kms...clocked 140kmph on highways...no vibrations felt,there was intial problem with changer to 5th gear,but after servicing all gears run smoothly...Although I am not happy with the fuel economy....I drive to a maximum of 3000rpm and i get a fuel economy of 11kmpl in city with AC on and 12.5kmpl w/out AC...highway milege goes upto 13.5 with AC..

Handling was not that great initially as i was new to the car,but gradually i am used to it and can judge it in traffic and crowded streets,pickup is no doubt great..
