The Underrated Aspirer

As always I'd like to review this car purely on performance basis. This unit is mated to a Torque converter and a very powerful engine that twists at 150Nm and churns out 123bhp! Put this drivetrain in it's ' S ' mode and there's a sure sudden power thrust. I've noticed the revs building up post 3k rpm. The engine gets lively and becomes an enthusiast's dream. The pull you get is tremendous and does give that feeling that you are sinking into your seat. I've not experienced this in an AMT or on CVT tranny's for sure, DSG's on the other hand are a different story all together. It's ride and handling strike a perfect balance and I'd like to thank Ford for getting this setting quite right for this segment. Strangest thing in the car is the manual shift option offered. + and - switches, Why FORD? Feels really weird and not an accepted feature. The Aspire is an excellent car to own. You do compromise slightly on fuel efficiency. But it's power delivery and handling makes up for it. An underrated car for sure.
