Exterior Its is stylish care in its segment. The quality of paint and body design are nicely curved out.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Spacious with nicely designed interior. Audio is excellent. Ford could provide day LEDs along with GPS system and full view screen. Instead of putting sunglass holder at the top, video screen could be implanted.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is good, but attimes it appears that when we shift gear from higher to lower particularly in third, the car takes time to take the pickup. Must work on fuel economy. Gear box is good, but has scope for improvement.

Ride Quality & Handling The ride is confortable an enjoyable and for those who are elevating them from small cars like alto etc, riding Eco sport is aremarkable experience. I also thank Shree Sai Ford, Jabalpur for their dealings and excellent customer care.

Stylish car in its segmentInterior good

Exterior Excellent, cant get better than this. i would have loved to have spare wheel cover as a standard on top end.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) A lot is said on most of the review of ecosport, i felt music system is most under rated in reviewes. it has awesome audio quality, i have driven this vehicle for close to 2000kms and there are no words to explain the pleasure of driving this machine.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Overall its very good, i got around 14KMPL with 1st full tank for city ride (Bangalore) and 2nd /3rd full tank have been on long drive and got around 21KMPL and this is more than what i had expected.

The only thing i dint like if the lack of torque when you shift from 3rd to 2nd gear on hilly terrain.

Ride Quality & Handling It just cruises on highways and you dont even feel vibrations inside the vehicle, on bad roads its not the same as you feel the bumps inside (reason could be sporty suspensions)

Final Words I dont see any alternatives for this vehicle yet, its just awesome. Go for it.

Areas of improvement Suspension can get better.

Good Road Presence,Interiours, Music System & Dynamics.Shifting from 3rd to 2nd gear on ghat section does not give enough power.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox No driving comfort. It is very horrible. The service providers will loot you.i had an experience while driving my friends vehicle and had to end up in repairing the new vehicle engine. New vehicle had to be engine repaired and no warranty was given by company though the mistake was from their roadassistance team.

They try to put all the blame on customer.and never expect any help especially from Ford India customer executive. They can change their statements any moment.

Ride Quality & Handling Never drive through rain water otherwise you may land up with engine repair. 

Final Words Never believe their roadside assistance. They may put you in deep trouble and may have to end up repairing engine with a cost approx.170000/- and no support from for india.

Dont drive during monsoon season it may get hydrostatic locked and customer has to repair the vehicle without any warranty as it happened with me.

Areas of improvement Not suitable for rainy season.not recommended in India.it may be better for middleeast.

Good styleNo warranty for the vehicle

Is was wondering if am i the only one complaining to Ford India about the loud rattling noise heard from my engine front side with Ac on, it almost sounds like a 5 year old car and as if my number plate is loose.

When i went to the Service center and listened to the Demo vehicle it sounded the same, and the team says its normal noise, it may be normal to them but not for me who purchased the topline and Eco boost supposed to be an award winning car.

Unfortunately during my purchase i was out of the country and didnt get enough time to check the vehicle before the purchase, no other cars of mine make this noise not even my 7 year old ford fiesta and my 5 year old Endeavour.

I am on the verge of selling it off if my problem is not solved its 1 month old and driven only few hundered kms.

Im requesting all ford ecosport owner to share their review on the same as i am taking this up with Ford India by all means.

Exterior GOOD EXTERIOR, BAD DISIGN OF FRONT GRILL.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox GOOD.

Ride Quality & Handling POOR BREAK SYSTEM.

Areas of improvement RUBBER BEEDING,BREAK SISTEM,FRONT GRILL, USE GOOD QUALITY PLASICS FOR INTERIOR AND MAINLY INCREASE SEAT WIDTH AND BOOT SPACE IN  BACK SEAT. BACK SIDE SEAT IS NOT UNIFORMILY DESIGNED. EXAMPLE IF 3 PERSONS ARE SITTING BACK SIDE, CENTER PERSON CAN SIT PROPERLY BUT OTHER TWO PERSN IS GETTING ONLY LESS WIDTH OF THE SEAT. BUT IT IS VERY COMFORTABLE IN TATA MANZA. THE SIDE POST ALSO BLOCKING THE VISION WHILE TAKING TURNING.SEATS ARE ALSO VERY HARD AND POOR DESINGED AND ALWAS FEEL DISCOMFORT FTER 10 KM DRIVE. 

Finaly improve your service, If the customer say 10 complaint, they will rectify only 6. But this issue is happening almost all the dealeres ,but the manufacturers are not at all bothering. So please take car about the service. Exterior is extreamly worst like less space,poor seat design and boot space.

I loved the stance and looks, when I saw it in the internet it was small, but the real look defied me, the interiors have a good feel good. The drive especially since it is an automatic, we have the ability to concentrate more on the chaotic traffic. The space is good for 5 perosns, easy seating for Fat people! Leg space should have been a tad better. We can still sit. The vehicles interiors are super with good interior qulaity colours. I do not know what mileage it will give, but the team has assured my a minimum of 12kms. That should be ok. The drive was smooth with a slow acceleration, I have been told that I need to be a bit soft on the pedals initially. handling I have not known since I have not driven much as yet. I hope the car performs to expectations. Also I would like to mention that the entire Team at Malayalam Ford is super! I had earlier seen a write up in this site of the bad service and spoke to them about it. They assured me I will write other wise. Here I am.

AFTER SALES/SERVICE IS POOR

Lack of knowledge of service staff at dealer's service center , misleading staff and disappointing when you are out of warranty.

Regular issues especially in electric/electronic part and things like engine sound, wiper issues etc...

They/their dealers mislead on all issues and have intention of replacing the high value part rather then repair or replacing the part with a issue.

I recently had a nightmare and even I involved Ford but found that ford is also helpless in front of dealers and always protect them.

I am holding 3 Ford cars and now I don`t recommend any one to buy ford. Before connecting with ford in 2010, many of my colleagues told me not to go with ford due to service issues but I got trapped and now I am realizing after 8 years that I made a biggest mistake of my life as Ford india is biased towards justifying their mistake and fully spoiling their own tagline " kuch alag se family wali feeling".

poor performance of clutch. clutch is too hard and uncomfortable for long drive. Very disappointing. Hi All, Ecosport is a great value for money. It's cost effective in terms on mileage, spare parts & to maintain. Even being a ford product the resale it quite good. The dealership network is good as well.
