Horrible service from ford. They sell an only new car no service afterwords. No spare parts available in the showroom, they said it's Corona problem so no transport but I have got 100 products from Flipkart and Amazon, how the problem only with ford only. Also, no one is there to receive ur call on customer care. They just ask to mail and reply only on mail but no action.
I am a new driver and this is my first car. I bought it with my own money and I love every inch of it. Maybe it's not the punchiest of engines, and getting up to highway speeds takes a bit of time. However, the sheer driving dynamics blow me away each time I step into the driver's seat.
The car flies! Bought this beauty (Petrol) in 2016 and I had to decide between Swift Dzire, Honda Amaze and Hyundai Xcent. When I test drove it, I immediately decided to go with Ford Figo Aspire. The gearbox, clutch, break and accelerator were simply seamless and buttery smooth (still is). Brilliant performance overall and the looks! Seems like Aston Martin from the front. I highly recommend this car. Its 2020 December now, just recently the car makes slight fable cabin noise (expected). Earlier that was not the case. The car is ageing well. No creaking noise from seats or door when driving at high speed or bumpy roads. The milage... Can't complain much because I am driving this on the busy, traffic prone streets of Bangalore. It's average and expected. Go for it.
Covered 93000 km till date since 25 May 2017, No problem at all. It has covered numerous highway runs, average service cost is Rs. 5000/- per 100000 km. In city average is 22.8 and highway 27 km/l on driving 80-90 km/h.
Took test drive of new facelift Titanium plus Petrol and Diesel.
Driving Aspire is fun, specially while driving Diesel.
Solid build and AC is good enough.
Touch pad information system is well placed.
Looks very nice and front fog lamp looks awesome.
Meet few old aspire owner and they are well satisfied with machine.
Petrol City mileage- 10-12 kmpl
Diesel City milage - 15-17 kmpl
Good power and Diesel pick up and power is at his best.
Few more things-
1. Car looks nice and looks solid body build but not good as EcoSport.
2. Front seat experience and comfort is awesome give premium feel.
3. Dashboard design is Ok Ok if we compare to Amaze or DZire.
4. Rear space is good but rear seats are not inclined so you will not have comfortable experience on long drive.
5. Rear compartment design loses is practicality by not having cup holders on arm support, door pockets, and rear AC vents, charger point.
6. Higer variants those having 15 Inch tyres still has 14 Inch spare wheel which is weird , I contacted Ford dear and company customer care but different person has different reasons to explain, although this issue is with Amaze and DZire as well.
7. Boot space is less and having high entrance which problematic while loading big bags.
I bought the Ford Aspire on April 2018 ,just before the production of the old model stopped. But I ll never regret that decision! I had a pretty good discount by negotiating, as news was spread in the air that the facelifted model was going to be launched soon. My showroom experience was pretty good and they did treat me well.
I have driven around 7000 kms in the past 5 months and it is surprising me everyday (in a good way though). The suspension is set up soft which is very good for low speeds but in highways, you may feel a thud creeping into the cabin.
The best thing in the car how it turns. This is the best steering setup in a car below 10 lakhs in India, fact! It is so chuckable around corners and the steering is calibrated very well. Kudos to Ford for that.
If wanna talk about looks and that's your main priority to boast in front of your friends and family for the stylish design, then the Ford Aspire may disappoint you. It's not for everyone's taste. My suggestion to you would be to check out other cars like the Suzuki baleno and the Hyundai i20(diesel).
The Ford Aspire diesel is the perfect car for a car enthusiast. The power surge comes after 1700 rpm. Before that it's calm and not so responsive, but after it hits then you'll experience real fun. And as it is small in size and you don't have to worry much, you can have fun in cities too. You can feel the clear difference as it has 12-14 bhp than it's competitors. It just pulls and pulls in the highway but I really had wished that Ford introduced a sixth gear in the diesel variant (not offered in the latest model also). I hope we had more pocket rockets like these in India.
Mileage is unbelievable! You can get around 21-23 km/l if you travel everyday through the highways. In cities you can get a maximum of 15-17. Tried and tested in Mumbai traffic so that you can believe me.
Service and maintenance is not at all a problem as Ford is desperately trying nowadays to improve their mistakes which they did in the past. Almost every main component in the car is significantly cheaper than those offered by Suzuki.
Pros -
1) The best driver focused car under 10 lakhs in India! Punchy engine with a feedback rich steering setup.
2) Very practical with huge cubby holds in the front. Space in the real seat is decent too.
3) Mileage is just great.
4) Service and maintenance cost is less compared to it's competitors.
Cons -
1) It is not that appealing to look and may have mixed reactions from everyone.
