The EcoSport drives much better at slower speeds. The Ford felt almost punchy slipping through busy streets, but its vague steering and noisy ride diminished the experience. While its ride can't isolate the cabin from rough surfaces, the softly sprung suspension on our Titanium test vehicle effectively cushioned occupants from the harshness. Too bad the spongy shocks and top-heavy demeanor led to unruly body motions. These effects were amplified at higher speeds. The brake pedal on our front-drive Titanium model never felt firm, but it delivered consistent response. *HIGHS Affordable, compact and maneuverable, easy-to-use infotainment. LOWS Disappointing fuel efficiency, sleep-inducing acceleration, lacks interior space.

        • Not at all an SUV from a engine and pickup point of view
Exterior I would say look wise it is good both exterior and interior, though the interior is a bit dark, but then it also means it will appear less dirty.  Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The ride comfort is there, the shock absorbers are good, best part is the height of the driver's seat. However the A bar creates a massive blind spot which makes driving pretty dangerous unless you are carefull.  Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox   This is where the vehicle looses everything. I am driving this car for past few months, have taken it on a couple of long drives (500 km) at a stretch. The pick up is dismal, worse than a maruti 800, believe me when I say so. On a slope the or slight gradient the car pickup can come down drastically. Definitely not a highway car. I have also gone ahead and put a K&N air filter, which has improved marginally, but nothing great. Do not expect any robust engine performance. I believe, the body build and weight is not supported by the engine. It is a total let down. I feel cheated having paid over 11 lakhs plus several modifications, I think the value for money is not there. Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable to ride, but as mentioned the A Bar zone is not only a let down but a pottential accident hazard. It is wide enough to hide a bike or cycle on either side.  Final Words Not worth the money. Definitely not the petrol version. Spend some more go for Hyundai Creta , Nissan, or even Renault duster.  Areas of improvement    Definitely, Engine performance, Torque and pickup. Possibly mileage which in my case is not more than 11 Km to a Litre (after K&N air filter fitting).  Design; Riding comfort, ground clearanceEngine performance, Pickup and speed

        • Ecosport petrol 1.5 L Not a good Value for Money
Exterior  Definitely the Exterior looks are to die for, getting a SUV within the same cost levels of a mid segment sedan, changes the game. The body build quality is robust, you can make it from the doors itself, which are heavy and sturdy, giving you the feel of being inside a sturdy and secure vehicle, (but this has adrawback as well !!) Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)  I feel the interiors could have been done beter, firstly the plastic quality could have been improved. The digital display in monochrome blue could have been a notch better, by including a touch screen infotainment. A rear AC vent again would have been good, but the AC is really strong. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox  The Engine performance and Gearbox are the real bummers. The Engine size and vehicle weight do not go hand in hand. The vehicle is really too heavy for the Engine to pull it. The engine moans when you are driving on slopes. (I dont know if the issue is with my vehicle or same accross all). While on the first gear the vehicle would really jump off, but thereafter the pickup is real low, infact gearshits are needed at arround 3500 rpm, thereby becoming a fuel guzler. I am getting a mileage of arround 10.5 Km /L while the brochure saya it is about 18 Km / L.' My expectation was for a much more powerful car, and it has been a total let down. Ride Quality & Handling  The ride quality is quite soomth and so is the handling. But for reverse parking it is better to have rear parking camera / sensors, as the rear visibility is very poor. Final Words  Overall, the vehicle is not a value for money, today there are better vehicles in the same segment giving better value for money Areas of improvement    Definitely the engine and pickup  Design is definitely the best thingLess Space
