Bought from Vibrant Ford, Hyderabad. Superb drive dynamics, power hatch of 100 bhp of diesel power is a tireless beast, done road trip of 3000 km of South India. Most value for money product. Paid service cost me average 4000/- for 10000 km. All pros, a little flashy interiors adds icing on cake, but for price it's more than expectations.

It's a amazing car. Actually this is not just a car. It's a rocket. With full features and amazing look and also the dashing fuel economy. The service cost of the car is not too high. Any of us can afford this and also highly stable at +100km/h The ac of car is super duper chilling . Also it's a safer ride

Driving Experience- It's just listens to the way you Drive. Excellent Power, Drivers Paradise, Sharp Like a Arrow. City mileage is 14 in traffic, 16-17 in less traffic , 24 in highways.

Free style is great car interms of Price, features, performance, safety, mileage, Ride & handling, but unfortunately not so good in space, Comfort for which indians gives higher importance.

Ford did a great job 90% but missed out the last 10% which is more critical for indians : Space & Comfort & Style. These 3 parameters (4 th is service network/quality) where 90% people will decide a car to buy on  dont go well with this car. Hence I presume the sales will fall flat after the initial euphoria.

Space: Space at rear is premium for tall passengers and boot space is premium.

Comfort: While front seats are nice, but problem at rear seats with fixed head rests, no 60:40 split, less thigh support.

Style: No LED/DRLs/HID even as accessories. No sporty colour options, plain colours given. 

X Factor: Indians always look for x factor in the car , some thing special. Unfortunately , the X factor for this car is its safety Features , which can't be seen with naked eye, but only during crashes. This car has everything except road presence. Some thing like Sun Roof should be given to attract masses.

Service: Ford service is improving, but not at the league of maruti or Hyundai.

Purchased the car in Ruby Red, Tit+ 1.2l Petrol from Chennai Ford in November after plenty of research and evaluation. The main factor that led in choosing freestyle was the safety package that it comes with. No other models at this price range offers Front & Curtain airbags, ESP, TCS, ARP, and Hillhold control. Have been driving this around in the chennai city and the highways to Kerala and the hills in kerala as well. I should say that I'm not at all impressed with the petrol engine's performance. First 3 gear ratio is good, but after that omce you try to overtake a vehicle on the highway you just have to push it harder. It feels as if the car just can't move. Only two occupants in the car, and still from 4th gear onwards the car can't handle overtaking those extra long trucks that carry cars and bikes. I've 2012 Chevy Beat 999c and it is honestly too good when you hit the pedal to the metal. That chevy engine feels more trustworthy than the 1.2l dragon. Now 3800kms have passed and the whole Touchscreen and Sync system just won't boot up, it came up with lost ESP alarm twice. I felt like I've sacrificed a whole lot of the performance considering the safety features that i was impressed with. And the stock headlamps are useless. In the city though, the car performs okay. Bumper to bumper traffic doesn't give much of a tension. Alao with the proclaimed ground clearance it still manages to hit some of the speedbreakers. My advice driving the Petrol to new buyers is, if you are looking to buy this to take on highways please avoid this. Just driving around the city wouldn't be a problem. For the same price probably you could get better engine with VW and Hyundai.

Ford is a very good car makers. Freestyle is a very good car?? looks,performance is good and comfort is ok.I am taking to my friends he buy it he says it a good cuv everything is good, mileage around 14 to 16kpl,ground clearance amazing.I am very like to purchase it but it has not rear armrest and adjustable headrest.

I have driven about 2500 Km on the car. And trust me the amount of confidence it gives you is phenomenal. Best handling in any road conditions. It has ample room for 5 people,the accleration is good, breaking is too good, stearing control is really good, you won't feel tired even after driving continously.Even After 250 km ride i was as fresh as new. Unfortunately I had a accident and had to replace the quiet a few parts in the front. I compared the cost of spares with maruti , I was surprised to find that the cost of spares are less than maruthi. The perception that ford parts are costly was eliminated. The car withstood the accident like a rock , 5 of us passengers din't even get a scratch because of the accident, and i could drive more than 100 Kms after the accident without any issue( it was a pretty major one, i guess any other car would have simply crumpled in the impact). And my experience at cauvery ford, mysore both during purchase,insurance claim, body work and service was really good. I felt really cared by the dealer. My trust in the car has increased 100 fold after the accident. Absolutely no regrets in buying such a gem of a car. Happy and safe me :). Trust me all those fancy things like DLR's, fancy paints etc etc really does not matter. What matters is the sturdiness of car, safety features, it's engine,driveablity, breaking etc. This car is really top class in those terms.

1.Buying experience is ok. I got no option but to take the delivery of the car that was kept ready for me. 2. Riding experience is ok but with AC on power lag is felt. 3. Look is ok, performance is also ok. I like the torque in 1 and 2 gear. 4. Servicing and maintenance is still awaited. Lets see how TI ford dibrugarh/tinsukia, Assam will execute these part. I am going there on 9/9/2019 for first servicing and fixing of some issues. Pros: 1. Ride and handelling at high speed is good. 2. AC is good. 3. Suspensor seems good at rough road. It helps keeping vehicle from touching the ground. 4. Touch screen display is quite responsive. Cons: 1. Power lag in petrol engine with AC on. 2. Tyre noise. 3. Steering vibration in rough road. 4. Creaking sound from door. Probably poor plastic fitting. 5. Doubt about the build quality now as one cow has left her butt mark on the door side while passing through a herd of cow. 6. Plastic fitment in dashboard is not solid fixed. Many loose area are obsrved. These are my purely observation. May be my car is not perfectly build. But i hope servicing and maintenance from Ti ford Tinsukia, assam, will solve the all these issues. I will update after the servicing.