2) Even though the ground clearance is high, the front flap touches almost everywhere.
3) Cabin quality could have been improved drastically. As Ford has used hard plastics n the interior.
Overall, I would recommend this car to everyone and the facelifted model is much more better and feature loaded. And the good part is, the new model is almost the price as the previous one.

Thank you for reading!! :)
Car doesn’t have driver seat with the height adjustment. For long drives seat height adjustment is required. It should be provided driver seat with height adjustment which is necessary for long drive.
1. Buying: I had booked a Baleno & waited 6 months for it to come, and then when it came to the dealership I was out of station and they gave my car to some other buyer. When I came back to city, they said they could not keep a Baleno unsold for few days when there are thousands of customers waiting for a Baleno car. I cancelled booking & decided I would never go to a Maruti dealer again in my life. And I do NOT feel any regret at all now.... I think God had a better plan for me. Went to the Modi Ford dealer the following day(30th Dec 2016), did a test drive in a Aspire TdCi 1.5L and I fell for it. Booked it on the same day. They gave me discount of 50k + Insurance free. Took the delivery next day 31st Dec 2016.... and my new year began with a shiny, sexy, new hot Ruby Red Ford Aspire car :)
2. Riding : Its clocking 44000+ km as of today. Ride quality is slightly stiffer than Maruti or Hyundai cars. Cabin feels very spacious as for a sub 4 meter car. Seats have good under thigh support. You wont feel tired after 500-700 km run in a day. You will feel the pot holes & bumps in slower speed though. MRF stock tyres make lots of noise.
3. Looks: Look is subjective. I loved it. You may or may not.
4. Performance: Power is more than sufficient, in fact most of the time you will feel yourself sitting in a most powerful(power to weight ratio wise) car on the street that are within 10-15 lac rupee price range. 0-100 km can be achieved under 10 seconds. It can give Polos & Swifts & i20s & Rapids a run for their money. Turbo lag is almost negligible after 1200 rpm. Handling corners is better than any other car in the same segment. Steering is light but very precise & accurate, in fact I would say its better than or in the same league of Polo or Punto(without the weight of HPS) kind of pedigree..
I drive 50-60km everyday for office commute. I had done 6 highway runs(up & down) so far, 3 times hyderabad to goa, 1 hyd to Sitapur(in UP), 1 hyd to Sagar(in MP) & 1 Hyd to Tirupati(in AP). And the car performed without any issue at all... no rattle, no break down & no other mechanical issues. It drives like a bigger Sedan in higher speed on the highway. It can do 120km/hr all day non-stop without letting you be in any uncomfortable situation. Braking power is awesome. Apply brake and it stops at any speed without any drama. ABS is extremely sensitive & you can never skid the car at any speed.
AC is very strong & can chill the cabin within minutes. Music system is just average.
Fuel Efficiency: I get 14 km/l in city on those days when I try to have some fun.. :) 17-19km/l in city on those days when I drive with a very lite foot.
Similarly I can get 19-21km/l on highway when I drive at speed above 100km/hr all day, and I can get 25-27km/l on very smooth highway when I drive with a lite foot and speed within 80-100km/hr. So it all depends on you, what you are doing with the machine.
Servicing: If you are not careful or mechanically aware individual then those Ford service center folks might screw your happiness. Those so called mechanics at Ford service centers are bunch of A**holes.
Maintenance: I find service cost is competitive to other car companies. Maybe a few 100 rupees less or more than the Maruti or Hyundai. But its nothing overwhelming.
I give my specific instruction to the service center agent while giving my car for service and I dont fall in their trap of "change this or change that or this coating/that coating". :)
Pros: If you are to buy only 1 car for all purpose with 8-9 lac rupees of money then this is it!
Cons: 15/16 inch wheel with 185 or 195 section tyre would have been a very nice compliment to the car & it's power. 14 inch wheel is not good enough. Music system sounds very ordinary. And of course the service center folks are of some pain. 4 star is for this. Though I am not sure how the mechanics at Maruti or Hyundai service centers would act. I guess it would be same in all service centers for me. :)
Disclaimer: I am a bit mechanically aware about the Automobiles and so I find fault in almost all service center folks. It sounds to me that they talk clueless most of the time... I feel their only agenda is to get your money and change the engine oil and somehow get the car out of service center... :)
In my opinion this car is one of the best car of an medium class Indian family. Ford gives five years of warranty, parking camera, touch screen dashboard, good servicing and maintenance, power full engine so I think it's
Very nice
Thanks.
Doors are a bit weak, otherwise nothing to say best sedan in this segment, best mileage 1.5 litre engine for best pickup, i went on a top speed of 170km/hr in this car. My choice is to try this
