Exterior Nice appealing looks. However, door handle plastic is of very poor quality. It began to look old and jaded within 2 months of purchase.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Audio System information panel is bright enough. Hard to see in daylight. Basic verison does not have Airbags, a detail I missed during purchase. Only higher versions have it.
Interior looks are not as classy as other cars in the same price range.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very poor pickup and acceleration. It takes eternity to pick speed. I suppose that their claim about torque needs a serious reverification. Gears are also not very smooth, though manageable.
Fuel economy is no where near to what they claim. Dont expect anything more than 16.5-17 on diesel engine.
Ride Quality & Handling OK.
Final Words Very poor ergonomic design. Doors opening and closing is the most irritating activity. They give a feel of 1970 vintage. An 8 year old child will find it hard to open the door. For closing you need to bang it old style. Head lights are weak and you may need to change with HID. But that may cause you warranty loss of electrical wiring etc. which are extremely expensive as is normal with any Ford car.
I have vowed not to buy another Ford car ever.
Areas of improvement Door hinges and lock, ergonomics, fuel economy, engine power and torque, Gear shift mechanism, Boot space design, Interior looks.

Exterior Excellent Exterior with wheel on the back also the front chrome grill is amazing.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seats are very comfortable ,space is ok but boot space is very less needs to improve.Dash board is superb with that sync fetaure.Over all i love this car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Already using IKON TDCI and engine is really good and this is 1500 cc with 91 bhp so it should be a disel rocket.Fuel economy is pretty good and gear box is also smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Not yet taken test drive as there was a waiting os 2 hours but will definetly take it in a day or two.
Final Words I LOVE THIS CUTE & COMPACT SUV and going to book it.
Areas of improvement Boot space needs to be improved otherwise everything is excellent.

Exterior Looks new age and will not look outdated atleast for a few years, unlime the duster which already looks dated.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Like the simple interiors though a lot can change but then at this price point, you really cannot expect more. I have the TDI optional and i love what i got for my buck.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have driven the vehicle for 6000Kms so far and i love the mileage of 17Km/L i am getting. I am sure it will get better after 2nd service. Gearbox is just fine and engine performace has not given me any cause of concern yet. I had a Honda city before this for 7 yrs and while the performance, handling etc of Honda is far better, i cannot complain since eco has 16 inch wheels, a diesel engine and is taller. Hence i cannot compare the 2.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is fine although like i said above, my reference for comparison is Honda city which i had prior to this buy and that can be an unfair comparison. Honda was more grounded and had more grip on the road. that was obviously due to its low height and comparitively smaller tyres. I dont feel the same in eco but i expected that due to its larger types and taller design. i love the feel of the car and it truely is an urban SUV. i see a lot of complains about interior space or plastics quality etc. WHat i dont understand is whether these people bought the car without test drive and didnt see these aspects before buying. The plastics, upholstery etc is just fine in the optional version and believe it or not, it is value for money.
Final Words The car delivers on what it promises. Keep in mind, you get much more that what you spent. A lot depends on yr drive and how you maintain yr car. There are a few areas of improvement which i have mentioned below but such small issues are expected of any new design launch. This is my first diesel car purchase. Would i buy another diesel car - No, but thats just my preference of petrol cars over diesel, now that i have experienced both. But eco is definately a great diesel buy. Barely any noise inside and great mileage and performance.
Areas of improvement One area of improvement is the noise from the boot lock and other rattling noise within the car. mind you, I am not a rash driver and treat this car very well. Mine is totally a city drive and i slow down considerably on bad roads. still there is noise from doors etc. The boot noise has been there from start and Ford service center took notice and changed the lock twice. it works for a few days and then the noise comes back. Harpreet ford has provided a very professional service support every time and even though this issue has persisted, they have time and again tried to resolve. I will be discussing this issue with tme again during 2nd service and hopefully, they will be able to find a n acceptable solution.

Exterior Quite good, The materials used in the car are of good quality. front grill provides it a great look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is very good in comparison of other cars but a big problem of space. Music system and dashboard is also very fine.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox All are fine in comparison of other Ford cars. 1.5 L Diesel engine and 1 L Ecoboost engine has good advantage and provides a good power to vehicle while driving on roads.
Ride Quality & Handling It provides a good touch while sitting inside the car. The steering is very good and light. All the accessories and technologies which are using in the car are awesome.
Final Words We can say it as Good Hatchback cum Mini SUV. The drawback of this car is only the space problem. Apart from this concern, we can say it's totally value for money.
Areas of improvement Space should be increased and an option for adding 2 additional (extra) sheets. The length and height should also be increased up.

