 Excellent new front look with aston martin grill, back is similar to polo anyhow looking good

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Spacious legroom, Height adjustment is very good. I used to get knee and ankle pain during a 300km plus rides in single stretch. But with this figo am not getting anything even feeling fresh after long journey.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Well its a 100ps engine, i felt responsive acceleration till 160km/h. I closed 170km/h max so far. Here are my gear shifts

2nd gear: 20-60 km/h

3rd gear: 60-90 km/h

4th gear: 90-130 km/h

5th gear: 130 -160 km/h

 

In my drive, light traffic you can say 60km/h as average speed . i got 350kms/21 litres(approx). which we can conclude around 16km/litre plus(approx). 

3rd is little tight for me, i can feel a step while shifting to 3rd gear. May be after first service it will be good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) very spacious, feature are really nice and very comfortable, nice music system.. but all black looks little dull

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine is very powerful, fuel economy is showing less(15kmpl) may be improve after first service, only 300 km travelling experience...

 

Ride Quality & Handling: Nice, Ford has not compromised with its ride quality. Car has a good balance

 

Final Words Overall a nice package, A perfect car to buy in this segment which scores in all parameter whether its ride quality, handling, built quality, looks, mileage. only concern point is maintanance only which i will come to know after driving it for few years.

 

Areas of improvement Tyre size should be R15, R14 looking little small... dual tone interior would be more attractive...

Just think before buying the regular swifts,i20's. Whatever decision you take keep it in view the safety which is priceless. I feel that Ford Figo is the best hatch in the segment now in terms of Safety, power, FE and Handling

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Really great comfort and space for driver and co-driver. Dashboard looks cool especially in nights. Decent features helps more in daily use.   

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Here it scores more, awesome power. Reaching 150KMPH with 4 people onboard is not at all a strain for this engine. Fifth gear acceleration is good, it helps great in over taking. I am getting 18kmpl with AC fully in city drive, so far I completed 700Kms. Gear box, I dont have any issues with it.

Ride Quality & Handling

Smooth handling, easy for city drive. Once I had a ride in highway, at high speeds(>140KMPH) I am not much comfortable but never felt like loosing the control.

Final Words

Decent looking car with great power , handling, comfort etc. Nice product from Ford. I am getting more than expected for this price tag.

Areas of improvement  

 Wheels could have been little bigger. Boot space and Rear head room is not a concern for me but most of the people on seeing this says that it could have been more.

Exterior Its very Good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I love the interior.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is very good. Economy is excellent. I am getting around 24kmpl with AC on highways.. and 17 to 18 in city with AC ON. Music system is very good. A small concern is it lags a bit in 2nd gear can be improved. Off course it does n't matter much. Its high speed driving and performance is best in the segment.

Ride Quality & Handling Steering is superb. Very light. I am enjoying it.

Final Words A good car in the budget. You can go for it un doubtedly.

Small areas are there for improvement. like head lamp lighting, Rear styling, boot space can be a bit more. Rear seat can be completly foldable, Separate lever for internal door locks.

Areas of improvement They need to gain the trust of customers regarding maintenace cost. They had better job reducing it. but still ford has reputation that it is very expensive to maintain.

Power, Economy, Steering, AC, Sound QualityHead lamp lighting...

Exterior Excellent, stylish front , Heavy bonnet.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)ew Mobile Docking is an excellent concept. Bluetooth connectviity is aswsome. Feel of Gear knob, AC buttons, Lights buttons top class. Font as well as rear space is good. Shoulder room, head room is good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.5 L TDCI is gem of all engines. Its 100PS power is very high for such small size hatchback.

The drivebility of engines in CITY is very good. But it shines on Highway. High Torque alavilable as low as 1300-1400 RPM, making bumper to bumoper city traffice ride a breez as well as on highway.

I have just done 2000KM  long drive ( Thane to Nagour and Back). Very happy with the engine performance.

Fuel avg I got on this trip is 15.8KMPL for this 2.6  MONTHS old car.

Gear shift is not smooth at all. It feels very notchy and sometimes dont get engange Correcttly in 3rd gear.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is good, it absorbs most of potholes , but ground clearance is low when its loaded with 4 paasengers and lagguage, at bigger speed breakers you have to be very careful. High speed stability is very good till 120-130km/hr, after that it becomes unstable.

Small Tyre size could be the reason(175/65/14). Steering is precise, light  at low speed and heavy at high, Feedback is good. Suspension should have been better.

Final Words Very good all rouund package. Practical as well as fun to drive car.

