I got myself a titanium plus in diesel. Have driven 15000 kms so far. The car is an absolute delight to drive. Superb acceleration and handling, feels very planted even at high speeds. However, when I try to accelerate from 2nd to 3rd gear, on releasing the clutch while shifting gears, there is black smoke coming out of the exhaust. Similarly when I accelerate on the 3rd gear, black smoke comes out of the exhaust. Having such a great car, I dont really feel good when this happens cos I have seen 8-10 year old diesel cars running without such problem. My Ford service centre have not been able to rectify the problem so far and that is the most disappointing.

I have purchased Ford freestyle four months ago. This is an awesome car. I have driven for 4000km. I am getting 15- 16 kmpl ( petrol) in Himachal Pradesh. my suggestion to other guy buy freestyle instead of Baleno and i20.

Exterior Does not matter to me However FM antena looks funky.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Great interior, front seat are best place to be in, great touchscreen infotainment system, apple car play and android auto work seamless with voice command, Automatic climate control works good, AC is powerfull can chill cabin in 2 minutes. better ground clearance, top notch safety feature in its segment with 6 airbag, HLA, Traction control, ARP. HLA is very usefull. Rear seat dissappoint in term of comfort. adequate boot space. I did not find automatic headlanp and auto rain sensing wiper feature very convenient.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great low end punch, powerful engine. you will have that confidence while driving or taking sharpe turn. Had driven 1000 km so far and i am getting 13 KMPL. Had not driven on highway however it can give 16 KMPL on highway as well as per my anticipation. Gear swiching is also smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Great ride with good handling too as Ford excel in this segment.

Final Words Overall great choice for enthusiastic drivers, looking for daily commute in city and frequent highway trips. Only drawback i found so far is lack of navigation in apple car play.

Areas of improvement Navigation with apple car play, rear seat confort and headrest, should offer DRL and other fancy features.

Exterior SUV-ish like robust design, versatile features and powerful engines are made to uplift the freestyle spirit. In terms of style, the front looks of the vehicle resemble that of Figo, though its new radiator grille makes it more distinctive, fog lamps gets c-shaped surrounds, faux skid plates on both the ends and black plastic cladding all around along with wheel arches provide the vehicle SUV like feel.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Anyone familiar with the Figo and Aspire will find the Freestyle’s cabin a familiar environment, but there are differences. The unique chocolate-on-black colour theme gives the Freestyle’s cabin a different vibe, while the long-overdue inclusion of a touchscreen infotainment system also hugely helps the look of things on the inside. Ford had to redesign the centre console to accommodate the 6.5-inch screen (shared with mid-spec versions of the EcoSport) but the move was well worth it. Ford’s latest Sync 3 touchscreen unit not only brings the Freestyle’s cabin to the present but is easily also among the best systems around. Touch responses are really slick, it’s super-quick to pair with your phone via Bluetooth, and though satellite navigation is missing, it does come bundled with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The car is powered by an all-new 1.2L Dragon series petrol engine that produces. 96PS and 120Nm of torque, mated to 5-speed manual transmission. Good Pickup and descent milege even in city heavy traffic.

Ride Quality & Handling Smooth Riding and no worries of bumpers due to 190 ground clearance. Gear shifting is smooth and couldn't notice any engine vibration or noise. Reverse camera and reverse sensor ease in parking and turning.

Final Words Best car in this segement. Soon it will rock indian roads. For better than its competetiors in this segments in terms of features and value for money. A perfect car to buy.

It was December 29, 2018... I got a chance to test drive this car. In my life before that I just driven 5 kms in a four wheeler. I don't know from where all the confidence was coming. It was mid in the afternoon. I was behind the wheels. Irrespective of a learner and I was before informed that it was not a test drive vehicle. Everything noted in the brain. When the engine started and it moved on. There is a long lane near my house. Where the car was pleading to rev hard. That what i sensed. I did that. The grunt and the sporty throttle was worth appealing. I felt like I was inside a sports car. Not only that the ESP was all what was giving full confidence. It had everything which lacks in a 12-13 lakhs car. It might not have got led drls, it might not have got sun roof, it might not have got the appeal through advertisement, what most car brands do to sell their products. The company given its full effort to even let a learner like me that yes something more can be done with that. Jan 6 it was delivered. Next day me and mom wnet on a long drive. Holy mother on the highway I was much confident to ride it at 130-140. My mom was comfortable. And she was enjoying the ride. All my research on cars had finally given me the best. So it's a car enthusiasts piece. Don't get emotional with suzuki and other brands, which just sells by changing the body and letting u be in vain that u r buying something special. ESP, TRACTION CONTROL, HILL HOLD ASSIST, SO MUCH OF CONFIDENCE WHAT ELSE YOU WANT

I got my car on 30th of November. Already drived 3000+. I tried and tested many cars. But this car won my heart. It won my faith over swift, ignis, I20, amaze, tigor. It's an am azing car. Mileage is good. It can be great if you drive it with feather touch acceleration. My car is due for service. I already got 17kmpl mileage. 80% I drived on highway. Their are some issues too. When you drive it on speed breaker where your speed is little more, their is a sound in front. May be of front bumper. It has good ground clearance. So this shouldn't happen. Also steering tilts to left side. Wheel alignment is not proper. Even of a new car. Rest all good.

I have already written a review here after 1st service. Now this is between 1st & 2nd Service. The handbrake is a total failure, the car rolls back or moves forward in a slope more than 45degrees. Had my car rolling forqard and hitting a bike ahead damaging the front bumper and fog light. Fuel smell seeps into the cabin right after refueling. During the service I have been told that the issue is common, what a failure!

The fabric of Seats can be improved for 6 airbag models. Headlamp quality can be improved, light is not sufficient. The dashboard is so large, it could have been reduced to optimize the cabin/boot space. Polished dashboard creates an OPAC shade on the windscreen in bright daylight.

No arm rest for driver,.......no seat cover for T+,.......no projector light ......no DRL,...... no 60,/40 back seat......no cabin light,.....dark ceiling......... Apart from this everything is good...I mean best which no car is proving at this price range especially the safety is concerned....only the above nation drawbacks is to be corrected......