Exterior Its giving a Good style as compare withthe same segments cars so its having a stylish exterior and this is the only car i think which looks good in all colours are available in this amazing.
Interior with good (Features, Space & Comfort) Its having Nice Interior with enough features ,space and comfort which required i think nothing to be needed more in that from outside it gives all the assesiories inbuilt.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its having good economy but power is less altogh gearbox is quite good but i hope it will give a good perfomance on highway as well as in treffic also.
Ride Quality & Handling I hope it will be good beacause of it has good suspension as well as good tyres which gives a good handling.
Final Words A great value for money in this segment a good hatchback giving everything almost which needed in this type of car
Areas of improvement Nothing much.😎

Exterior Styling is nice and the car though of the same length as i20 looks bigger. 16 inch alloy wheels and arches enhance the looks. Color combinations (with side claddings) are good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Best equipment levels among same bracket cars in the market. The interior and equipment levels are even better than next segment cars like Innova and XUV500.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.5 petrol engine is peppy and is doing service in Fiesta already. Doesen't have the oomph of ecoboost but a rather well endowed engine suitable for city traffic. Fuel economy should be in the 10-11 range in the city. Gear box is really slick with short throws.
Ride Quality & Handling Extremely good riding and handling. Slight amount of roll, but not anything noticeable.
Final Words I am waiting for delivery (3 months waiting period). I bleieve after this car, duster, XUV500, Innova all will have to reduce their pricing. It is likely to eat into the sales of desire, amaze and ertiga as well. One of the best value for money packages out there.
Areas of improvement Back seat comfort is less comparatively. Also there is some panel gaps to be seen in the interior.

Exterior Looks very good with all new design and concept, the car has very good ground clearance which is certainly required on indian road conditions.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors quality is definitely good compared to Duster, Ertiga etc. Things on dashboard are well placed and handy. Back row spacing is cramped but under thigh support is good enough to accommodate 2 persons comfortably on a long route. Phone Sync options is interactive though need to check more on its realibility.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I drove swift diesel to the SC ford showroom to test drive the ecosport, To be honest, I didn't feel much of a difference between the two if the initial pick up is concerned. Check the torque of both cars and you find not much of a difference. Car reaches moderate speed in moderate gear ratios. Nothing extra vagant about the pick and speed. Fuel economy is claimed @ 21, shall get around 17-18 KMPL practically. Suspension system is solid and good enough to carry bumpy mumbai roads and potholes.
Ride Quality & Handling Good Ride quality, feels rigid when speeding. Handling is smooth, Less body rolling inside.
Final Words Value for money as no other compatct SUV is avaiilable in this price range, Though need to check on Ford Spare Parts, Service and Maintenance expenses.
Areas of improvement Interior spacing and rear boot. Also the torque should be higher as there are lot of other cars in this price range have better pick up.

The Car is full value for money considering the features you are getting for the price you are paying. Ford is known in the market for the ride quality and fuel efficiency of their vehciles and I am sure that the Ecosprt will take the market by storm. Alloys, the dash and the smoothness of the steering wheel will simply get you sold for the vehicle. I loved the ride i had and am sure to buy.
Bad: waiting period os a bit too long:(Ford dealors need to do a better job and should not be trying to absolutely fool the customers with additional expenses. Ford Dealer in Dwarka. I think it is Astro Ford gave me a very bad experience with improvemnet in the way these guys treat the customers I think Ecosport can create History.
Final Words: Ride it to actually believe the quality of the vehicle you are getting.

Exterior An UGly Duckling when you see from the front. The high end model has good finish and the pain job is good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Superb Features for this amount. Super AC, Seat need to have a bit for comfort. Nice driving position. WOuld have been a killer crossover if 5 people can sit comfortably but the space is good for 4 not for 5 as it will be tight.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good smooth engine , Good Pickup, Low noise diesel engine, Smooth gear shift.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good responsive vehicle, very good braking.
Final Words You cant change ECOSPORT now as too much has been spent in R&D. Next vehicle from Fords stable has to be an Innova basher. For now its a car packed with lot of features but its usability is little limited due to its space.
Areas of improvement Space Space Space & The Front has to be redisgned to make this vehicle a beauty.
ForD Eco sport 2nd generation has to be longer, wider with a much bigger engine and has to be INnova Basher.