• Tyres should have 185/65/15 alteast for heavy , powerful diesel.

DIESEL ENGINE, POWER, RIDE AND HADNLINGAVG PLASTIC QUALITY OF INTERIOR, DOOR PADS, NOTCHY GEAR SHIFT

Exterior Nice like Aston Martin, Gold Colour excellent,, nice looking.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Speaker output is very good. Space is lesser as compared with engine, Dash board is good handles radio, connectivity to iPhone etc... Ac works fine, comfort is good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pickup is excellent,noise is less ,gearbox is hard, engine performance is good... mileage gives 18 km/litre.

Ride Quality & Handling I drove 3 times on highway and comfort was good... reached high speed 160km /hr. Drive was from Bangalore to chennai 2 times and last one bangalore to Tirupati and Tirumala. I drove Tirupati to Tirumala without any shoes or Chappal and I didn't feel any problem. Excellent.

Time me taken from Bangalore to chennai parry corner 5 hour 45 min and again from Bangalore to Ambattur took 5 hours. Return from Tambaram chennai to Electronic City Bangalore take 4 hour 15 min.

Final Words I advise this car is better for long rides and city, prefer to use diesel one because it is having good power and till 140 km/hr speed you will not feel vibrating. Also you will feel like driving a sports car.

Value for money. Maintenance is lesser as compared to other vehicles. First change in engine oil after 10000kms.

Areas of improvement Rear ac vent, power steering, booting space and Diggy space, parking sensor.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very Spacious in this segment. All current features available for this segment at competitive pricing.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The MOST important section! POWER, COMFORT, SAFETY and MILEAGE all go unbelievably at its best Hand-in-Hand. No current car in this segment has this POWER of 1.5 Litre with 100 BHP @ 1750 RPM.

I test drove almost all hatchbacks for almost 3 months, with so much confusion about which car to finalize. Figo was the last one I drove, and that's it!! The decision was made on the same day!! There was no comparison until I drove this Superb Diesel Engine!! To wrap it up, just drive and check for yourself!! (I can just go on-and-on).

Ride Quality & Handling SUPERB, you won't feel anything inside. Be it even High Speeds above 130kmph. After 3k-4k KM, the engine becomes more noiseless like petrol engines!!

Final Words The current Figo or Figo Aspire Diesel versions are currently the BEST Cars Out there if you are going for a Hatchback or a Sedan!!!

Areas of improvement None till now. The after Sales of Ford has also become very Strict and customer oriented!!

Awesome mileage above 20, Sheer power - 1.5 Ltr, 100bhp @1750, Superb ComfortAbsolutely NONE!!

Fuel Economy Driven close to 6000km.

Very poor, In city only 9-10km/l and highway 16-17km/l. Complained after 2500km. after that, they called for service two times and just washed the car and gave back. After constant follow up they called up for mileage test. Mileage test was done in best road in Bnagalore -NICE ROAD and car driven by their expert driver. Results- 20km/l, without traffic n pot holes or any other obstruction. its been more than three weeks and they havent given any concrete ans.

Gearbox- Not good, sometimes it stucks while trasitioning from 2nd to 3rd, which is risky sometimes, when you intend to shift the gear but it dosent work. Complained about this also but no solution. After shift from 1st to 2nd is not smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Good except gear.

Final Words Good car with poor mileage and bad gear box( Though i was informed through various other reviews on youtube and other means still went ahead thinking compny might have improved the problem by now. 

Pathethic after sales service. None of them considers themselves accountable if they have sold a poor product. But

Exterior FAR BETTER THAN OTHER RIVALS.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Practically perfect place to be in with most powerful ac in segment, theatre like audio quality with nice connectivity and a very roomy cabin which swift doesn't offer.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Supremely refined diesel motor with great fuel economy, gearbox too very nice. Overtaking is just a breeze.

Ride Quality & Handling Great ride n handling, feels like Hyundai when driving it around the city thanks to light steering, gains weight gradually with speed which offers you very high level of confidence doing triple digit speed without any fuss.

Final Words As I said if you r definitely a car lover, believe in driving n resale is not a big concern (getting more of less 50000 bucks) u should definitely go with it. It has more than worth of your hard earn money.

As I practically feel if maruti have been making the figo then nobody would prefer to buy swift as it has a very lazy ac, cramped interior (especially second row n boot), stubby exterior, same mileage with underpowered diesel motor.

Areas of improvement Start/stop button, 15 inch wheel will enhance overall personality.
